Overall the service was excellent. The entire staff was friendly and knowledgable. In all aspects the most important objective was to do it right the first time. Very impressed with their crew. Extremely polite, knowledgable and made every effort to minimize any evidence that they were there. I highly recommend them to anyone needing stucco work and would definitely hire again.

The job went very well. These guys know what they are doing. The job was done with finesse as there were lots of trees that needed to be avoided. The Operator of the machine was excellent. Bonnie in the office could not have been better. Jim Hicks contacted me during the process to ask about removing a concrete slab.  I would highly recommend this organization for trucking and demolition.

He was very responsive and professional. However, we weren't happy with his work. His employees splattered concrete primer on all my woodwork, walls and kitchen cabinets. They used a self leveling concrete product, but skim coated it on the floor. This only made the high spots higher and left the low spots still lower than the rest of the floor. When we called him back the next day to correct the problem, he did the exact same thing and then dumped excess leveler in areas that were already way too high. At that point, my husband just asked him to stop. We ended up having to get more leveler and a concrete grinder to fix the work that he did. I would not hire him to level your floor. If you just want someone to skim coat your floor, then go ahead.

In regards to the contractor response, we hired him to flatten the floor, not skim coat it. His workers just skim coated it. There is a big difference in flattening and skim coating.  He and his workers did not scrap the floor. My husband and I did that ahead of time as well as filled in the the seams which he said was prepped perfectly.  From a cosmetic standpoint, yes the floor looked better. It wasn't bare concrete and no longer was dusty. However, it was not flattened anywhere close to what would need to be done to lay hardwood floors. We expected him to use some sort of screed or board to flatten the floor. We still had 1/4 inch drops in places which were magnified because he poured more leveler on the high spots when he came the following day. We weren't expecting perfection, but Wade assured us that he would get the floor within the proper specs to be able to lay the hardwood. My husband and I both are experienced in putting down hardwood and tile, but simply thought it would be faster to hire someone to flatten the floor. We thought we were extremely clear with Wade what we needed and he repeatedly told my husband he understood.  We had no complaints about rolling on the primer so that the leveler would bond to the concrete, but I would have preferred that it wasn't splattered all over my fridge, door jambs, cabinets and walls. The amount we paid was for work only since we paid separately for the materials. We have paid double that cost in more leveler and rental for a grinder.  We NEVER expected perfection. We expected he would get the floor to within the specs he stated he would. He didn't come close. Like I said before, he and his crew were very nice and professional. Again, if you want to get your floor skim coated, he would do a good job. If you want it flattened in preparation for hardwood floors, I would not hire him.

If you are in need of foundation correction, this is the company. We owns house that has been in the family for decades. My mother had a local and quot;well knownand quot; company make foundation corrections a few years ago before she passed. She was told that the repairs were permanent and all would be well. We noticed severe issues and called in several companies to bid. The house foundation was had not been repaired correctly and the house was at least 3 inches off in some areas. After reviewing each company, we chose Hygema because their bid was the most complete, timely and neither the highest or the lowest. Once we accepted their estimate we agreed on the date the work would commence. Hygema's workers showed up exactly as scheduled. They showed up every day to work. The work was completed exactly as promised. The quality of the work is top notch. Not only was it completed ON TIME as specified, Hygema's workers kept the site clean and picked up after the job was done. We didn't have to spend weeks picking up the debris. On top of that, Hygema's final bill came in slightly under the estimate. Finally, Hygema didn't require payment until after the final inspection from the City building inspector. They didn't demand a deposit and a draw like most companies do.
Hygema earned this review. It's been a long time since I've been impressed by a contractor of any type. Hygema really does business well!

They broke one of the pipes for the sprinkler system, but they came back later and repaired it.
