    Premier Remodeling Services
I hired Premier for a bathroom remodel including removal of tub, tiling and installation of a new shower. Geoff and his team were fantastic to work with. Everything went smoothly from the beginning to the end of the process. Communication was great and any questions or concerns were addressed right away. All of the workers were extremely professional, completed work timely and cleaned up each day. I would definitely recommend them and plan to use them again in the future.

Leo's Fine Trim Inc & Handyman Svcs
We would highly recommend Leos Fine Trim! He and his wife are detail oriented, punctual, and do high quality workmanship! We were in need of someone to install modern, glossy, flat panel kitchen cabinetry with precise carpentry work on this material and Leo came through for us! Leo used his ingenuity and created matching fillers, panels for the side of our ovens cabinetry box and other sides of cabinetry to match the white glossy front panels on the cabinets. He and his wife were kind, proficient, hard working and punctual. We would highly recommend them and we do plan to call on their service again.

    Orange County Construction Co
My parents are in their 70's. They hired this company and signed over insurance benefits to them. Their salesman promised the moon. It sounded like it would make everything easy for my parents because one company would handle everything. A job that should have been 6 weeks (that's what they were told) took almost a year. My parents were out of their house the entire time. (We even watched as an entire neighborhood was built right down the road from them in less time) The companies used to paint, repair and replace were substandard. Everything was removed from the house. My parents were told nothing would be discarded without her consent. In other words, if it was non-salvageable she would have say in whether it was discarded. Her memorabilia was discarded without her knowledge as were many other things that could have been salvaged. We spoke to the company about this on at least 5 different occasions and they kept telling us it was all packed. We knew it wasnt because some of the things we pulled out of the dumpster ourselves. After unpacking these things were not recovered and there were things missing that were costly. There was worked that was not completed. The floors were to be grouted and sealed but it was not done. The money paid by the insurance for the floors was supposed to be credited to my mom but they only credited her half the amount they collected. The same happened with the money allotted for a huge mural that had been hand painted. She received credit for only half the amount the insurance allotted. There were issues with the appliances that is too lengthy to go into here. I had a meeting with the company owner to discuss the work not completed and the missing items. He acted like it would all be taken care of and was very pleasant until he realized the final check would not be handed over until it was settled. He threatened my parents with a lien for non-payment. I was there to settle this and make sure final payment was made. I had the check with me and told him I would follow him to the office to sign it over once his company wrote a check to my mom. There was no reason for such threats. In the end they credited my parents $500, far less than should have been. I was then sent an email claiming they would send this to their attorney if not paid in 5 days. We paid the balance even though it was not earned because it is too much on my parents to continue to drag it out. She did not want to be harassed any longer. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone and especially anyone who is elderly and not able to stand up for themselves against aggressive measures.

    Broome Property Enterprises
Steve Broome was helpful and had ideas when he came to do an estimate. We had ordered all the supplies. The team headed up by Jon was there every day when they said they would be, worked hard, were polite, provided suggestions or asked for my input when needed, cleaned up after themselves, and even picked up supplies if necessary. When some of our supplies were late in arriving which held up the job, they agreed to do another job for us, tiling the patio, to stay busy until the tile arrived. They paid attention to details and it was obvious they were there to please us. They ended up making the transformation fun and not a horror to go through at about half the cost the decorator had estimated.

    Kitchen Crafters Inc
My husband and I contacted Kitchen Crafters after reading the great reviews on Angie's List. We wanted to redo all of the floors throughout the common areas of the house, update the powder bathroom and laundry room, and fully renovate the kitchen. Initially, we thought we would go with Home Depot or Lowe's, but after meeting with Jim for our first consultation, there was no doubt that Kitchen Crafters was the way to go. During our design meetings, Jim listened to our ideas and pictures we brought along that we liked. Jim has so much experience in the industry and came up with so many ideas that my husband and I would have never thought of without his help. It was really fun and easy to design our kitchen with Jim's help. He took us through each step of the design process and made sure that no stone was left unturned. We were also pleasantly surprised when Jim called us to see if we could start on the project much earlier than expected. When it came time to start the job, Jim worked with us to create a schedule that worked for us. We were open to having work done on evenings and weekends, which made the project go by even faster. It is very clear that Jim puts in careful planning and consideration with the scheduling of the jobs to ensure that there are no delays once the job begins. Throughout the entire process, Jim and his crew were professional, friendly, and completed amazing work. The crew was always very punctual and cleaned up after each and every day. Halfway through the project, Hurricane Irma made her way into Florida. The day after the storm (Tuesday), Jim and his crew were back to work and making up for the storm delays. As with any project, new things and changes can come up. Anytime we had an adjustment or change we wanted to make, Jim was always flexible and very accommodating. The only issue that occurred with our project was the incorrect color of the grout on our newly installed tile flooring. Through no fault of Kitchen Crafters, when the grout cured on the floor, the color was drastically different than the sample provided by the grout company. Jim went out of his way to contact the company and lobbied on our behalf to have the problem corrected. Jim partnered with the grout company to fix the problem at no additional cost to us. My husband and I cannot recommend Jim and Kitchen Crafters enough. Throughout the entire project, Jim and his crew were extremely nice and friendly and such a pleasure to work with. We felt like they were part of the family as we were going through the project together. We couldn't believe how quickly the project was finished, even with the hurricane delay. We are so thankful and happy that we found Jim and Kitchen Crafters. We absolutely love our "new home" and give them the highest recommendation! We will absolutely be using Kitchen Crafters in the future for any other remodel/renovation projects.

Leo's Fine Trim Inc & Handyman Svcs
Leo is a dream to work with. I gave him a written list of work items and walked him around the house to explain each one. He responded with a list of prices to perform each item. I authorized the work, he showed up on schedule and performed the work flawlessly with no supervision. When I added or changed the scope of work, he was able to adjust on the fly without any issues. My close friend, a state-licensed general contractor, was extremely impressed with Leo's work and plans to employ him for some sophisticated finish carpentry on a custom home.

    Jeremy Farris Handymen
Jeremy Farris arrived with one assistant to do the small drywall repair and any needed painting at 10:15 AM on June 7, 2017. My husband was there to let them into the house, which is pending for sale and empty at the moment. Jeremy Farris quoted that the work would all be done for $300. We thought it a bit expensive for a small job, but with the house sale/appraisal in a couple of weeks, we agreed for times sake. Unfortunately, my husband could not stay for the work because of other commitments and because we trusted the good ratings that we had read about his company on Angie's list. Just two and a half hours later, I got a text message from Jeremy Farris at 12:45 PM stating that all work was done. I thought to myself...."How could they have finished and textured drywall holes, allowed for dry time before painting, and then paint in just two and a half hours?". Well, I found out how they could do that when I went to inspect their work at 4:30 PM that same day. When I walked into the rooms, I was shocked. The entire outline of all four square holes were completely and clearly visible from every angle and from any distance. It was obvious that no taping had been used. And he had used the same exact drywall squares that the electricians left behind. Texture and paint had been applied, but the outline s of those square holes were not hidden at all. And, as I expected and had shared beforehand with Jeremy Farris, the ceiling paint we purchased to be used did not match the faded paint that had been on that ceiling for ten years. Instead of painting the whole ceiling so it would blend with the repaired area, Jeremy Farris just painted around the patch jobs, making the unsightly bad repairs stand out as if you were shining a flashlight on them. I wanted to cry! I sent pictures of the shoddy work and texted Jeremy Farris and expressed my displeasure of the poor quality and about how the square lines are clearly visible. The first words of his text response to me were "Well, they are repairs...and it's hard to match the texture,,,,and not having the paint match didn't help." When I later talked to him over the phone, I asked him if he had used any drywall tape to hide the lines. He responded, "You don't use tape on lines in the ceiling. And he also said that "It looked fine when we left, I guess the paint {filling in the cracks of the squares] dried...." So he used nothing to fill/cover the lines except paint! I can assure you, it did not look fine when I arrived only three hours later. He saw that the paint didn't match but didn't bother to paint the ceilings as I had stated in a text to him might need to be done. If he saw the paint "didn't help", why didn't he at least call me instead of leaving the job at 12:45 with $300 in his pocket?? Mind you, my husband made a huge mistake in paying up front, and he is still in a self-imposed dog house about that, but we trusted the Angie's List reviews. from all of our previous, positive Angies's List experiences. After our experience this time, we cannot believe that this Jeremy Farris Handymen company is the same one getting good reviews. He offered to come back and "try" to make it look better, but that, I quote, " it's very hard to match that texture and was worried about it looking worse trying to match it." Really?? This is the common orange peel texture found in thousands of homes. And then, at this point, he actually offered (Yes, he did!!) to give us an additional quote to paint the ceiling!!

    Premier Remodeling Services
Excellent job by an excellent company. We are so appreciative of Geoff's personal interest in the work to be done and in our needs. The locations for the solar tubes were identified. The (2) 10" straight solar tubes were provided and installed. The roof penetrations were performed and sealed. Drywall repairs were done and disposal and clean up were done as well. We are extremely pleased.
