AJEFF VARNADOE PAINTING, INCJeff and his crew were great! Jeff arrived for the estimate on time and took his time to examine everything. He brought up things I would never had thought of. I had two other companies come out to give me an estimate and Jeff was the most detailed. I decided to hire him on the spot even though he quoted a little higher than the others. Pressure washing went well. They taped off all of my windows (even caulked them - other companies did not say they'd do). The whole process was a two day job. As they were painting he had questions and made sure we were both on the same page with how I wanted it done. He suggested we paint the window frames and I'm so glad he talked us into it because it makes the house look so much nicer. I'm the type of person that likes constant communication and his wife did a wonderful job emailing me back any time I had a question. This was our first time hiring someone to do exterior paint so I had a lot of questions. I would definitely hire them again!- Kristina R.

FDerman HomesSTAY AWAY!!!!! I hired Mark Derman to do a total home renovation. He seemed honest and competent. He told me he had a whole crew that would come in and get it done in a month. He had one guy that would show up every 3 or 4 weeks, work for about four hours then leave. I would pay Mark the contracted amount, he would do half the job and demand more money to complete it. He told me he needed more money because he said "I spent the money you gave me on another job, now I don't have the money to do your house." I told him he needed to finish the job I paid him for, he refused. Then he put a lien on my house!! My half finished house!! It is over a year later, Mark has been paid in full. He refuses to come back, and my house sits half finished. PLEASE PLEASE STAY AWAY!! He is a total shyster, liar and a scam artist!!!!!!!!!- Cory H.

ARC Painting & Decorative Coatings IncMy garage floor is beautiful thanks to RC Painting! Richard uses a multi-stage process including grinding the floor, two coats of paint, 55 pounds of paint flakes, and two coats of epoxy. The grinding stage was the most time intensive but crucial as paint prep always is. The job took about a week in total and then you wait a day or so before walking on the floor and 7-10 days before driving on it. I had the job completed two months ago and the floor looks like it was done yesterday. Because of the equipment, materials and labor required the process is not cheap; this is not a homeowner's do-it-yourself job with materials from a box store. RC Painting gives a 10-year warranty of their work. Highly recommend.- Judith D.

ARC Painting & Decorative Coatings IncHad a hard time getting the initial quote but the owner was having some medical issues. Once I gave them the go ahead, the work was performed on schedule. They were prompt and explained each part of the process. I need to wait 10 days before driving on it so I cannot say yet how well the paint withstands tire marks. Otherwise it looks very good.- Julia R.
