Tire Buying And Repair reviews in Riverview

It was rather expensive. The oil changes are reasonable, it was the 65,000 mile service that was the sticker shock. They are reasonable. Since I have a Ford, I like them to have everything on file. If anything goes wrong, they know what is going on. If I ever went to another vehicle, traded it in, I can say, here are the service records, and hand them a file.

I waited there for my car to be done. We did not have to wait too long, it was only like an hour. I did not have an appointment. They did not try sell me to many extra things, and were not pushy. If there are any issues they will bring it to my attention.

My family and I have been taking our cars to Weaver's for many years now. I trust them implicitly. I had a problem with my Toyota several years ago, they could have made the repair and charged me, but they didn't; they recognized that it was covered under a recall (that I was unaware of) and suggested I take it to the dealership for repair. Hence, my trust in them.

Very responsive, very detailed. Almost to a fault, but others would appreciate it. Nice people. Pricing is OK...not cheap but not expensive....but the work is solid, which is what you want a mechanic.

    Hancock Tire & Auto Service
I was about to drive 1300 miles when I discovered a screw in one of my tires.  Lucky for me Hancock wasn't busy when I brought the car in.  I thought they would just remove the screw, "plug" it, and I would be on my way.  About ten minutes later the tech came out and informed me that it wasn't an issue at all.  The screw hadn't been long enough to cause any damage to the tire.  When the tech pulled the screw out the tire was fine.  You know, there are places that would of charged me for the service of just pulling the darn thing out or would of charged me saying they pulled it out and"plugged" the hole.  Hancock Tire didn't do either and I so appreciate the honesty.

Everyone else was quoting $2500.00-3500.00. Then I told them I want them to check the air conditioning as it is a necessity. He quoted a price of "worse case scenario" would be $1600.00. Comparitively with the other quotes I received, I basically received 4 tires free of charge. They are honest, friendly and will tell you exactly what is wrong. And tell you what it is going to cost. There is a comfortable place to wait if needed. They are very reasonably priced. They are also family owned and operated.

They were very nice and fast. I called another company after I got it done there and I was quoted a hundred dollars less. Overall it was a good experience. My breaks were sort of squeaking afterwards.

I went to Courtesy Toyota on the other corner of the same road and they tried to rob me of my time and money. They quoted me more than $200 and longer than an hours' worth of work. I drove right across the road to Tire Mania Auto Repair and without letting them know about my experience with Toyota they told me that it would take less than 30 minutes and that I could easily do this myself. They even told me how to. I decided since I was already there I would have it done, since they were so honest with me. I don't think they even charged me for the full 30 minutes. It was done very quickly, and they only charged me $35 for the work. They were very nice and honest. That seems to be a difficult thing to find in mechanics these days. They saved me a large sum of money and they deserve this review.

    Bottom Line:

    Toyota price: $200+

Tire Mania Auto Repair: $35 and an honest assessment of the work

From Courtesy Toyota to Tire Mania is maybe 0.1 miles away.

    Hancock Tire & Auto Service
I was very please with the service at Hancock Tires and would use their services again. They were prompt and professional. They were nice enough to make sure that the coupon for the free alignment was included even though I forgot to bring it with me. It felt like a nice, neighborhood business. I thought they went out of their way to make sure I understood what I was buying. And the new tires have been problem-free.

    Robert's Auto Shop
Excellent Service and prices. I initially took our other car in for air conditioning repair and was so pleased with the service and pricing that the next week I decided to take in my car to get new tires. They easily beat the pricing of the area's competition. It is a small shop so it was even more impressive with how quickly the service was done.
