Can't get them to finish the job. I have been waiting since February to get them to finish. They need to hang a rain chain that I paid for. Repeated call get no action. Still don't have a date for installation

Ben Healy came out to the house to inspect our roof because of leaks.  I had also purchased a maintenance package.  Ben was very thorough and provided me with a detailed report along with many pictures regarding the issues with my roof.  I had several questions after his report and he responded quickly to my emails and took my calls the very same day.  He took the time to answer all my questions.

We had a great experience.  The owner, Julian Puga, arrived as scheduled to give me an estimate, which was the lowest of the three that I received.  Julian also agreed to have his crew address a few additional minor issues on other parts of the roof for no additional charge.  The work was completed over a day and a half, within a short period after the estimate.  The crew was very professional and picked up all debris, tools, etc. after each day.  I would highly recommend JJP Roofing and would certainly use them again.

I first contacted them on July 2, 2015 and said I wanted an estimate to replace my roof.  Jennifer said she would have the roofer call me to set it up.  Two days later he calls and gets the info, address, etc.  About 2 weeks later and four phone calls with not one return call I finally receive the estimate.  He encloses a picture of the house.  I can tell he just went by that very day because the house did not have siding on it until that day!!  They held me up waiting for weeks, never apologized, were extremely unprofessional and the estimate was more than twice what other roofers had quoted.Bad.

Because of too much weight in the closet, clothes rack pulled about 6 feet of sheet rock from wall. Mark repaired the sheetrock, mudded and fixed it so it looks new. I had him forgo sand and painting because another portion of the closet still had clothes hanging up. Being a closet with clothes this was a nonissue. He installed about six feet of horizontal 2 x 4 to existing structure. He then mounted an additional 2 brackets (3 total) to ensure stability. All done professionally. His price was extremely modest and reasonable for the service performed. He works in the northwest Florida area. I was so impressed with his work and cost I have lined up two more projects for him to do as he has time to fit them in. I highly recommend this personable and professional handyman.

They were professional on the follow up call once the deal was purchased. They were prompt and professional. They did not address the issues I had with the gas fireplace leak and gutter repair. I tried calling them several times before they called back. The work I actually wanted them to do they didn't repair even though it is written in the deal that they would.

    L & J Gutters LLC
L & J Gutters arrived with a crew of three, in a professional looking truck and trailer, as scheduled. Ladders were extended to the third floor roof without delay. Workers performed in a timely manner with minimum noise and disruption to the guest of the condominium. Within a short period of time the old wind damaged gutter was removed and a new gutter installed. The work area was properly policed for metal clippings and screws. The work preformed by L & J Gutter LLC was of high standards at a fair price. Our Condominium HOA would not hesitate to use this service again in the future.

    Jim Wheeler Repairs LLC
Roof repair was the last piece of repair work to be done, which fell barely under the deadline of time allotment. Roof review can only be regarding the installation since the deadline of time didn't allow for my experience with the new roof work.
Project was scheduled to begin the first week of November of 2013. It was put off until the 2nd week of November and claimed to be on site early on the 11th. The team arrived just after noon and sat down on the deck to enjoy lunch and the view of the Gulf of Mexico before they started.
Scheduling never got any better. The project was always scheduled in "phases" that were determined my Jim and Jim only. There was never a coordination of time with me (The onsite Project Coordinator for the owner). In fact often (if I got a call to announce the team's arrival) it would come anywhere between 10 minutes-1 hour before arrival. Often there was no call.
Upon the team's departure of the very first day, I noticed nails all over the walkway and photographed them. I asked Tom (Jim's co-contractor) to please pick up the nails the next day. He let me know that they would blow them off the walkway. I urged them to be picked up instead. The home is located directly adjacent to a public access and walkers, kids, dogs, and all other public are within steps of the home. Tom told me he didn't need to be micro managed and that he'd been in the business for 20 years and didn't need to be told how to handle this problem.
One of the glass panels on the far west sliding glass group was installed inverted. The inside was outside. This was reported to the team in the 3rd week of December and not corrected until the second week of March.
Interior trim around window in master suite was not matched. Old trim was used and notches from the old window remained in the trim work as of the 2nd week of March.
Clean up was maybe the most neglected in terms of interior respect. Saw dust and wood debris was left in the sliding glass tracks. Glass stickers were left on the panels. Carpet was covered in debris from installation, and left. Nails we continuously left on deck.
This owner was left hanging until the very last day before having her property returned in rentable order. The quality of the final product of work was excellent. The price was reasonable. The responsiveness and punctuality were absolutely terribleleaving the professionalism total to be moderate at best.
During the project, Jim's staff had offered that Jim had his personal home under construction and that many times they were working at his home. Many of the excuses for not coming to finish this project were due to "the weather". As a resident Project Coordinator, I was completely aware of the weather everyday. We disagree on weather being the reason to extend the project in the ways that it was.
If you have plenty of time and don't care when your project is concludeddon't mind doing th clean-up your self (for safety)and can deal with insecurities regarding alleged "micro management"you'll enjoy the quality that comes with this team.
If your bar is higher this might not be the team for you.

They were prompt and thorough with their bids, communicated extremely well with requested adjustments and info provided by the homeowner prior to beginning the work.  Originally scheduled for the week of Christmas, we were pleasently surprised that they were able to start a week early, completed during the timeframe outlined within the bid/contract, and did a magnificent job with the clean-up and removal.  Torrential rain the following week resulted in a small leak down one of the 'knocked-down' chimneys.  The day after they were notified of the leak, workers showed up and resolved the issue.  Absolutely the best workmanship and responsiveness we have ever experienced when dealing with a contractor.  We highly recommend this roofer to anyone who needs quality workmanship!

Workers were very efficient.  They hustled and were through in no time at all.  They answered any question my husband had.  We had to wait for the endcaps to come in.  They came and installed them with us not even knowing it!  Would recommend them.
