    They came out and looked at it and although I wasn't sure I wanted to spend this much to repair, the tech told me the machine though older was a good machine and the parts are fewer than the newer machine so I decided to have repair done rather than replace it.  The part needed to be ordered but they were right on time with delivery date and calling me to install.  Brian was the tech and there was limited space to do repairs, it was very tedious work. Brian was very honest and conscientious about his work.  All was installed but there was still an issue.  Bill called me the next day to set up time to come out and look at everything. They even called me again the next day because I still hadn't figured out a time for them to go to the property since we had a tenant in place.  We were finally able to get Bill in to figure out what was wrong. Turns out the pipe was clogged up. Bill quickly took care of the clog in pipe and everything worked great. I would definitely use them again.

    American Home Shield ��� Home Warranty
    American Home Shield has been a pathetic
    disappointment.  I have been without a refrigerator
    and kitchen water for over a month.  My
    refrigerator stopped working over a month ago. 
    The ice maker had stopped working two months before that.  I called AHS and they scheduled an appointment
    in 10 days.  At that scheduled
    appointment time a Sears appliance technician came and began work on my GE
    fridge.  He worked for several hours
    before telling me he needed parts and would get them and return.  Within the next  week four separate  boxes of parts arrived at my door.   I had
    to call AHS several times (I recall at least two) to have a technician come to
    put them in.  Six days later a man from
    Gulf Appliance (Chris?) came to my door to finish the job.  He asked me for the $75 fee.  I told him I wasn't going to pay until it was
    fixed.  He poked around for a while then
    told me there were other things wrong with the unit and it would need other
    parts.  After taking all the parts that
    had been delivered, he left, telling me someone would be back.  The next day another man from Gulf Appliance
    came to fix the ice maker.  He also asked
    for $75.  My response was the same as the
    day before.  He told me that another repair
    service would come to fix the refrigerator as that is a separate issue and it
    would cost an additional $75.  Before
    leaving, the technician turned off the water in my kitchen sink so the ice
    maker/water dispenser wouldn't leak.
    A week later I still hadn't heard from any technician
    or AHS and it is extremely difficult to get through to them.  I finally spoke to a woman named Virginia and
    she offered me $175 toward the replacement of my $2000 refrigerator.  I told her I either wanted mine fixed or a
    new fridge.  She said she would get back
    to me.  She never did.
    It has now been 33 days.  I have no kitchen water and an ice chest on
    the floor.  My freezer (separate cooling
    systems) has since gone out and all my frozen food has gone bad.
    I called this morning and spoke to a man name
    Courtney.  He was rude and
    dismissive.  I asked for a supervisor and
    he told me there weren't any available and Virginia would call me back
    tomorrow.  When I asked Courtney if he
    was allowed to work without a boss, he told me all the supervisors were busy
    and someone would get back to me within 24 to 48 hours.
    The only received one call from AHS.  That was a request to renew my contract!  Ha!
    I will now attempt to contact AHS president, Mark

    I sent an email to the provider on a Sunday night and was called the very next morning. I was scheduled for service on Tuesday. The technician, Jeff, showed up promptly the next morning and quickly diagnosed the problem. He had the part on his truck and my dryer was repaired within 15 minutes.

    Submitted a request for a service call late Friday evening... Received a response next morning and service call was scheduled for Monday morning... Service personnel arrived right on time... Problem was found by disassembling parts (clogged air passage)... Ice blockage was removed... Reassembly and job completed in less than an hour...

    Dave, the service person, was professional, friendly, and performed the work in a very timely manner... I am a first time user and happy with the results...

    Refrigerator would not make ice or dispense water.  Contacted Paul W. Long who scheduled a same day appointment.  The technician, Brian, arrived as scheduled.  He examined the fridge and determined the problem to stem from a malfunctioning filter assembly.  Brian indicated that he would get the part ordered and contact us for a repair time.  A couple hours later Brian returned indicating that he was thinking about that problem and concluded that his original diagnosis did not  fit all the symptoms and he would like to make a couple more checks.  He examined the inlet valve indicating that it was very unusual for both valves to go at the same time but concluded that changing the valve would correct the problem.  He would check for parts availability and get back with us for installation.  A couple days later the office called and arranged to replace the valve.  Brian showed up on time and replaced the valve.  Ice making and water dispensing was restored.. Brian was easy to work with and technically proficient.  I appreciate the fact that he returned to nail down his diagnosis.

    Arrived promply, found the problem , showed me the problem and ordered the parts. Returned when he said he would. Repaired the dryer, vacumned behind the dryer and cleaned the dryer. Dryer now works great!

    I paid for the service and on contacting the company was notified that they did not service appliances in my area.  They refunded the payment.  They were courteous and knowledgeable.  Angieslist, however, was unable to remove the "NAGGING" screen which demanded a review of a service never negotiated for a transaction made in 2011.   This despite 2 calls and a couple emails explaining the situation.  Filling out this form evaluating a non-event appears to be the only way to remove the NAG screen from my Angieslist account.
