    Perry Wright Home Repairs
Mr. Perry & Mr. Dave are amazing! They came in & cleaned up mess left by prior contractor & saved us. They repainted walls, repaired dry wall patches, tiled a shower & tub surround after removing the old tub & installed new tub when plumbers couldn't figure out how. Installed second set of new baseboards after another plumber screwed up shower water value & we had 3 inches of water in newly completed bathroom. Installed shower door, a beautiful barn door and installed tile on the lanai and rescreened our lanai. They're coming back when they have time to update the 3 doors in the condo. I can't say enough about the quality and methodical work they do, it takes time but the work they do is amazing! You can have fast or you can have right and Perry & Dave's work is always right!

    EAST COAST SCREENS
A representative named Clyde came out in the April 2014 timeframe to take measurements and provide the estimate for the job.  He was very professional and answered all the technical questions and put my mind at ease as to how the job would proceed.  After considering proposals from three different companies, I signed the proposal and it took about six weeks for the plans to be finalized and the permit to be approved by the City of Satellite Beach.  Their engineer ensured the job would meet all code standards.  The west side of my pool screen was built within one foot of my neighbors property (a variance was required which took an additional 8 weeks to accomplish - I did all the variance work prior to contacting East Coast Screens).  Due to the fact that my screen was so close to the neighbor's property, East Coast Screens had to be very creative and build the west side of the pool screen in a reverse manner (inside out) to allow any future repair work to be done from the inside of the pool screen. They carried this out beautifully. When the permit was obtained, another exact measurement was taken and with these exact measurements, a gentleman named Walter Wells at East Coast Screens, did the exact cuttings of all the materials at the East Coast Screens factory.  When the outstanding four man crew showed up, they had all the major pieces already assembled.  They simply set up all the frames on the ground on the empty lot across from my house and did most of the screening on the ground at that time.  It was amazing how little on-site cutting was done on site - almost none!  From the time the crew arrived, the job was actually completed in about 3 days.

It clearly is one of the best constructed pool screens around with the critical exception of the initial screws used to hold it all together.  Unfortunately, the screws starting rusting all over the place in about 90 days.  After about 7 months of working with East Coast Screens (June 2014 thru January 2015,  about replacing the faulty, rusting screws with a quality product, Walter Wells came out on February 3, 2105 to initially supervise 3 of his employees (Al, Chuck and David) changing out 100% of the installed screws with a product called Millennium Fasteners with a zinc overcoat - having a 10 year warranty.  The idea behind this product is that the Ultracote prevents the rusting interaction between the steel fasteners when they come into contact with any aluminum screening materials- a major problem in Florida.  Mr. Wells also explained that his company did not give me the Nylo-Tec screws that I had originally requested (with a 10 year warranty against rusting) because he found that after about 3 to 4 years, the Nylo-Tec screw heads, made of plastic, would crumble upon trying to remove or work with.

I had offered to pay East Coast screens additional monies for the work he performed but he refused saying the manufacturer had agreed to pay all the additional costs due to the rusty fastener problem.  I appreciated his integrity.

It did take East Coast Screens from the June 19 "job completion date" to November 6, 2014  to make a few touchups, such as extra caulking due to minor leaking around the super gutter area and they replaced 2 pool screen sections that they accidentally tore during the construction phase. My wife and I called them on multiple occasions to remind them we needed the minor follow-up actions.

In conclusion, I am raising the overall rating for East Coast Screens from a "D" to an "A" as of today, February 4, 2015, as they appear to have corrected the last deficiency (time will tell).  The only rating below "A" is for responsiveness where I have rated them a "D" due to all the time taken to get the major job deficiencies (i.e. the rusting fasteners) corrected.  To those interested in hiring East Coast Screens, I do still highly recommend them for their overall high quality of work.  Just make sure you are getting fasteners that will last a very long time and the other thing is: have some patience, it will take about twice as long as estimated to get the job completed and that is contingent upon you getting a very high quality fastener (probably the Millennium Fasteners with Ultracote, the first time!  Having said all this, my pool screen is beautiful and I am finally very pleased with the final product.

    Accurate Windows Inc
Researched the company through Angies List before giving them the job and I have not been disappointed in the workmanship or the workers.  Very nice and professional men in Rodney and Gerry. We will have to put together another big party for my large family and call it a christening. Thank you Angie for giving me the info I needed.

    Matthew Ray Homes Inc
Tony Ray is a class act.  I mean it.  Tony Ray made me believe that a major contracting job can be done without pain.  I've had personal experiences with horror-story contractors in the past (a drunk worker passed out on my fireplace, a gun & box of bullets left in my son's bedroom by a divorcing worker, a contractor physically intimidating me into paying more than the agreed-upon money... - real horror stores!)  This time it was very different.  I called three well-respected contractors for bids- Tony was the only one who came up with a great solution to a major concern with my renovation.  I wanted to expand a room in an older house and enclose a porch, but make it solid and hurricane-proof.  The two other contractors told me that I would have to have poles or partial walls in the middle of the new room, for roof support.  On his initial visit, Tony was able to envision putting an I-beam in the ceiling that would eliminate the need for central supports and allow me to have a big open room without central poles or walls.
Tony kept in contact with us through the whole process, always responded to calls or emails and his men and subcontractors alwasy cleaned up after themselves.  They were respectful of our property.  The price was reasonable for the work done.  He did extra work that I thought of along the way in other parts of the house.  Once we got the permits, he was quick to complete the job, and always explained any delay, even of a day or two. Tony and his son Matt are a great couple of guys.
My best friend did a renovation just before we did ours, on her own house, used another company, and told me at the end of our renovation that she wished she had gone with Tony Ray.
I am a busy physician running two medical businesses and Tony allowed me to have the time and energy to devote to other things, rather than worrying about what my contractor was up to.  Thanks, Tony.

    John Silvers Handyman Services
Mr. Silvers himself came out to see our porch and the type of screening he would be working on. He was great at explaining why our porch needed to be replaced ;as warped and rotted railings and rusted out bolts were found. Pictures were taken to document damage. He gave estimates on what it would cost to build a new aluminum porch versus the cost of a wooden one. He went and talked to both our town's code inspector and a civil engineer before starting construction to get the latest updates on any new or changed hurricane codes. This was important as it required having his crew come out, remove a hedge and pour concrete footings and use stainless steel tiedown strips, nails bolts, in construction. After the porch was completed his crew came back to repair /replace part of our sprinkler system broken when bushes removed. Thinking ahead helped prevent problems that could have been costly in delaying work. He also went and researched a new technique for holding the screening in place that didn't involve strips of wood and nails, as that was a reason our porch was extremely labor intensive and wouldn't last in our salty, moist sea breezes. His work crews were polite, on time, and professional answering any questions we had during construction. They kept the work area very clean and were very helpful when moving my mother's multiple plants, hanging baskets, and furniture off and on the porch. We are very pleased with the porch and hope to have other remodeling/handyman work done by him in the future

Great. I needed a complete demo of my bathroom and changing room and closet. John redesigned the space and now I have the most beautiful bathroom, one that I could never have imagined having. He is very good at leading you toward a sensible choice, within your vision. He is very good at what he does and has a lot of patience. His employees were all courteous, clean and a pleasure to have in my home.

    Palm Bay Aluminum
Our home presents a rather unusual setting for a pool enclosure, requiring an unusual shape with various insets, an angled section, a block wall, a pool shed, and some guttering complications. This company was recommended to me by the screen contractor we'd used in the past who was no longer in the business. It was a solid recommendation. From the estimate on, everything was done professionally and to our satisfaction. The crew worked meticulously at initial survey and measurement. given that the site was complex and out of square. Once they cut the members, things went together cleanly and dropped into place without any rework required. The work extended over a couple of weeks, during which time the crew left the site clean each day. The office did a good job of communicating project status with us and coordinating with carpentry work related to the project. I can't think of a single complaint about the conduct of the project, and the end result exceeded my expectations.

    Florida Screen and Aluminium
They were good to work with.  We kind of knew what we wanted in terms as the size and the shape of the flagstone and the patio was a 12 X 12 screened in area with sliding vinyl windows that you could slide them down to close it up if you want to.  So they took what we had put together and put it into a professional plan and drawings and we looked at it and made mutually agreed changes.  So they helped us get what we wanted with their professional help.  They were responsive when they said they were going to come out and see us, they did.  The final product seems to be very good it has been up about a month or so now.  The price seems to be very good.  We had another contractor quote on it and the price was higher. In terms of helping us decide what we wanted and getting it done and schedule and price it was all good.  We will use them again in the future.
