    DOG GROOMING PLUS
PERFECT! Over decades, the most caring & professional Groomers I have EVER had the honor of knowing and sharing my fur babies with. They are professional, knowledgable, efficient, compassionate & sincerely care for the animals they groom or board. They have always shared with me valuable & factual information, tips & advice for the benefit & health of my animals, I truly appreciate Laura and Wanda. And my fur babies have always adored them & happy to enjoy their spa day or to be boarded. We have never experienced one moment of worry or concern when our fur babies were in the care of Dog Grooming Plus! We HIGHLY recommend Dog Grooming Plus!!! Simply the BEST!

    Parkway Animal Hospital
They are very reasonable. It was my first time using them, but they were good. It was quick for us, I know that it can be a long wait, but it was a shot clinic. We didn't see a doctor. It was efficient, low cost vaccination for animals, and I didn't have a problem with any of them.

Animal Hospital Of Port St Joe

I can not comment on this provider's ability to do normal vet treatments like shots, BUT DO NOT USE THIS PROVIDER IF YOU HAVE A PET EMEGENCY OR REQUIRE TREATMENT THAT COULD BE LIFE THREATENING.  After several days of drooling and untypical listlessness, my 5 year-old Golden Retriever awoke one morning, vomited, and had trouble getting up.  I had to pick him up and physically carry him, but when I took him to the clinic, I was informed that they did not treat any walk-ins and that I would have to make an appointment for later in the day when they had an opening.  He was seen on time when I returned.  I informed the Vet about his symptoms, and he was given a cursory exam and a blood screen.  The Vet thought that he had stomach or intestinal issues, so I was given an anti-biotic and something to calm his stomach and was told that they would call with the results of the blood work.  The following morning he was so weak that he could not raise his head, so I planned to take him back to the clinic.  I received a phone call from the Port St Joe Animal Hospital before I arrived, and the Vet Tech informed me that his blood work was normal - I then informed her that he was much worse and should be seen again, but she just told me to keep him on the anti-biotics and he would be fine.  Therefore I drove to a walk-in vet clinic where it took them about 5 minutes to diagnose a lesion on his brain stem.  This vet consulted with another vet on the premises, made a consulting phone call to a vet neurologist and reconfirmed his diagnosis with 95% probability. The new vet gave my dog a steroid shot and put him on oral steroids.  His condition is terminal, but he is better and can get around on his own now.  I now have some more time with him because he was finally properly diagnosed and treated.

All of this after my neighbor recommended that I not use the Animal Hospital of Port St Joe because they had almost killed her pet.  Hearsay I know, but here is her story:........They had their Rhodesian Ridgeback spayed at the Animal Hospital of Port St Joe in August of 2011.  She was dripping blood when they picked her up, and when they inquired the Vet Tech told them that this was normal.  When they woke up the next morning, she was lying in a small pool of blood.  They took her to another clinic that did walk-ins, and they were informed that the main suture around her uterine stump had not been properly tied.  That vet then removed a big glob of congealed blood out of her stomach and resutured her properly.  She is fine and healthy today.

    APALACHICOLA BAY ANIMAL CLINIC
The only down fall to this office is the veterinarian procedures are costly! It is a great office with a friendly, caring staff and up to date equipment for your pets. Dr. Fulmer is a wonderful, knowledgeable doctor who is up to date on the newest procedures. He has a friendly personality, loves animals and has his own pets. In spite of the high costs, I recommend this office for your pet's care.

It has been great using them. They are very accommodating. We use them for occasional animal kenneling, bathing and nail trimming. The price that they charged us the last time that we used them included the overnight stay for three nights, full bath and nail sanding.
