Urgent Care reviews in Riviera Beach

I was very happy with this facility and went to them the first day after Thanksgiving last year. They were very helpful but they realized I needed further care so they sent me to the emergency room. I have been to this facility twice. People can't go to there with severe trauma, but for anything less than severe trauma, they are very capable. The doctor, nurses and physician's assistants all have the same level of good bedside manner, experience and background. I am very comfortable in the doctor's hands; he seems like he has a lot of veteran experience. I had to wait a little bit; especially since it was right after a holiday; but it was not bad.

Hi, I called MedExpress this evening about 12 minutes before they closed at 8:48 pm, the person who answered the phone told me her name was Stacy when I prompted her. I asked them if they did stitches, Staci said yes, if the doctor felt it was necessary. I explained I had a huge gash in my knee that looked pretty serious and thought I needed stitches. I explained that I was about 15 or 20 minutes away and could she please ask the doctor if they would wait until I arrived. Staci said no. I asked if Staci could let me speak to the doctor, she said no. I again begged so someone else picked up the phone. I explained I had a $10,000 emergency room deductible and currently could not afford the emergency room and again pleaded if I got there at 9;05 would they wait to help me. The answer was no! However, they were more then pleased to provide me their corporate number when I asked so that I could complain. This was not a cold or the flue or something, I cut my knee open practically to the bone, an EMERGENCY. I have always had a $500 deductible policy that only this year I had to change to $10,000 deductible so emergency rooms are not in my budget. This company was only interested in helping me during their business hours emergency or not. In my opinion they should change their name to something other than "Urgent Care," their urgent care did not exist for me. I guess I am expecting to much. Personally. I'm still the guy who will stop and help someone out, most of us have become so heartless.

Generally speaking, all our experiences with MedExpress have been very positive. The doctors are good, overall, and the convenience of their times and the location makes it a very good option for us. The office is nice and comfortable, and billing has been smooth.

They are very professional and courteous. The facility is clean and brand new. You don't feel like you are in a low rate clinic. The image is of a high line doctor's office, but the pricing is much lower. I don't have health insurance so this is important. I was very happy.
