We signed the agreement September 15, 2018 and paid the required deposit of 33%. According to the "Process Timelines" provided to us by ACS, ACS would apply for permit approvals at weeks 6 to 11, the preconstruction meeting was to be at weeks 9 to 14 and the project would start at weeks 10 - 15. Then the project would be completed in 10 weeks. After many calls to ACS to see when our project would start, we finally had a preconstruction meeting on April 25, 2018, 32 weeks after the agreement was signed. Demolition of the bathroom began soon thereafter and we paid the second installment of another 33% as required by the agreement. The walls and flooring were completed and a toilet was installed. As of today (6/26/19) no other work has been done. We placed several calls to the president of the company. Most were unreturned. When we did actually get through to him, he said he would find out what was causing the delay and call us back. He did not. Yesterday (6/25/19), I finally reached a lady who worked at the company. She promised find out what was going on and call us back. She actually did what she promised. We learned that no permits for the bath or kitchen had been filed. We also learned that the tub and vanity we had chosen had never been ordered. We told her we would gladly pay for the work that had been done, but we wanted the remainder of our money returned so we can hire someone else. She said she would pass our request to the owner of the company. As of today, we have not heard from him. This company has over $30,000 of our money and has not done anything they promised. This project has become a nightmare. It should have been finished three - four months ago. I just hope we can get resolution soon.

My parents are in their 70's. They hired this company and signed over insurance benefits to them. Their salesman promised the moon. It sounded like it would make everything easy for my parents because one company would handle everything. A job that should have been 6 weeks (that's what they were told) took almost a year. My parents were out of their house the entire time. (We even watched as an entire neighborhood was built right down the road from them in less time) The companies used to paint, repair and replace were substandard. Everything was removed from the house. My parents were told nothing would be discarded without her consent. In other words, if it was non-salvageable she would have say in whether it was discarded. Her memorabilia was discarded without her knowledge as were many other things that could have been salvaged. We spoke to the company about this on at least 5 different occasions and they kept telling us it was all packed. We knew it wasnt because some of the things we pulled out of the dumpster ourselves. After unpacking these things were not recovered and there were things missing that were costly. There was worked that was not completed. The floors were to be grouted and sealed but it was not done. The money paid by the insurance for the floors was supposed to be credited to my mom but they only credited her half the amount they collected. The same happened with the money allotted for a huge mural that had been hand painted. She received credit for only half the amount the insurance allotted. There were issues with the appliances that is too lengthy to go into here. I had a meeting with the company owner to discuss the work not completed and the missing items. He acted like it would all be taken care of and was very pleasant until he realized the final check would not be handed over until it was settled. He threatened my parents with a lien for non-payment. I was there to settle this and make sure final payment was made. I had the check with me and told him I would follow him to the office to sign it over once his company wrote a check to my mom. There was no reason for such threats. In the end they credited my parents $500, far less than should have been. I was then sent an email claiming they would send this to their attorney if not paid in 5 days. We paid the balance even though it was not earned because it is too much on my parents to continue to drag it out. She did not want to be harassed any longer. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone and especially anyone who is elderly and not able to stand up for themselves against aggressive measures.

Called the store to ask about tile instillation and was informed to come by the store. My husband and I went into the store and looked at tile available. We picked out a tile design and we set an appointment for him to come to our home for measurements and estimate 2 days later on a Monday. The appointment was at 3pm. He called at 2:30pm to state he was not going to make it he was too far out of the area and wanted to reschedule for that Friday, Had rescheduled appointment for today Friday July 21st for 1:00pm. He called at 1:08pm to state he was too far out in Daytona Beach and would need to push the appointment back another half hour, I informed him we would call him back to reschedule as we had other appointments to do that would conflict. When someone shows you who they are believe them. We don't want to do business with him.

I sent a request to this contractor to receive a estimate for a repair job on my home. We have a beam that is sagging in our ceiling and it needs to be repaired. Rick responded right away to my request via emai, unfortunately he is unable to help us. It's very discouraging, because I can't seem to get anyone to come out to my home for an estimate. However, Rick was at least professional and kind enough to contact me right away. A+ for response time.

I have the best contractor in the world! We had absolutely no complaints. He was there all the time. He knew how to do everybody's job. He was good-looking on top of it. He was completely honest. He gave a break down of what was going on at any given time and he did the follow-up. He had his vendors there when he said they'd be there. He was a contractor that actually knew about everybody else's job. So he wasn't someone that was just picking up a phone and calling a plumber. He knew how to plumb, he knew how to electrocute, he knew how to do everybody's job. And you don't find those kind of contractors nowadays. He was totally reliable, time worthy. I just called me today because we had an issue with our dish washer and he remembered the whole situation and detail for me. His price was similar to everybody else's because we had gotten three quotes. So he was the same. We weren't shocked, we expected what we got. He was very professional.

Jeff and his team was very professional throughout. The work results - a tile floor - are beautiful. He was able to get a lot more covered via insurance than I was due to his knowledge of such claims. While I did have some out of pocket costs, they were fair and reasonable and had to do with upgrades I wanted (moving from Pergo to all tile). Highly recommended. Thank you Jeff for an excellent job.

    Albert J Demateis LLC
We chose Al over several other home builders and we are very happy with our new home.  Al was extremely competitive but did not skimp on anything.  Al was very flexible in building our home the way we wanted to build our home (as long as it met code). Al treated our home as his home and to this day is quick to get back with us on anything we need.  There was a time when Al actually did the physical home building labor so he knows exactly what and how things need to be done.  He always held his Subcontractors to the highest standard and insisted they build the home the way he would build his own home.  Al was professional and a pleasure to work with.  We would recommend him to anyone wanting to build their dream home.

DR Horton had an incredible sales staff. They took care of us from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we purchased our house. We did have a little bit of trouble getting the builder back out to fix a few small aspects of our house that needed touch up. However, the overall quality of the house is great.
