    I was able to have a tech in my house the next day. He figured out the problem but didn't have the part. I was told they'd be back no later than the following morning because he had other jobs that day and had to go to north Miami to buy the parts needed to repair my dryer. I received a call 3 hours after my appointment to see if someone would be home because he'd already picked up the parts. They will be my go to company for any future large appliance repairs. Awesome service and work!!!!

    Nelson replaced a fan on an older refrigerator for us. The refrigerator started making noise about a month and a half later, so we called him back. He was once again prompt to respond, punctual at the agreed time and completely professional. It was a no hassle, no stress call. He came, surmised the fan had come defective, and replaced it on the spot at no charge.
    About a month after that, the fridge once again had problems. This time it was the compressor and there was no affordable repair to be had. The refrigerator was just too old and not worth the repairs. So, Nelson gave us some advice on the type of fridge to buy in order to avoid future repair headaches. Anyone who has recently bought a major appliance knows this is invaluable advice coming from a repairman given all the choices.

    Al identified the problem right away and came the next day to replace part(Saturday).  He also gave me some valuable tips.  I would use him again as the 1st provider I called refused to come out and instead said "call the gas company" although I had identified the problem as been electrical and had used him before.

    Provider examined machine. Agreed that nd code was for clog Emptied machine is water . Showed me the clog. Told me it was from washing heavy rugs, better to do them at laundromat . Explained that I was using too much soap and that could freeze machine and burn the pump/ motor. Provider waited thru 2 short cycles to make sure that machine worked properly. He suggested I Run it several more cycles to get rid of excess soap I used. The machine runs very well. I would use this provider again! I will recommend him to all my friends. Honest and polite! And solved my problem!

    Our LG dryer stopped cooling. The first 5 calls to Angie's List recommended repairmen yielded the same response - "we don't work on LG appliances." Finally, Al at A1 Appliance told me that he could, indeed, repair our dryer. Four hours later, it was done. Very pleased with the quality of service and the quick response.  Al recognized that the broken part was identical to the same part used in a domestic manufactured product.   His experience meant that I did not have to special order a part from LG.  Bottom line is that we were able to use our dryer in hours rather than days.

    I found A-1 on Angie's List. I called at the end of the day and Al came the very next day, on time. I had heard a loud pop in my oven, after which the entire range stopped working. He discovered  a major short on the 220 line and said that we very lucky to not have experienced an electrical fire. A terminal had been completely "fried" by the short. The power cord also needed replacing. He did not have the part on him and said he would call me as soon as he did. The very next morning (a Saturday) Al called to say that he could come and replace the part and get my stove working again, which he did. I also showed him my dishwasher and an issue with the top rack rinse , to which he gave me recommendations  and the icemaker on the fridge, which was not working either. After looking it over, he told it needed replacement and gave me an estimate. Since I would have to run this by my landlord, he offered to come back as soon as I called him. I was not charged extra for these last two inquiries. He came across as a being very straightforward and friendly.

    I called and requested service for a refrigerator. They went out the following day and said they fixed it. The tech told me on the phone that the refrigerator was old but that it should hold up for a little while longer. Within less then 24 hours the refrigerator started to make a lot of noise and then stopped working altogether. I immediately called and they said they could not send anyone until the next day. Meanwhile all the food was going bad and they didn't seem to care. The next morning (we are now on day 4) the tech didn't even come he just called and he said based on what we had reported it sounded like it was the compressor and that we needed to buy a new refrigerator. Being that it was now Saturday, I explained that I needed a refrigerator desperately, he said he could arrange it with his company that same day, as they also sell refurbished appliances. He said he would call me back. Within a few minutes he called back, and said he spoke with the "delivery manager" and that they could deliver a refrigerator that afternoon. So we waited. By late afternoon (around 5) no one had showed up and so iu called the office. The girl who answered, didn't know anything about the refrigerator being delivered that day. She said she would call me back. About 30 minutes later she calls back saying that none ever said the refrigerator would be delivered that day and that they had said Monday. I was furious as this was a lie. I explained that if that had been the truth I would have gone to another company that could deliver that day. Not only did they lie but they were very unprofessional at the way they spoke to me on the phone. I explained my situation and she was completely unsympathetic and unwilling to help. I could have at that point gone to another company, but it was late Saturday (6:30Pm), the refrigerator had not been working since Wednesday and I was going to have to start all over again on Monday, looking for another company. So agreed to still have them deliver the refrigerator on Monday, however I made it clear that none would be home until after 3pm. Well, Monday at 11:30 am i get a call from the delivery man that he was outside to deliver the appliance. I again, told him none would be home until #. Within minutes I get a call from his office from the same woman i had been speaking to over the last few days, telling me no one ever said the delivery had to made after 3. She acted like she had never spoken to me. They eventually did deliver the refrigerator on Monday afternoon. It seems this company really has a problem with communication between their different departments. Every time I called it was like the right hand did not know what the left hand was doing. Very frustrating!

    Booker was honest and knew immediately what was causing our problem. He went right to work after explaining what he had discovered and what must be done. We were having a dog training session at the same time, and he was very curteous about warning us when he would have to cause a loud noise which might startle the dogs. He was professional but affable. I would hire him again and again and again.
