Appliance Repair reviews in Safety Harbor

Capital Appliance & A/C Co Inc
Company was very responsive and called within minutes of our request. Their service technician (James) came out the next day to have a look, It was determined that the blower motor for the refrigerator was almost dead. He was able to locate a part in Orlando and drove the same day to pick it up, return to us and replace it. I can't speak highly enough about their service and professionalism and would call them for any future appliance needs. Great group.

Diagnosed and ordered part. Then, said he could not get old filter holder out, so he only charged for one service call and returned the filter holder. Later, called another appliance repair service and they were able to remove the old filter holder and install a new filter holder.

A Arnie's Dependable Appliance Repair Service Inc
They ordered the right filter holder, and had the correct filter. He had to install the holder slightly different than originally installed, due to the bypass reducing the length of the water lines. It took him some time, but he completed the job, and we have filtered water and ice now. They got the part promptly and installed promptly. Two visits, one to diagnose and one to install. Cost of service included $50 cost of filter.

    Sears Appliance Repair
The technician was quickly able to determine the correct part to replace the old one (the manual had it wrong), and he had the part on his truck. He worked carefully and quickly. There is a 90-day guarantee on the new part and repair. I have always trusted Sears to provide good people. The only drawback is the cost, but I would rather pay more and have it done right than have to deal with some local guy who only thinks he knows what he's doing.

    Scotto Plumbing Services Inc
Great, they were in and out in less than an hour. Guys were really nice and even though there was a slight misunderstanding on the work order, they were more than happy to take care of what was originally honored.

A worker came for a service call and correctly analyzed that we needed to replace the water filter holder. The company ordered one and it came in a few days. The worker returned and discovered that the old filter holder could not be removed without damaging the fridge, and was bypassed, so they only billed me for a single service call. Did not charge for the filter holder. I think there is a way to fix it, so I may contact someone else.

    Better Homes Appliance Service Inc
The service man was very polite and professional. He showed where an ice dam had built up in the wall of the refrigerator, blocking air flow from the freezer to refrigerator. He told us we had to defrost both the refrigerator and freezer for 3 days, until completely defrosted. But he couldn't provide any suggestions on what caused this problem in the first place. Needless to say, we are keeping an eye on the air flow box to make sure it doesn't get blocked with ice again. (It's next to a drawer and difficult to see.)

    Mr Rogers Appliances of Tampa
The technician was prompt, quickly identified the problem, was friendly, and advised me regarding how to prevent the problem from happening again. Luckily it didn't necessitate disassembling the agitator. All it cost was the Angie's price for the service call.

    Aircom
That did not work out so good.  I think they got it running, but I had to have someone else come out, so I don't use Aircom anymore, I won't use Aircom anymore. Maybe they are good now, but I am using somebody else. I am going to be nice. They got the thing working, I just had to have it redone. Basically what they did, had to be redone. At the time they were excellent. They were punctual too. I wouldn't bother. I can't remember if it was one or two workers. It took hours, more than half a day, I think. That was fine. They got it running, when it acted up again. I had someone else come in, and they showed me what was wrong, that they didn't do it right, and they explained it to me. I am not an AC guy, but they explained it to me, and they fixed it. Maybe the guy was having a bad day. I want to hear from them. because if I hear from them, I am going to raise hell. I am being straight, I was not happy about it. Its been years, and move on. If I hear from them, you will hear from me. I am just telling you what happened, and you called me. Maybe he had an bad day, who knows.

    BAY AREA APPLIANCE SVC SALES
Very unprofessional and rude technician. Told my wife she didn't know what she was talking about and actually told her to shut up. She was trying to explain the symptoms and intermittent operation of the stove. Absolutely no reason to treat a customer in this manner.
