    Very professional techs. I had an annual service call on our central air-conditioner. The cost of the work today was extremely reasonable. The tech thoroughly explained the problems with my 13 year old unit. He gave me a proposal for a new unit but was not hard sell. I will seriously consider his proposal. *I have since hired them to install my new central air-conditioning system. The work was top notch and the cost was very reasonable. The owner even came out to the job site to check on the installation. The city inspection was today and it passed with flying colors. Great job!

    Mr Cool Air Conditioning & Heating LLC
    We have been a customer of Mr. Cool's for sometime. They replaced our air conditioning unit 3 or 4 years ago and we have a regular maintenance contract. Over the last month, our Heater didn't work and they were great when we called. They sent a tech out and he had to order a part, but he fixed the heat blower so it would work until they received the part. The part came in earlier than expected - great news and replaced. They are priced at a reasonable rate for service and parts and their techs are truly knowledgable. In addition, they offer a maintenance program that we have had for a couple of years and they visit every 6 months and do a great job on checking out the system. Multiple points review. Today we had Chris out as our maintenance check and he went above and beyond checking and cleaning everything! Very impressed! In this weather whether hot or cold I've always been very thankful we have found such a dependable, honest and professional company.

    Horribly. The system never worked very well...seemed to struggle to cool the space. Then, after a couple of years limping along, we had a major mold outbreak that ended up costing us nearly $100,000 to remediate. The main problem was that the HVAC system was incorrectly installed and calibrated. The air intake was small (instead of sucking on a straw) whereas the air output was large (i.e., reversed), which, coupled with the incorrect setting on the system, led to poor performance not removing humidity. The unit was sitting in a pan of water and the ductwork had standing water in it. It took another company to evaluate it and then correct it all. Sanibel Air wanted instead to try to sell us a UV light add on to address the mold. That would not have worked. So, if I were you, I would be very wary of this company and its poorly trained technicians.

    Gulf Shore Cooling Inc
    At our request, Gulf Shore Cooling sent Ian to our house to see if he could figure out what was going on and after a thorough inspection of the attic and all of the equipment, ducts and vents, he diagnosed the problem, which was the air handler. He said it could be repaired but at 10 years old, it probably wasn't worth it. He also felt the ductwork was inadequate for the house, and found a number of ducts that were leaking or damaged, and outlet boxes that weren't sealed. So basically we were air conditioning the attic. In south Florida. In the summer. Yeah. Just to be sure his solution was exactly right, Ian sent the lead installer (Scott?) over and he also went up into the attic for a thorough inspection and came to the same conclusions. We agreed on a new system and some duct work replacement and rerouting. I had checked around on pricing and the proposed price for everything was very competitive. Mike and Edwin came to the house right on time and replaced everything in one day and we were up and running that afternoon. They replaced the old drain pan, the plywood decking under it, the entire AC system (air handler and outside compressor unit), most of the ductwork and even the thermostat and humidistat, all included. They also were meticulous about cleanliness, putting down tarps and being very careful while removing the old equipment. They cleaned up and hauled away all the old stuff. And there was a lot of it. Scott came by during the installation to ensure everything was going well, and Ian came by a couple of days later to make sure we were happy. And we are! We give Gulf Shore Cooling the highest recommendation for honesty, integrity and professionalism.

    They never called us back to come and do our annual service. The previous company we had in another state always called us and scheduled the service.We did not hear from them so we decided to find a new company. We inherited their service from the previous owners of our home.

    We recently purchased the home and even though the inspection had not turned up any issues with the unit, the technician found that it had NOT been serviced in many years and needed it BADLY. He also found the main drain line was clogged and part of it had to be replaced.
    I had found a coupon on Angie's List for maintenance service from this A rated company just two days prior to this issue. So we knew exactly who to call when the system stopped working. There was a little misunderstanding with the bill. I was not present when the tech finished with the work and my husband forgot that i had purchased the coupon. However, i was able to call the company later and I spoke with the Assistant Manager. I described the circumstances and she adjusted the bill right away. We are very happy with our technician and with this company.  As it turns out, the tech was new to this area too and spoke of how he wanted to work for a highly rated company and how he found Pure Air on Angie's List.  Pretty cool how Angie's List works somethings.     Matt called ahead to let us know he was on the way and showed up on-time. We had just purchased home and wanted the AC system inspected and routine maintenace performed. ��We used their Big Deal coupon for the service. All went well, Matt took care of a poorly done patch in the air return duct work that had been done by the previous owner. ��He checked the operation of the air handler and the a/c unit, and cleaned the air filter. ��Very professional.
