    They billed my insurance company about $3000 something for one quick breathing medication basically just an asthma inhaler and like five minutes with the doctor. Otherwise service was good I guess, except for the waiting six hours. The doctor I actually finally met with was great. They tried to get me to do x-rays which was completely pointless for a lung issue. They tried to give me some other medications I didn't want or need so what they finally ended up getting me was good.

    The heart wing seemed attentive and competent. It was discovered he had lung cancer while in the heart wing. They moved him to another area and disconnected him from the heart monitors. They did not notice he had a stroke while in the new section.
    The personnel left blood on the floor until we asked that the room be cleaned or have him moved to a new / clean room. We also had to ask for clean linens and proceeded to change the sheets also.
    When he rang for help they would not respond. He called us at home when he fell (from weakness due to the stroke) to call someone in the hospital to help him up off the floor. He ran for help and called out but no one would respond.
    He was in a room with a broken recliner. We finally had it replaced when we went to the patient advocate  (the second patient advocate - the first one was all talk and no action).
    When he developed C Diff while in there and had trouble making it to the restroom fully they were downright mean to him.
    I would not send a dying dog to this hospital. The staff is atrocious, uncaring and can not be bothered. The cleanliness is non existent.
    We are moving back to the area and I am searching for doctors and will only use doctors that do not use this facility.

    In general I didn't have a problem with them, but last year I had them all year. They were okay but I guess the reason I didn't fall in love with them is that when they told me I had pneumonia I saw a medical assistant who told me I'm not going to feel like myself but nothing else, she would not give me time off from work. I'm not going to say that they are bad, I'm just saying that I wish the woman was more considerate for me. I have an appointment for my yearly in a couple of days. I think over all that it's okay. But know your doctor. We need need to be much more critical when we choose a doctor comparing them to other people before we just go on with it. It's pleasant, it's nice.

    I was very pleased with the care I received at St. Joseph's Women's Hospital. My nurse navigator, Carol Pascal was awesome! She was there for me every step of the way from the pre admission process to discharge. By the time I left, I felt like she was an old friend. While at the hospital, I did not have any problems or concerns.

    As a veteran I get my services for free so that is why I go there; but overall I really do not care for the hospital. It is too crowded, old, and sometimes we have to wait weeks for an MRI or a CAT scan. The availability is not good; my husband has to go to the audiology clinic so he called 8 weeks ago and his appointment is in the middle of June. When we call them and leave messages, it takes them two or three weeks to call back. The treatment is effective if they get around to it.

    They are excellent. I recommend them. They are efficient and quick. They have everything that you need. Unlike in other doctors office where you need to wait for an hour or so they are punctual and billing is precise.
