We are an estabilished full service Design Build General Contractor. For over 50 years we have serviced the Tampa Bay area doing remodeling of all kinds-kitchens, bathrooms and master suites. Additions-one story and multi-story both block and frame construction. We also do consulting for those special and difficult projects. Barger Design Builders takes pride in self performing some tasks but rely heavily on qualified licensed and insured subcontractors. We are happy to give free guestimates if there are no plans and hard estimates and quotes if there are plans....

This rather large project took somewhat longer to complete than I had anticipated. Some of the delays were the natural consequence of scheduling certain subcontractors while other delays appeared to be caused by having the "company" men on other company projects. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This was essentially a top-to-bottom rennovation of our residence. The kitchen, all bathrooms, and the flooring in the downstairs area were brought to 3rd millenium standards. Additionally, significant exterior rehab was accomplished. Interior and exterior painting was also done.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The first job was to totally remodel the kitchen in 2006, which included taking out a wall to join two areas. We replaced cabinets, installed granite, new lighting, with a few moderate changes to the footprint of the old kitchen, adding a pantry and an office area. The last job was 11/20/2008 to totally remodel the master bathroom. I have also called on them to provide outside services, such as stucco repair and exterior painting. Currently I have used them to find a responsible roofing company and to get the interior of my house painted.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
John Barger was professional and reliable. I hired him to come do a full house inspection and contract work (wall repair, electrical, etc). He and those who worked for him were very knowledgable. I felt I could trust them with my home, which is a rare thing in my opinion. I would use Barger Builders in the future.
