Health First has several Medicare Advantage plans with varying premiums and copay schedules and include the Part D drug coverage. You can check their website for details, but I would VERY HIGHLY recommend Helath First.

The policy is incredibly expensive (of course it's not a group policy) and I do have pre-existing conditions. I also have to meet an incredible deductible before anything is covered. They also feel like there are far too many loopholes in the company's favor. I'm really stuck in this policy or I would have likely moved long ago. When something catastrophic happens I will say the coverage overall has been solid but it's unfortunately it takes something catastrophic. My interactions with customer service however have been excellent. They are careful to explain things and answer my questions fully. I never feel kicked off and they will review things until I completely understand. They have also alerted me to benefits I wasn't aware I had that helped offset some issues in the prescription plan. The customer service is a high point of my interaction with UHC.

Pharmacist decided I did not need as much medication (quantity) as allergist prescribed.  Did not fill prescription completely.  When I realized it, I returned and he yelled at the clerk that I don't need it and my insurance won't pay for it.  The clerk returned to me, apologized, and told me she had already called and knew the insurance company would pay for it.
He filled the prescription, but told me he wouldn't do it again.  The medication was Epi-pens.  Nothing narcotic.

When I started having these flush outs, and the blood pressure got really high, I was falling. The lady at the hospital said that if I had to get up to go to the bathroom or anything, I shouldn't go by myself as I might fall and hurt myself. She said I should have someone to assist me all the time. When I needed to go to the restroom, I called for assistance and this young girl came in. She told me to go ahead and walk to the restroom. I told her that I was supposed to be having an assistant, and she told me to go on ahead and that she would follow me. She wouldn't even hold on to me and she followed me. Her attitude was to make me go ahead and do it myself. She had no idea, nor did she ask what my problem was, or what assistance I needed. She said that she thought that I could use the exercise. I just didn't like that they didn't let me leave the hospital and called in a guy who said I was sick in the head, which I wasn't. I wouldn't recommend them to friends or family. The professionalism of the girl was not professional. A professional would treat you, and not talk down to you. These people who are coming to your room are supposed to help you out. Their punctuality was really bad. I was ready to be released and was waiting to see the doctor to be released. They told me that he would be coming that night a nine o'clock or so after his office hours. I waited and waited, but he never showed up. The next day they said that he was unable to come the previous night and he would come that day. Nobody came in there and nobody told me that the doctor would not be coming. I sat up till 10 o'clock, just waiting for him. The next time I had to go to a hospital, I told them not to take me there, to take me to a different hospital, and they did.

My husband had surgery at Wuesthoff about one month ago.  We were pleased with the professional nursing staff, and the outstanding surgical care.  We would definitely use this hospital again.

My last visit was to discuss my medication. The doctor Leslie was so kind and sensitive to my emotional condition. I first saw Deborah earlier this year, went in bawling my eyes out. She was like a mother to me. Told me I would be okay, blah blah and resolved my issues. I found out that she donates her time tending to the transients by going to them. She was honored in the Florida Today. Leslie saw me this month and she was awesome. I have never been to this place and found a wrong attitude. They go according to income. You provide all the information and you pay a percentage or maybe nothing.
