it was the one of the most unorganized projects that I have experienced. No communication seemed to be allowed or done between Homeowner and pool project manager. most issues could not get addressed or were major fixes because you could not get ahold of anyone to discuss. I am still having issues with correcting this pool. I am still paying other contractors money to fix several issues or bad quality that seemed to like to leave

Hired Waldhauer & Son they presented them well and after a few other inquires, I felt comfortable about this company. I am sorry to this, this was the biggest and most disappointing decision that I made. Company never would let you have a one and one contact with project manager, sales representative would state, I as home owner, micro-managed to much and thus far no concerns or problems were never addressed in timely manner for corrected measure to be taking. I will included pictures, they speak a thousand words. Remember, "Waterfall area" is/was in blueprint a complete "Tiled Wall" Company will fix all issues but at my expense! I will not allow any more financial gain to this Contractor. I tried to amend all issues and try to work together That is NOT in their " Contract"

Horrible. He did not pull a permit (my bad for not making sure he did) and his workers (he was never on-site for the work) installed the railing balusters with 5-1/4" spacing in between, when code is 4" (my bad for not noticing this before I paid him; my condo HOA board was kind enough to tell me weeks afterwards). Both before he did the work and after, he was incredibly difficult to get a hold of; now I regret that he did call me back to get the work. After leaving him several unanswered messages about the issue a week before a holiday weekend, including the last message where I told him I was going to leave a negative review on Angie's List, et al, he finally called me back. He was irate that I would bother him while he was out of town on vacation (it was a Tuesday, 6 days before the holiday), refused to talk to me about the issue, and said he would call me back the following Tuesday when he was back in the office. Oh, he also said he didn't care about my leaving him a bad review on Angie's List, and said that Angie's List is for "people like you". Surprisingly, he never called me back. I hired another contractor to replace/add railing balusters so that they would be code compliant. Do yourself a favor, even if you have to pay a bit more and wait a few more weeks, hire a reputable and decent contractor, not Don Baker Construction a/k/a GuttersPlus in St. Augustine.

    Northway's Contracting
As it should. Northway was quick to respond to my needs In pulling permits and getting jobs done. i am a stucco contractor here in St Johns County Florida and often times I run into situations where the work goes out of the scope of my trade. When it does I need someone that I can trust that can get to the job quickly so that I can continue with my work. other contractors i have tried have made my customers wait months with the stucco peeled off their walls. Brian's always right on time. The job is always cleaning the customers always happy.

The entire company has been attentive and professional; we are particularly pleased with the follow up by Tom Stuehler. Post moving day, we had some residual issues that needed to be attended to and he was all over them; always professional and respectful. We are very pleased and highly recommend this team to anyone building a house.

    Monty Anderson Construction Group
We signed a contract with Monty Anderson in Feb 2015 made all of our selections with a completion date of no less than 270 days. We made our specifications in March and made 0 change orders to the home.  The company did not break ground until July they only showed up once a week on average and usually one sub. In Jun of 2015 (16 Months after contract signing and the home only 60% complete). he requested another 100K over his already exorbitant fees and over budget project. He then abandoned the project. I Found a new general contractor who completed the project in 5 weeks on budget. Monty Anderson then placed a fraudulent lien on the property for work and materials he never delivered or completed.

    Aluminum Construction By Outley Inc
Quality of the work was excellent and price was very reasonable.  Workers were on time, efficient and neat, cleaned up at the end of each workday and did their best to minimize disruption.  The site foreman did a great job of making the design work on site, including recommending some changes that suited our needs better than the original design.  Very pleased with the finished product.  Only criticism is that getting the work scheduled after the deposit was paid took longer than it should have, and the office staff failed to respond to several phone calls and emails for a period of a couple weeks.  They were very apologetic when they did contact us though, and subsequently scheduled the work to start at our convenience.  Once the work was started, it proceeded quickly, with workers showing up on the job every work day - no jumping from job to job.  Overall, we're very satisfied, and would certainly recommend Outley to anyone considering a similar project.

Mr. Cooper is honest and fair, prompt and well versed in all aspects of construction.  He employs local craftsmen who have solid reputations and are fully compliant with all code and regulatory issues.  He is neat and leaves the work site clean and organized.

As a first time homeowner and single parent I was extremely nervous. Made all of my concerns a top priority for them. It wasnt a problem free process to say the least but each issue was immediately addressed and rectified.

Almost 1 year over contracted completion date, and our home is still not compete.  We finally fired them for incompetent project management and for hiring incompetent sub contractors.  Consistently indicated that work was being done on their project portal that we later found out was not even being done.  Now pursing legal recourses.

We ended up having to redo almost 50% of the stone work on the house, and a large portion of the woodwork.  The trim on all of the upstairs windows bows out horizontally because the windows weren't properly braced when the stone was applied around them. The downstairs had to be extensively re-spackled and repainted due to shoddy work.  The upstairs half bath called for a wall mounted sink, but was not reinforced properly to support one.  The hot water radiant heat boiler was improperly plumbed and had to be redone, there was no power installed for the range hood nor the blower for the hood, the dryer exhaust was not to code and is being redone, the water meter was installed inside the utility room and had to be moved outside the house per code.  The auxiliary heat pump was installed without a thermostat or external control.  The air conditioning compressor was improperly sized. The electrical service was placed on the front side of the house, ruining the drive up appeal of the home (we were never asked about the location by the contractor before it was placed, just told that if they had put it somewhere else it would have "cost us an additional $10,000", which we would have gladly paid to not have the front of our house esthetically ruined).

The aforementioned are but a sample of the numerous corrective actions that we've had to take to get our home to the point that it will pass code and the inspection for our lender.

We've had comments from multiple of the sub contractors who are helping us fix this mess that it is one of the poorest jobs that they have seen in their respective careers.

Despite comments to the contrary by our former general contractor to this posting, we have had successfully other homes built for us and never had anything close to this terrible an experience.
