    1st Class Moving and Storage
This is the second time we hired 1st Class to move us. They are fantastic: careful with our belongings, arrive on time, hard working crew and on-point with their estimates. Do not hesitate to contact them for your moving needs. They also come in at the very best price. We packed, they loaded the truck, unloaded the truck and put together a few pieces of furniture like our beds. They accomplished it in one day.

    On Time Moving & Storage
The move went smooth. They showed up in a huge truck. The crew was very good and helpful. They never asked for a deposit and were by far the most detailed. Their estimator was the best for sure. I moved to CO with no problems or damages. Would highly recommend

We bought an over-sized living room set that it turned out wouldn't fit through our entry doors. We found this out as these guys tried every possible way to make it work. It didn't, but they didn't quit. They came back a second time. This time they went in through a small second-story balcony, had the railing removed, and used their pick-up truck as the 'launching pad'. Besides going the extra several miles to make this happen, they were on-time, courteous, professional, clean and extremely respectful of our items and property. As far as pricing, they didn't charge for their first time out, and upon success, charged an extremely reasonable rate to make this happen with four guys and a truck. Id recommend them for any size or type of move.

Best moving experience to date. Carlos, Lawrence and I believe Taylor were very professional very punctual with no issues at all. Everything was moved very efficiently. They didnt waste any time even though they were getting paid by the hour. Finished it way faster than I assumed. Would highly recommend them!

    Baymeadows Moving & Storage
I hired this moving company on the recommendation of a friend who had used them in the past. They were scheduled to arrive between 12-1, and didn't arrive until almost 2pm. This was not a huge deal, as Im a reasonable person who understands that things dont always go as planned, and previous jobs sometimes take longer than expected. Upon arrival, they had me show them what needed to be moved, which consisted of the furniture ONLY in 2 bedrooms. I hired 2 movers for 2 hours at $110/hr plus $110 for the truck they used for the move. I figured it would be no problem moving 2 bedrooms to a location less than 20 miles away in 2, maybe 3 hours with 2 guys. Everything seemed to go well at first, until I went upstairs and when I came back down saw there was a chunk of drywall missing from the corner of the wall at the bottom of the stairs. I pointed it out to one of the movers, and he went to talk to the other one about it. I was under the impression they were going to take a photo, maybe to have it repaired, but I didnt waste any more time on it and went back to packing things downstairs. They were moving right along until they got to an armoire, which they couldn't figure out how to get around the corner at the bottom of the stairs. It was also at this time that I realized they werent wrapping the furniture, which all moving companies I have hired in the past have done. After about 20 minutes of trying to get the piece down, they called someone and it sounded like one of them wanted him to come there. I am not sure who they called, but I was under the impression that it was a supervisor or the owner (I thought they said it was Mike). One of them wanted to wait for him, and the other said it would take 40 minutes and they didnt have that kind of time, so they continued trying to get the piece down the stairs. After about an hour of wrestling with it and arguing about what they needed to do, they decided to remove the doors to get it out. After this incident, they were clearly unhappy with each other and didnt seem to work well together, which I also feel slowed things down a bit. I left ahead of them to go and get the new house opened up and ready for them. Right before I left, they came out and told me they had broken a vase that was near the door. At this point, I just wanted to get the move completed and told them not to worry about it. Once they arrived at the new place, they moved everything in pretty quickly. They had propped up the mirror for my dresser against a wall, and while they were setting up other furniture, the mirror fell flat on the floor, but luckily had no damage. Other than this, everything went smoothly setting up at the new place. I signed the paperwork saying the job had been completed and paid for the job. I told them not to worry about the drywall on the corner of the stairs, that we would patch it ourselves. Once I went back over to the old place to get some more boxes, I saw where there were SEVERAL significant dents in the drywall near the bottom of the stairs, which is where they had been struggling with the armoire. I also noticed that there was damage to 2 pieces of my furniture; one of my dressers had a gouge, and the one they wrestled with had damage near the feet. I was pretty upset, but there was nothing I could do at this point except repair all of the damage myself, as the house was under contract and there was no time. I did contact the company, and made them aware of it, but I never heard back from anyone about it. I thought someone would at least contact me to come and take a look at the damage. I also found that the movers had left some tools at my house, and let them know that as well, and asked that they arrange for them to be picked up. The guy who owned the tools called me and said he would call one day soon and pick them up, but I didnt hear back again. After about 2 weeks, I contacted them again to see if they were going to come and pick up the tools, and they did finally do it a couple of days later. Had the armoire not taken an hour to move, the move would've been completed faster and it wouldn't have cost me as much as it did. The entire move took 4 hours and cost me $550 for only the furniture in 2 bedrooms; I have hired moving companies before, and they moved my entire house for little more than that. I dont mind paying more if the service is good, because I do believe a lot of times you get what you pay for. This unfortunately was not the case. The soul purpose of me hiring a moving company was to prevent damage to my home and furniture. Regrettably, this company damaged both, and I wouldve probably been better off to do it myself. The bottom line is that I wouldnt hire this company in the future, as they were careless and unresponsive, and too expensive for the quality of work that I received.

    Big Boy Moving and Storage
I could not have been more pleased with Big Boy Moving and Storage. From the initial contact to the delivery, every person that we interacted with was fantastic. I've dealt with several moving companies over the years and bar none, they have been the best that I have ever done business with. They handled my belongings like their own, their staff was extremely professional and I could not have asked for a better company to do business with. I would most certainly use them in the future if I ever had the need for movers again!

Arthur Werner Moving & Storage Inc
They turned a highly stressful event as much as possible into a pleasant experience. They did not expect a deposit when the picked up our belongings. Only payment was made after everything was unloaded off their truck. They provided at no additional cost all the packaging paper, boxes, tape and blankets. They scheduled two days to pack but they adjusted their schedule adding a half day to accommodate our request to spend an extra night in our CT beds before departing for FL. The packing reschedule allow my wife and me along with our Black Lab/Border Collie dog Lucky to sleep in our own beds and avoid the hassle and expense of finding a dog friendly motel for an extra night. They scheduled their 1,000 mile trip to coincide with our drive south schedule. They departed CT and arrived at our new home in FL right on schedule. Unloading went as smoothly as could be expected considering we moved aver 300 boxes from a 2,500 sq ft, 10 room, 2 car garage with a 2,500 full size basement full of furniture, electronics, tools, laundry equipment, garden equipment, etc., into a 9 room, 3 car garage, hose with no basement. They easily handled the heavy items including a 3'x3'x4' 500 pound safe and a 3' circular 4' high kiln. shipping damage was very limited. A freezer chest and clothes dryer were slightly dented. One heavy decorative flower pot was broken. Minor items considering the scope of the job. We did not file a damage claim. There was a discrepancy in the billed amount vs. the not to exceed estimate quotation. We were dealing with the owner, Moti, did the original quotations and readily saw the billing discrepancy. He promptly issued a refund check.

Horrible. I had a pair of Beats headphones that had not been packed because my husband was going to bring them to me in our car and one of the movers picked them up and put them in their pocket and took them to their truck. When my husband asked for them, the guy said that he had packed them but my husband watched him the entire time and told him that he needed him to go to the truck and get them. We had to rent furniture while we waited over a month for them to bring our stuff to Florida. When they arrived, they said we owed $5440 which was double of the original bid of $2709. My husband had a cashiers check of $3700 which is what had been agreed upon. The guys call their bosses and the boss told them that we needed to put the rest on a credit card in order for them to give us our belongings. My husband refused as we did not have access to do that and it was against our contract agreement. The movers then left with our belongings and took them to CubeSmart storage. We argued with this company while sending them money every single month along with having to rent furniture at $600 per month until my husband lost his job in August. In October he finally got them to allow us our belongings, however when we went to Cubesmart, they hadnt received a release from from the movers. We called and contacted them constantly as did Cubesmart to get the release form. When they finally sent the release form, we find out that they had not been paying on the storage unit and our belongings were scheduled to be auctioned on January 11th despite the fact that we were sending them money to pay the storage unit. When we had first attempted to get our belongings they were $401 in arrears and by the time we were able to get them to send the release form, they were $798 in arrears and refused to pay any of it. In total, we ended up paying the moving company $6801 plus an additional $798 to the storage company on top of having to pay $3600 during that time to rent furniture. When we did finally get our belongings out of storage which they refused to deliver to us, we found many broken and some missing items. The truck had obviously been unloaded into the storage unit very haphazardly as there were boxes that were labeled very fragile, keep upright, dont set anything on top but were in the very back of the unit, upside down and on the bottom of many very heavy boxes. There was loose glass inside of the boxes and falling out everywhere.

Everything was smooth, the crew was very responsive and we were very happy with the result. They even said they would return with a truck to collect the cardboard and wrapping to use for other movers who were less fortunate.
