    Car Accident
Car accident happen almost 2 years ago May 2014. Dale hired in June, and never once met the client. Client was rear ended by truck and suffered spinal and brain injuries. Lost job and can't work. Still under Dr care and on disability. Dale was obnoxious on the phone and never once offered to meet. Client had to collect all info and correct Dale's offer to settle that went to insurance company. Fired Dale after 18 months of him doing nothing. He wants to do a quick settlement for minimum dollars and do no work. Don't hire him. Find an aggressive TRIAL attorney. Dale is not. How can you be an professional and never once meet your client in 18 months. Also, the client's insurance company said he never once contacted them. What's up Dale? Your incompetency has cost someone their life.

Counseling with Mark Smith is very effective. He peels back the layers of the onion until you see yourself and your marriage for what it truly is. At first it is so painful that you want to discredit him but as the sessions go along you start to realize he is on to what has been causing so much pain and chaos in you life and marriage. He takes you back to your childhood which is where most of your dysfunction originates. Then he gives you a whole new paradigm in order to look at you marriage in a new light. His belief is that marriage is designed to break you down forcing you to work on you dysfunctions created in early childhood. This has been very effective for me.

From making an appointment that fit my schedule to the appointment itself I was very pleased with my experience.  We got there for the appointment and were immediately seen.  Heather has a fantastic personality and really listened to the issues being faced.  The only negative is that the Center does not file with the insurance company you have to file for reimbursement yourself.  I would definitely recommend them for any counseling needed.

See the description of the intereaction: Not individualed but 'cookie cutter". No recommendations of obtaining the history or healthcare of the patient from the medical providers. Much assumption on the part of the counselor. It was never explained to us WHO she consulted with or if medical personnel were even involved. our other place we consulted spent three times more time with the paitent and involved physicians and incorporated the overall plan and past medical history. I would never recommend Fairbanks particularly where a patient has serious surgical/medical or pain history.

This woman was just what I needed - have been seeing her every two or three weeks for maybe four months - she takes in a lot of history to start out and then you both use that to pull out certain events or circumstances that are affecting you. She leads you to different perspectives, with sometimes small "assignments" you can try to work thru between visits - but with no pressure on you. The way she works continues to be a very good, helpful experience for me, to improve my outlook and see how I can help myself. Q

We waited several hours past his appointment time. Once seen Dr. Jones reviewed his current medication and identified drug interactions. Having medical knowledge, I asked about said interactions, Dr. Jones could not answer me. He went on to prescribe a controlled substance at a high dose. When I attempted to suggest that it was a high dose, that we should possibly start at a lower dose and increase, he became irate. At that point he closed my file and suggested we may wish to go elsewhere for treatment. I accepted his invitation to seek treatment elsewhere. I returned to his staff and let them know that I would not be returning. That is where I was confronted by Dr. Jones again and told that if I didn't leave, he would "help you leave boy.

Overall, I'm pleased with this provider.
His availability is pretty good. Any time I've ever needed a last-minute appointment to correct a medication issue/reaction, his office has been accommodating.
Puncutality is not a strong suit for him, unfortunately. He doesn't rush through sessions and wants to be thorough when he's with you, so he has the tendency to go over. I'd like for his office to schedule more time in between appointments so the appointment time and the time you actually get in to see him reconcile. I've had appointments scheduled for first thing in the morning and late in the afternoon, and I haven't been able to find a happy medium. He's pretty much always running behind.
His bedside manner, however, makes up for the lack of punctuality. Again, he doesn't rush through sessions and wants to give ample time to discuss concerns, how medication is working for you, address any questions or issues you may have, etc. There have even been times I've used him as a pseudo-shrink and unloaded on him (oops!) but he's pretty patient and just lets you get through it. Maybe it helps him with the diagnoses, who knows.
The staff is very friendly and outgoing. I've never had any issues with the girls working there. They're nice. Never had a problem with billing or administrative issues.
The treatment is effective. If something isn't working, he works to find alternative treatments. If something works well, he'll keep you on the treatment until you alert him otherwise. He won't change it up just because a drug company came in and offered some kickbacks in exchange for pushing the new stuff. If it works, he sticks with it. If not, he finds something that will. I'm pleased with Dr. Beltran.

Our second appointment was better than the first one. What I can say about Dr. Saks is that she is an intelligent, accomplished doctor who knows exactly what she is doing. I first started the session by describing what was going on with me while she listened. It was incredible to me how quickly she decided what to do and what new meds. to try. I'm not used to that. I guess I have never experienced the caliber of an exemplary doctor.
What a difference knowing that I am in good hands with someone that knows what she is doing and seems to genuinely care about my well-being instead of being with a doctor that is influenced by how much money he is making and how his patients rate him so that he can make even more money I suppose. What a shame and a scam of a man!
    But I'm happy now.
    Happy Holidays!
Mine will be. I will finally be okay and people won't be whispering to my husband, 'What kind of mood is she in today?

She is very intuitive and will work with you.  I need to figure out I want to do when I grow up.  I wanted to take 2 career oriented tests and she recommended them.  I am going to take the tests and send them to her.  She will analyze my results and we will discuss it.  I've recommended her to others and she has been amazing.  You don't need to keep going back to her, she tries to help resolve your issues in one session.  She is ALWAYS punctual.

I think one of the best things is that he treats the patient and not just the numbers he gets from blood work. My wife has high numbers and most people would be in the hospital but she can run on those numbers and he understands that. He is also the neurologist for the Tampa Bay Rays.
