    When I have work done there -- no issue. When my called to have them pick up our Kia that wouldn't start, they were very rude, dismissive, and talked over her. They wouldn't tow it because they couldn't get it out of gear. They said the gear release was broken. Shortly after they left, my wife used her "woman brain" and did it in seconds with a ball point pin. This is not the first experience they've had like that, but it will be the last.

    They did a great job and were about 25% of the price of Honda. They'd never done one before, I gave them the info I found online, and they did it within an hour. I got tires from them, they beat everyone's price. They gave me 3-4 tires to choose from, I was able to research them online, and the one they recommended was the one consumer magazine recommended. I contacted them to do an inspection on my son's car and they were extremely helpful, they could have hit me for a lot of money, but instead they offered a very good low cost solution. They're very personable and very good.

    As a new resident of Southwest Florida, I'd never had an auto serviced in the area before. I e-mailed Estero Bay Chevrolet late in the day after my and quot;change oiland quot; light came on, and had an appointment for service the very next morning. Check-in was courteous and efficient. I was told the work would take about an hour. The waiting room was pleasant, the work was done in an hour, the cost was reasonable, and check-out was both quick and friendly.

    We had an agreed upon time frame for the delivery of my car.  The day before delivery was expected I find out that delivery cannot be made on that date.  However, I could take delivery if I would make a two hour drive to the depot.  Otherwise the car would not be delivered on the date agreed upon.  I made the drive so I spent four hours on the road to take delivery.  My understanding is that McElley is the broker and not the transporter.  However, neither McElley or the transporter offered any compensation for the inconvenience.  Further this transporter should never have been chosen if they could not meet the delivery date.

    The rear window in my truck developed a water leak. I phoned A+ and they were familiar with the problem, gave me a reasonable estimate, and scheduled a convenient appointment for the repair. When I arrived, they explained the work that had to be done, and promptly commenced work. They removed the window, scraped off the old gasket material, installed an upgraded seal, and reinstalled the window. They worked quickly and completed the job in about an hour. The staff was knowledgeable, professional and efficient, and the repair was a complete success.

    Scanlon Lexus of Fort Myers
    When we first arrived in August 2010 to purchase our first Lexus, we were offered and explained in great detail the many benefits of buying a Lexus Certified Pre Owned vehicle. All of the safety checks, the extended warranty, the outstanding service, and the fact each vehicle undergoes a COMPLETE inspection, thereby enabling the vehicle to become a "Certified  Pre Owned Lexus". One of the issues questioned and confirmed by our salesman, was if any Certified Pre Owned vehicles have been involved in accidents, and we were firmly told "NO", if a Lexus has ever been involved in a accident, it can't become a Certified Pre Owned Lexus and Scanlon Lexus just won't sell used vehicles under the Lexus Certified Pre Owned program that have been involved in accidents. 

    Well.....In April 2011, we began the process of looking into buying a NEW Lexus suv or crossover type vehicle. Upon arriving at Scanlon Lexus once again, another salesman began his explanation and a demo of the RX450 series SUV. This demo and the time spent on the Lexus RX450 began the process of learning about the Lexus Hybrid lineup, and the next vehicle we decided to purchase was the Lexus RX450H. 

    Next came the process of working all of the numbers out, including the sales price, and the trade in values (yes, we were trading in two vehicles). The used Certified Pre Owned ES350 purchased from this same dealer only 8 months earlier was one of the two trades. As the used car manager began the process of looking up the ES 350 in their system to arrive at a trade in value, things started getting a little strange. While we paid full advertised asking price 8 months earlier, and no accidents or damage had occurred to this vehicle in our 8 month ownership, and service of the vehicle was verified as having been completed by Scanlon Lexus, the value being offered was not the premium trade in value, but was lowered one category. When asked why we were NOT being given the higher trade in book value, we were only told that number isn't the number used in the industry, even though the used car mgr is the one who pulled out his little book and proceeded to gather trade in values from it.

    Well we decided to not purchase the new RX450H from Scanlon Lexus and proceeded to Germain Lexus dealership in Naples a few days later. Upon getting the higher trade in value on the used trade Lexus trade, the paperwork began and we were ready to sign and deliver our two trades and take delivery of our new Lexus RX450H. Then the truth hit the fan!!!! We were notified by the staff of Germain Lexus that our trade in Certified Pre Owned Lexus purchased from Scanlon HAD in fact been involved in a accident prior to our purchasing the vehicle from Scanlon Lexus as a Certified Pre Owned Lexus. This accident proceeded to lower our trade in value, as it was explained this vehicle could not no longer be offered as a Certified Pre Owned vehicle.

    Needless to say, we were SHOCKED that a Certified Pre Owned Lexus had been sold to us by a Lexus dealership that knowingly had been involved in a accident. I have attached the Carfax report provided to us by the folks at Germain Lexus, which shows the accident was clearly known to the staff at Scanlon Lexus, as the date span between the accident and our purchase of the Certified Pre Owned Lexus was more the 19 months!!!! 

    We ended up completing the new Lexus purchase from Germain, as they made good and followed thru with their original offer made for the used accident history Lexus, and apologized for us having to have experienced any of the issues we had in this car buying experience.

    One week later....I returned to the Scanlon Lexus dealership, pulled in to the parking lot in my F250 and started looking at their used inventory as if I was in the market to buy a used Lexus. I was approached by one of their salesmen, and proceeded to inquire into the benefits of the Lexus Certified Pre Owned program. It was all explained, same as it had been before, and I even confirmed the issue of the Certified Pre Owned program NOT allowing any vehicle involved in a accident into the Certified Pre Owned program, and he solidly confirmed accident vehicles are never certified as Certified Pre Owned by Lexus. 

    I then informed we had a problem and asked to speak with a manager. I proceeded to explain the issue above to the manager, and talk about a defensive stand being taken!!! It was like I had done something wrong and was all flipped around to be the consumers fault for purchasing a Certified Pre Owned vehicle that had in fact been involved in a accident. Nothing was offered or done, and to this day, It would be my guess Scanlon Lexus is still selling Certified Pre Owned accident history vehicles AND lying to their customers for the sole reason profits are higher in obtaining a accident history vehicle and then turning that same vehicle out on their lot under the Lexus Certified Pre Owned program, which enables the dealership to charge more for the vehicle.

    USE EXTREME CAUTION in buying New or Used vehicles from Scanlon Lexus. Do you homework, pull your own Carfax report and NEVER take this dealerships word on anything said, as you may become very surprised at what your really getting.

    I stopped in as a new customer, the got my car right in fixed the A/C drain hose and diagnosed my brake fluid leaking problem. We set an appointment to have it fixed when I went on vacation. I came back from vacation to pick up the car and the job it was done correctly. The estimate was about $50.00 higher because of the part quoted was slightly different than the part that actually fit.
