    This company installed my hvac system 19 years ago! Still running all this time! But lately needed a blower motor in air handler so Don came and fixed it in no time at all- AND for a reasonable price too. Diagnosed the problem immediately!! I'm so happy. Use this co and you will not be sorry!I Have had issues with other companies who could NOT fix my ac problems-said they didn't know what the problem was!!! Yet my handyman fixed the problem at that time-go figure.This co is the Real Deal. After all, 19 years is a very long time!Don is the best also.I am very impressed!

    BAIT AND SWITCH, BE AWARE !!! STAY AWAY FAR FAR AWAY !!! Wish I seen on here first..STAY AWAY!! A/ C died and called them, they came out said you need a new A/ C last one got 5 years ago in Condo..Tech gave me a price and said they have interest free for one year, sounds good to me, I told him how much you need for down payment said $1000.00 down, so ok, let's do this..Tech made arrangements, to have water turn off for a few hours, ended up being turn off over 6 hours on entire stack of condos..People were asking what was taking so long??? After 6 long hours A/C was done, GREAT !!! Not SO !!! Installer said we need to Collect the remaining balance of $3500.00, I told him no I was doing the free interest plan for a year, they call office, guy was INSISTENT I PAY IMMEDIATELY..I told him the guy was here a few days ago and I took the free interest plan, he tells me the guy never did a credit check and WANTS THE MONEY NOW !!! The guy was going APE SH$# T on me..PAY NOW !! PAY NOW !!! PAY NOW !!!..YOU have NO free interest plan, If you want us to do free interest it will be another $450.00, I told him then it is not FREE interest plan, is it if you are charging me..BAIT & SWITCH..So I paid them the money,And not extra $450.00 later that evening Water was running out of A/C, called them up on Thursday, the next Tuesday they come by and realized they did not install A/C correctly, I said NO SH%T.. Missed putting A/C over the main blowing hole and did not insulate top portion as I had to stuff towels to keep the air going in house have been bailing out water with towels 3 -every day, I also asked where new hoses were as they used old ones from 35 years ago !!! CRACKLE AND POP, HARD !! Said we got them and will come another day, great, week later said we have some one coming out the same day they called, I said a notice would be nice as I have to take off work , so left work early, called tech, said on my way, ask him if he had hoses, he said what hoses ??? Told me he doesn't carry hoses, I said that was the reason, they were coming back for 3rd time ??? So made another appointment, for 3 days later, now over 2 weeks later, took off work again money lost,just called them, OH we did not tell condo we had to turn off water, so we AGAIN are not coming out ??? ***..I beginning to wonder if they are really a company as you just get Operator most times.. Now I will need to take off work again 4th time again no money so they can make another appointment to Finnish up, been over 2 weeks !!! YIKES, STAY AWAY !!!STAY AWAY !!! Sometime I doubt they will even come the next time...SHOULD GET NO STAR !!! I have also seen they been reported to better business bureau several times, I might need to add my name to the list !!! Update from 09/07/2018 Finally after 4 months WAITING had city inspection, and failed on 2 counts, electrical and install, advised company, set up confirmed appointment for them to correct, when they did not show up called their office and they wanted me to contact their tech person to find out where he was ??? I told them the Tech is your employee- you call them..Needless to say he did not show, happened at least 5 times a NO SHOW- NO CALL,I will be back in January , Hopefully after 6 months they will be able to complete install and PASS the city INSPECTION !!

    They refused to come out without charging us. About five months ago we had the original installer come and check the system. At night I can hear a low hum. He could not hear it and tried to charge us a service call. When I made the arrangements, I reminded them we were under warranty. I refused to pay the charge. Later that week I spoke to the owner���s wife and she agreed to have their best person come out and check the system. I have had serious medical issues with my eye requiring specialized surgery. I could not make the arrangements until trying this week which I told their receptionist . I was told because five months had gone by, even though our system is under warranty, that they would charge us. We have been their customer for years. They have serviced our air-conditioners, put the new system in at a very inflated cost which they admitted because of their ���great service���, they have cleaned out all of our ducts and I am shocked that they refused to come out. Of course they would come if we paid them. I noticed on Angie���s list that they are now a ���B��� company. I am not surprised. If you are looking for an HVAC company, my recommendation would be to look on Angie���s list and find another company. I���m sure there are plenty of good ones out there that would not treat faithful customers in the way we have been treated..

    Very professional and excellent work! I had a bedroom that only had one 6" duct providing air from my AC unit and the room was constantly warmer than the rest of the house. AAA Modern Air came out, diagnosed the problem and gave me a quote for putting in a new air duct to the room along with a return vent. They were able to come out a few short days later to do the install. 50 feet of 8" air duct was installed, along with one jumper duct that would allow air to return from the room. I have a low profile roof and they were able to get the vents and ducts installed in under 3 hours from start of job to the finish. Their attention to detail was superb, the placement of the vents (fit and finish) with the drywall made it all look seamless. Mike and his partner went above and beyond explaining the work in addition to cleaning up the worksite. I was afraid that I was going to have drywall dust and insulation everywhere but they took the time to cover the area they were working in, along with putting drop cloths down. When complete they swept and cleaned up all work areas and made sure we were satisfied. It is a pleasure to have professionals show up on time and do quality work! Instantly noticed the temperature difference and cooling to the room with the new duct work. I highly recommend them and would gladly use them again for any AC work.

    We were referred to Vortex by American Home Shield. This was the first time we had used this company but we had other companies repair our central air conditioning system in the past. Each time, our central air would work for a few weeks then quit working. Vortex technician listened to our description of the issue, ran several diagnostic tests and really found the root cause of our intermittent issue. He was professional, knowledgeable and prompt. He explained what he found; showed us the malfunctioning part and was able to get the part replaced under our warranty since the a/c unit was only about 5 years old. He came back the following day with the new part as promised and our system is working fine now. We would recommend Vortex.

    Working with AAA Modern Air was a great experience from the initial phone call to the service appointment! The technician was punctual, polite and knowledgeable. He educated us on the maintenance process and things we can do as a homeowner to make sure our AC unit continues to work properly. The price for annual maintenance seems very fair given the biannual servicing and other associated perks.

    Absolute A/C & Duct Repairs
    I received three estimates, but this company was the only one that spent time in the attic and took pictures so that I could see and understand the problems, which were explained to me in detail. Aileen and Leo are wonderful to work with as they are professional, competent, articulate, and friendly. They always returned my calls if I had questions. Leo, Yury, and Sebastian are excellent workers, who understand that they are in someone's house. They were courteous, clean, and responsive to any concerns I had. I recommend them highly.

    Once we connected Abel was great about reaching out. Abel was on time and courteous. He examined my air filters and vents and noted there were some mold spores on the filter and vents. Suggested a treatment with a product called Envirocon. He treated and cleaned every vent. I'm just not sure why this treatment is so expensive (total was $750?) Abel gave me some insightful advice regarding taking care of my a/c. He cleaned up after his work (even vacumned most of my house!) He also looked in my attic to determine if my ducts needed work (as this has been mentioned to me before.) He was very thorough in explaining everything he was doing. Able is very passionate about his work.

    Had a few small issues related to making holes in the ceiling and fixing a concrete wall. In addition to adding some duct work. Overall the process was very well done. The house is now very cold and the unit is no longer taxed on those really hot days. They were very professional and came back to fix one small issue.

    Told me it was low on Freon, needed to be filled. A day and a half later it stopped blowing cold air again. Called another company to be told I had a leak!! So I essentially paid 500.00 for nothing, this company is shady. They never said there was a leak.
