Late for work. Unprepared for project. Did not put down drop cloth or tape off door . Door still needs cleanup. Great potential with quality if they go to do a job and get it finished Put your quote in writing.

    Boss Design Center
Talha at his workers at Boss Design Center were very supportive from the beginning of our complete home remodeling that was done few months ago and completed last week. Talha was very skilled, communicative and perfectionist during the entire remodeling stages which was great to see as a clients. We started our relationship after we talked to 5 other construction companies that came over to our house in order to provide us with a quote for the work. Some of them gave us a high estimate and a long time of work but Talhas quote was within our budget and with a good time frame that seemed to be reasonable for us. We got amazed at how skilled, experienced and truthful he was and how he was willing to take the time and to explain us each and every step of the remodeling process. We strongly recommend hiring and working with Boss Design Center. We will absolutely hire them again and refer them to anyone who is in a need for any type of home remodeling.

    Wilson Painting and Contracting
DO NOT hire this painter, even if you are limited on options! We hired Phil Wilson to paint several rooms in our brand new home back in late March. He started the project 2 days late. He originally quoted it to be a 2 day project and it turned into a 4 day project. I met him at the house to review the work and to pay him at the end. I noticed paint shavings all over the tile surrounding the walls. He and his helper cleaned it up when asked. His helper at the time was painting the stairwell leading to the upstairs as I was inspecting the downstairs. Everything else looked fine at the time. I paid him. As his helper was finishing up the stairwell, he removed the covering and I noticed there was blue paint on several spots on the carpet. Phil already left to go cash the check. I stayed at the house until he returned and showed him. He said he would get goo gone and that should take it off. He applied the goo gone and it did not take it off. Later on that evening, my wife went to the house and noticed there was blue paint on our brand new tan couch. The nearest wall that had blue paint was 18 feet away. Later on Phil said that the house was supposed to be empty. This couch was sitting in the middle of the room. A professional painter of 35 years cannot navigate around a couch in the middle of a big room? After a few days of going back and forth he said that his friend owns a carpet business and he will have him come out and replace the carpet at his expense and he will pay for the cleaning of the couch. I called out Stanley Steamer and they were not able to get the paint out of the couch. Luckily they did not charge me for that as Phil stopped answering my phone calls after Stanley Steamer came out. In one of our phone calls after the project was completed, he advised me that he would have a quick resolution on the issues. About 2 weeks later, I receive a letter stating that he is going to issue me a refund for the costs of the labor within the next 45 days. After patiently waiting for 45 days, I did not receive my refund. I tried calling him several times and he blocked my number on his cell phone and would not answer or return any of my calls or messages. I had to call the St Cloud Chamber of Commerce and asked them to call him on my behalf and he picked up immediately and informed them that he will not answer any of my calls. I then got a letter in the mail 2 days later advising me that I would get the refund by June 30th. It was roughly 2 weeks away. I did not receive the refund by June 30th. I called him and he did not answer. My sister got through to his wife that evening and she sternly told her to stop calling and harassing them and that they would call the cops. All we wanted was the money that was rightfully ours. 10 days later, we get a letter in the mail from him again with a money order for less than half the amount. He said that he will send the rest of the money shortly. We then corresponded through email over the course of the next 2 months and he kept saying that he would issue the remaining part of the refund soon. His last email communication was in mid-September and he did not specify a date. In mid-October, I had to hire a lawyer to try to get a hold of him. I tried cashing the first money order at my bank on Nov 2nd only to find out that he did not properly sign the check. He wrote "1/2 refund" on the signature line. He finally sent the remaining payment on 11/03. I found the letter with the money order for the remaining part of the refund minus $50 which he said was for "handling, processing, paperwork, estimate and contract packages etc and my time spent handling this..." He also said it was standard procedure. When we first hired him, there was no mention of any of these charges. I cashed the first money order at Amscot after explaining to them the situation. It took 7 months for this to be resolved. DO NOT HIRE HIM! Spend your money elsewhere! He is beyond unprofessional.

The painter was a no call no show. When I called him he said he could not possibly do the job for this price. This is a written contract and he is in breach of a written, legal document. He should be removed from Angie's list. I am removing my name from the list and will never use this service again, thanks to the terrible business ethics of this painter.

    Broome Property Enterprises
David Broome answered first call quickly, came out and measured and discussed work to be done, said he would have a quote for work in a week. We tried to call Mr. Broome multiple time, he never responded, we never received a quote. If he did not want to do the work, he should have been professional enough to let us know, waiting for a response delayed us getting started on our work.

The experience was awful. The provider did not complete the job as specified. He was not reliable nor was he punctual. We had agreed upon pricing for an extra project he was getting a contractor to do for me since he specified that he was unable to do the job once he came and saw the work that needed to be completed.
Once the extra project was finished by the contractors, he then gave me a napkin that had the prince of $800 written on it. I then brought up the text messages that we had sent to one another that specified the extra project was only going to be $200.
The provider then became very upset because I had refused to pay the up charge, since it was not the price we had originally agreed upon. The situation escalated to the point that I had to contact my local law enforcement because he threatened to vandalize my property if I did not pay him the inflated amount.
Overall, it was a terrible experience. With being home alone and a single mother it was a very scary situation for me.

    Broome Property Enterprises
After a free estimate, Broome Property Enterprises quoted me a fair price and said it would take 2 days to complete the work, which I thought was more than reasonable.  Even after adding on the task of repainting the room, it only took them one day to do the job.  They did great work and were very professional, cleaning up after they were finished.  I really appreciated their hustle and the quality of their work.  I highly recommend them, and I will be keeping their number handy for any future work that I need to have done.

    Louis Painting & Pressure Cleaning
They did a great job painting and were very professional.  Larry came out to my home and provided me with an estimate which was great.  He patched up a few large holes in my walls and left the rooms clean and neat.

They did a terrible job. Everything had to be redone that they did. It was all charged to our insurance company. Our insurance company recommended this Quality First Builders and then Quality First Builders had subcontracted it with these other people. They cut our door jambs apparently. I don't know if that's for sure or not, but the insurance company had to replace all the door jambs. They just did such a bad job that the insurance company had to get us new door jambs. They did a tile job because our house had gotten flooded. They had to come back numerous times to redo stuff. Responsiveness wasn't that bad. They come and would leave at 12 o'clock and then come back the next day. We had issues and they sent somebody over who was fantastic.

    Richard Hamilton's Painting/Drywall
Richard came out to my home on Thursday and on Friday he was here to paint interior doors and the trim in 3 rooms. He also painted the metal doors on my closets and they turned out fabulous! Sorry I have nothing left to paint! GOOD JOB!
We had used Richard previously to paint our living room and kitchen and were very happy with the job.
