ACapps RoofingGreat! I contracted with Capps Roofing to repair a leaky roof and also replace two skylights. As the repairs progressed, the leak and damage was more extensive than anticipated. The workers were cordial and kept me informed of their progress. I ran out of extra roof tiles and Capps was able to match my existing tiles almost exactly. As they were replacing my skylights, the workers noticed and were horrified that some minor debris had gotten into my home and promptly came in to clean it up as they apologized profusely. They also kept the exterior of my home cleared of debris at the end of each day. I have used Capps Roofing for almost 25 years and will continue to do so. They may not be the least expensive roofing contractor, but I can always depend on the quality and guarantee of their work as well as friendliness of the workers.- Brenda F.

I had hail damage from 2015 my insurance company was denying coverage, 5 years later and 5 inspections later which Capps came out for each time they were able to convince the insurance company I needed a new roof, if not for them I would not have my new roof today! ACapps RoofingFrom the beginning of the whole process, until the final completion, everything went better than i could have ever expected. I was given many options on type of roof, all possible needed replacement of plywood sheeting, facia and sub fascia boards, gables, and new gutters. I chose a metal roof. They quoted a price, and we agreed, and they pulled permit quickly and was on the job soon after. Every member of their team, from the tear off crew, carpenters, painters, and installers, were professional and worked hard and steady through the brutal Florida summertime heat, without slowing down. They did all of this as hurricane Isaias was heading into our area, and they got it done right, and on time. The crew was well coached by Steve, and every question or concern that I had, he was very responsive and answered any question I had, with details and patience. If you are going to get a new roof, which is one of the biggest projects you may ever have to have done, or even if you just need a repair, you will be in good hands with Capps Roofing, as oppossed to any unknown company who may not deliver the quality of service that Capps Roofing has done.- Anthony S.

ACapps RoofingOutstanding on all fronts. Very competitive cost and superior performance. The Capps Team evaluated my problems and provided a detailed proposal. They promptly scheduled the work, called the day before to remind us of the work and then safely set up their job site. I inspected their work as it progressed and they were meticulous and very experienced. I also appreciate how they were organized and kept the job site clean during the job and when it ended. I also walked the driveway looking for screws and was impressed I did not fine a single screw.- MAtt K.

ACapps RoofingWe had used Capps to replace a roof on another house and they were top notch in all respects. So when it came to this house, we decided to use them again, even though we had a bid from a large competitor for a much lower price. Our job required a lot more than a typical roof job. Capps did not disappoint. They had everything (e.g. the old roof removal, disposal, carpentry work, installation of the new metal roof, painting, gutters, pool screening removal and replacement where necessary) coordinated perfectly, down to the minute. Their people (including subcontractors) were all courteous and professional and really seemed to take pride in doing a high quality job.- Ken B.

ACapps RoofingThe job went very well. Capps had to dodge a hurricane, so they had to rent a crane to remove the bundles of DaVinci shakes that were stacked on our roof before the storm hit. Communication was great, and the job appears to be well done. Capps installed a new chimney cap, stone facing, and flashing. Our also had Capps install new skylights and solar roof vents. And Capps had to remove and reinstall our solar panels on the roof. So this was a large, complicated job. We have not seen the finished job yet, but photos look great Thanks to Blake Capps and his crew for a job well done.- Richard C.

AThey did wonderful work. Were super professional, stood by their work. There was a minor issue noticed after I had paid and they returned next day and fixed it. I did two of three closets. Once I remodel will call American Built-in Closets back to do the last closet in my home. Highly recommend this closet company. The closets came out beautiful! High end work at a reasonable price.

FBad experience from the get-go, as they put a dumpster full of worms in the yard that smelled terrible. The Shingles were put on poorly and looked wavy as I was given a "They have a 3D look" response. You could lift all the shingles on the corners, and see that the glue was not even put on the corners. The first time it rained after they put this new roof on I discovered a leak in the ceiling. I never had a leak before with the old roof. It took them 20 days to finally respond to me and nothing has been fixed yet. Now they want the fixes to be done through warranty when it's a new roof! Roof was installed on January 14, 2021.

FWe called them on December 14 to give us an estimate for driveway pavers. Said they would have someone get back to us to schedule an appointment. Their rep Sal called us the next day and we set an appointment for him to come on 12/17 at 4 pm. At 4:30 he had not shown up, so we called him only to get his voicemail. We left a callback message. Then we called their office and received a voicemail that they were on another line and would call us back. Left a callback message. Neither one ever called us back. How unprofessional is that?!! Please stay clear of this company.

AChris let me know when he would arrive and kept to that schedule. He cut back a severely overgrown African Pencil tree, an Oleander bush and palm tree. He filled in the armadillo hole. I also needed a filter changed in my whole house water filter. It was not easy to do as the gasket was a little stretched. He really had to work to get it all back together! But he got it done. Work was done as requested. Chris is always in an upbeat mood.
