    Pediatric Associates
Their hours are convenient for working parents and they do appointments on weekends. If you need any kind of urgent care, you can always go to them. The staff is friendly and everyone caters to the kids. The only bad part is that you have a longer wait time.

I like the office in particular, and I like the doctor generally. She has always answered our questions, and always seems to have enough time to talk to you about anything or hear your concerns, and is available to answer questions. I feel like she gives good feedback.

We love the doctors here. Drs. Peck and Walker are amazing. They saw my son in the hospital when he was born and then were very helpful with his Bilirubin problems. My 3 year old also goes here and she loves them as well. They are very caring and take time to explain what they are doing as far as shots/checkup/exams etc. When my daughter is sick, she gets an appointment right away.

They accept Medicaid as well as multiple other insurances. They have a great sense of care in their treatment plans for pediatrics. They are friendly and the office environment is absolutely amazing. We don't have to wait in the waiting room for five hours to see them.

I called for an appointment shortly after we moved to Florida from out of state in May. They were able to schedule an appointment for me at my convenience in July, and transfer the records from our previous doctor. The website is nice and has bios of the doctors, and allows you to schedule appointments.
Everyone was very friendly and made my son very comfortable during the visit. The waiting room could use a few more toys and things to keep the kids occupied, but everything inside the office moves smoothly and quickly.
After the appointment, checking out is fast and easy, they take credit cards and flex cards so its convenient.
I like that its a larger office so someone is always available if he is sick and his regular doctor isn't there or is booked, and I like that they have extended hours and weekend hours.

    Milton Aponte MD
At first we were impressed with the cleanliness of the office and the seperate sick and well waiting rooms. We also liked Dr. Aponte's friendly dispostion. But as time went on we realized that he is the type of doctor who prescribes treatments above and beyond what is necassary for wither financial gain or to cover himself. Our 2-year-old has a large head, but is otherwise healthy, intelligent and happy. Dr. Aponte prescribed a CT scan of her head that would have entailed sedating her (which often fails and produces the opposite effect, making the child hyper) or strapping them down. But, he failed to tell us any of the latter details. I had to find out about the procedure myself from the CT tech, despite the fact that the sedation medication would have to have come from the doctor. Obviously, this made us very uncomfortable and upon receiving a second opinion, we decided that a CT scan was absolutely unnecassary without the presence of any other symptoms. Dr. Aponte has also prescribes, what I think is excessive medications. When my daughter had a slight case of bronchitis, he prescribed Prednisone. She had pnuemonia a year later and a different pediatrician didn't even prescribe Prednisone. The last time I brought my daughter to see him, I met another parent in the waiting room who told me that his daughter had choked a few months earlier. The girl (approx. 1 year) was cleared by EMT's, but Dr Aponte wanted to put her under complete sedation and do a esophogeal scope. The parents decided against it. I would not recommend using this doctor unless you are comfortable with putting your child through unnecassary medical treatments.

Pediatric Associates is by far the best pediatrician I have taken my children to. I like that if one of my boys is sick I can go online and book an appointment asap. They usually can take you in that day. If it is booked online just give them a call and they can get you in. Everyone is very friendly. The doctor listens to my concerns and takes everything very seriously and never blows me off. They are always busy and I am never seen at the time scheduled, but I've never been to a doctor's office and been seen on time.
