  • They have a mixture of traditional medicine and holistic medicine, all under one roof. They also have supplements and traditional medicine available. They are extending their services to include additional services like infrared sauna, different types of yoga are going to be available as well as the medical services as they move into a new building this past week, massage and acupuncture. They have a registered dietician on staff if you work with clients on diet. And several other different things that they are doing now and that they are adding on as they move into their new site. They can get traditional treatment or they can get holistic treatment whichever they prefer. I have used a lot of the services there over the last few years. I'd have to rate them very highly.

  • For people with chronic pain issues or even short term pain issues, these guys are extremely good at handling either. They will take the time to actually find out the cause and treat it accordingly. They are not a sausage mill type place were they just run people through to get them through. They actually set up a treatment plan and a followup plan which is geared toward each patient. They may not be as fast as some of them out there that are just pumping them through but at least patients actually get treatment. These guys take their work seriously and do a really good job with it. I plan on using them, no doubt about it.

  • Everything went great. My Dr. is so wonderful. I have to go back for medicine because the one they gave me, im allergic too. My insurance company has been harassing me and they are writing my Dr. letter saying how I?m on Medicare and can only have a certain amount of medication. That is just wrong and im having a lot of promblem with this insurance company.

  • They were very quick, efficient, informative, and passionate. They try to make your visit as quick as possible without getting hurt. They are the best hospital in the Tampa area. Dr. Lawrence Martin was my surgeon.

  • The day after admission, my family wanted to move me to another hospital. So many mistakes! The nursing staff in the ICU were great. Some on the regular floor, not so much. One had me mistaken for another patient and tried to discharge me the day before my surgery. The nurse in the ER failed to note that I had an antibiotic allergy. The next day I asked the nurse what the name of the antibiotic I was being given through the IV. It was the one I was allergic to!! Caught the mistake with the first bag, (thank God) so avoided a problem. Physical therapist could barely speak english and kept calling me by the wrong name while I was in ICU. He was clumsy and kept stepping on my cathater and pulling on my drain tube. Finally had to ask the ICU nurse to stay with me while he was there so he wouldn't hurt me. When it was time to go home, the patient advocate in Bayonet Point Hospital set me up with a home health agency that didn't take my insurance apparantly. The agency called me after I got home and told me a nurse would call me to schedule a visit. Never heard from anyone. When I called the agency I was told they didn't take my insurance. They never bothered to call and let me know! I called the hospital advocate, she told me she would take of it. Never heard from her again. Had to go to my primary to have the staples removed. Was supposed to have two visits from a home health care nurse. Never got one. Unless you have someone to stay with you to watch out for mistakes, AVOID this hospital. Bad management I guess. Will never go back..

  • Spent a lot of time with me. She gave me an injection I had to sign for. I was not able to get up or walk when I went to see her. Because I could not take the prescriptions, she gave me the shot. She was very understanding and I felt better after seeing her.

  • Admitted through ER via ambulance for heavy internal bleeding (passing out), admitted and inpatient for 11 days. The nurses were great but there WERE NOT ENOUGH of them. Was in fairly intensive pain and there were delays in getting meds to me (that is basically my only complaint)

  • Bayonet Point is rated one of the best cardiac hospitals. My stay there went very well. I received great care from the nurses and the staff. They are very well detailed. I was treated there previously before my heart attack because I had Pneumonia. They ran test and found a tumor which they removed.
