    Mr. T Appliance Repair
    When we founf that the dryer did not heat we called Mr. T who had previously repaired our washer. The call was made in mid afternoon and he was working on another job; but, he said he would stop by later in the afternoon and see what the problem was. He Did. A coil in the heating unit had burned out. He did not have one for that dryer with him but he promised to come back early the next morning. He did and he repaired the unit. We are very happy to have him as an appliance repair professional.

    AFFORDABLE APPLIANCE REPAIR
    On 7/19/2019, I was so impressed. The Repairman was nice and did the repairs. But my frozen items were thawing out by 7/22/2019. They sent the same repairman out and he was pleasant as before and re-repaired the coolant leak. I did not open the freezer on 8/2/2019. But when I did on Saturday 8/3/2019, to take out my water bottle with 60% full of frozen water since 8/1/19, I found out it was entirely thawed out! So I called Affordable and spoke with Laurie, the owner. She calmly told me they couldn't send anyone out until Monday. I was in shock and in that tone of voice, I asked her what was I to do? I would lose everything in the fridge/freezer! Then she turned into a shrieking banshee. I can't begin to estimate how many times she used her favorite F work and exclaimed "How can you talk to me about this??" EXCUSE ME! She did calm down a bit when I explained to her that I had recently purchased 3 months each of 2 kinds of insulin at about $250/$300 for a one month supply and my part D insurance will not buy me more because I had an ineffective repair company out to fix it twice! She then agreed to send her husband out between 1 and 4. He got here just before 4. The freezer never fully froze my foods as they were slightly soft to the touch, but my water bottle finally froze late on 8/4/19. This afternoon, just before 5,I opened the freezer. Everything is melting again. Water Bottle, ice cubes, everything. I have requested a refund and something more to help me replace my food and insulin. I fully expect another screaming fit from Laurie. In looking at other reviews, this isn't her first time. See You in court!!!! Cost of Service below includes a rough estimate of my cost for loss of food and insulin.

    We found Husband and Wife when we were looking for alternatives to replace a 22 year old Sub Zero refrigerator we were having issues with (not cooling enough, water leak to ice maker). Another service came in and told us we would need to replace it - it's a built in so that would have cost us close to 15k. Brian came in and looked at it and in no time cleaned out the compressors, ordered a couple key replacement parts for the ice maker, and got it all working again - he basically saved us 15k. And we just had him back to re-route our A/C condensate line - called on Monday and it was done by Tuesday. Long story short, Amanda and Brian are capable, responsive, friendly, and reasonably priced. Highly recommended for appliance and HVAC needs.

    We are very, very pleased with our experience with A Plus Appliance Repair! We sent Sergei a text on a Sunday night when our refrigerator was not staying cold. He responded right away on Monday morning (we were so grateful) and came by soon after. He was prompt, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He suggested that we replace our fridge due to the high cost of repairs needed. He didn���t need to do this - he would have made far more money repairing it. He helped narrow our choices by letting us know which fridges he repairs the most. I would highly recommend Sergei for any appliance repair. He is trustworthy, ethical and excellent at what he does!

    Thanks to so many stellar reviews for Mr. T Appliances on local home repair websites, I finally found Mr. T! He did a GREAT job repairing my older LG refrigerator and answering a lot of questions not only about refrigerators but about other kitchen appliances. Mr. T's prices are very fair AND he is outstanding at communicating with his customers. Very strong recommendation!

    BRITTS REPAIR
    I contacted and paid Britt's Repair to look at it. Based upon the price quoted to repair it, I was instructed to double check if I had paid for an extended warranty. Once I confirmed I did indeed have an extended warranty (after locating the receipts for this appliance) I contacted the warranty company and completed all items necessary so that Brits could get the parts needed to repair the ice maker. Britt's then ordered the parts on 8/13/18....the parts took several weeks to come in and finally they were able to come back out and replace the Ice Maker and Motor Module.....this occurred on 9/20/18. My ice maker quit working again 1/10/19. I contacted Britt's Repair on 1/18/19 and they do NOT warranty the parts they installed AND since my warranty with the company I was using has now expired, the will come out for a $75 service fee and re-diagnose the problem. The problem is EXACTLY what the problem was to begin with....so basically they want me to have the same repairs done for an approximate charge of $440 + an estimated labor charge of $125. NOT even 4 solid months since the repair and the parts they installed are not working. It is terrible that a company would not warranty a product they installed and furthermore lack any care for their customer.

    I called to schedule something to have my fridge looked at. After hearing the symptoms, he told me I could save money by attempting to tix myself. He was fairly sure I had some ice buildup, and suggested simply unplugging it for 24 hours and leaving the doors open. I did so, and it worked. Will keep his info for my future appliance repair needs. Appreciate the honesty and saving me the cost of a service call.
