installation okay. service terrible. have bought two systems from them within a 3 year period. first had problems next day and their tech had not gotten the Freon balance right. they charged me a service call. other unit installed okay. didnt last 2 years before it went out. would not honor warranty, told me to find another company to do it. terrible way to treat a repeat customer. will be needing another unit shortly but surely will not call them. sad

    Aurora Air Inc
To me Aurora Air is number one, they gave me a quote a date and time and also helped with the finance of the project and stuck to this no changes or delays. Aurora sent 2 techs, Edwin and Jean and they were very professional, they made sure everything was working and explained everything they had done to me and cleaned up before they had me sign off on the project. My neighbor was having problems with his air-condition and was calling around for service and was getting the run around, I told him to call Aurora Air and they took care of his problem right away. His unit was the same as mine, 15 years old, he was so satisfied with the service from Aurora Air that he had the old unit replaced and is very happy and thanks me every time he sees me. It took this long to post my review because my PC hard drive died, had to wait until repaired.

All Temp AC & Refrigeration LLC
A couple or 3 years back, a pair of dogs chased a cat under my mobil home and the cat went places the dogs could not go without destroying the AC flexible duct work. I paid to have all the ductwork under house replaced. Within a year (unknown exact day) the pressure side of the flex duct came loose from the AC unit. I paid to have it repaired. now a few months later after several notices from the power co that excessive power was being used. We found that the flex duct had come loose from the AC unit again. No animal activity has been evident and there is no claw or teeth marks on the loose duct, yet the repair is being charged as if some animal is smart enough to go under the house and pull that duct loose just off the AC unit and not disturb the adjacent low pressure line or high pressure line from there to the up lines at all.. gerryidler@embarqmail.com

All Temp AC & Refrigeration LLC
It was terrible. The owner tried to reuse parts from the old unit. The new unit broke down 3 times within the first year. The owner lied about sending service techs. They charged me for a reusable filter that I never received. They never filed a permit to do the installation. One of their techs stole one of my flashlights when he showed up to my house without one, then refused to fix the unit because of how much was wrong with it. They installed a Schrader valve into one of the lines and did such a poor job that it leaked puron non-stop and had to keep being refilled. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. EVER.

    A Breath Of Fresh Aire
Ken advised we had mold spores so he cleaned the air ducts, then sanitized. He installed a ultra violet light in the air handler unit to continue killing any possible future spores. Ken explained every step he completed. Very professional.

North Pole A/C & Heating Services, Inc.
Usually dont bother doing Reviews, but North Pole Air, especially the owner, Lisandro, deserves some accolades. He and his technicians are genuinely nice people that bend over backwards to give you an outstanding experience and make sure you are happy and comfortable with the temperature in your home. I had both of the coils on my upstairs and downstairs units need replacement due to corrosion and leaking. He knew exactly how to minimize the costs for me, get everything handled under the warrantee, and took care of all of the paperwork and running around for me. He never pressured me to buy anything or spend any more money than absolutely necessary. VERY refreshing! And here was the big thing, he figured out that the builder of my home had screwed up and not put the proper venting in the attic, not only causing the premature deterioration of my coils, but affecting the comfort level in my upstairs. Units had to run way more than they should. He created custom designed venting for my closed-system, insulated attic, super inexpensively. Now my upstairs is WAY more comfortable and the units dont have to work as hard. He hooked me up like a good friend! Its hard to find good people like that. And thats why Im writing.

Good Air Refrigeration - AC & Refigeration
Determined it was low on refrigerant. Refilled. Price: $557. However, one week later, the AC unit malfunctioned again. Came back out and determined that my unit was leaking and would need to be replaced.

    Above & Beyond A/C & Heat
David and Marty showed up on time, as was very courteous, took them around 15 minutes to find out the issue. They got right down to business and told me price and went to pick up part to install. Very efficient and gave some recommendations for the future, they give free estimates if needed. I will hire them to come maintain my A/C unit for now on, no pressure to buy any unnecessary items.

    Central Air Service
The whole process was a breeze from start to finish. The customer service/scheduler was very polite and professional. Tech was on time to diagnose the problem. They ordered the part and he came and installed it in 15 minutes. He showed me what had gone wrong in the broken part, and told me what to listen for if it happens again on our 2nd unit.

North Pole A/C & Heating Services, Inc.
Bought service contracts, Lisandro came out said systems needed about 7 lbs of refrigerant, he replaced, supposedly gave us a discount because we bought the service contracts. After checking the system he said not one but both coils were corroded and leaking so he said he could submit our system info and get the parts via the warranty and replace them for another $600-700 labor. We signed the paperwork and the work would be done the next week. The next day I happened to have a client at work who is a HVAC repair man, I told him about the exchange the day before and he told me to immediately call and cancel the work and get a 2nd opinion. He said it was highly unusual 2 systems coils would be bad at the same time especially in a system less than 3 yrs old. We called Lisandro at North Pole and told him we did not want warranty work, We got a 2nd opinion and with ACE solves it all, the repairmand said the systems had been overfilled by about 4 lbs and he corrected this. He said the coils are corroded but should last another few years, however overfilling the system can cause leaks. My husband called Lisandro back and demanded a refund, Lisandro came out sticking to his original estimate/story he came to "show" my husband the system was in need of coils and that he did not overfill it. He was very sincere about his honesty, producing pictures of the coils etc and so we agreed to keep the service contract and if the system needed repair we would call. I called him back today and his number is disconnected. Sadly we wanted to trust him but I guess he got the last laugh on us. Beware of Lisandro Fernandez working on HVAC
