HORRIBLE. I was without my car for about a month. They couldn't get it right. They said that they accidentally broke the computer. That is what the receptionist told me. They had to order a used one but they would not charge me. When I went back, I was charged $600. for a used computer which when my friend tested it, he told me that I was WAY OVERCHARGED. The final bill amounted to $1990.00 and it still didn't work right. I am having trouble selling the car for the amount that I put into it. I wish they would have gave me better advice on investment ideas. They were very condescending and in my opinion very dishonest.

I have been going to John for my automotive needs for almost eight years. He never tries to push unnecessary repairs. If it does not need done, he will tell you. He is honest and fair. Great communication and price.

Called Friday afternoon, got an appointment Monday AM. By mid-morning they called with a diagnosis. I gave them go ahead and they finished it up, They communicated very well, told me what they checked on the vehicle and what was wrong. They also put some dye in the system so if it continued to leak or in a new place, they could find it easily. Definitely will be going back!

I wouldn't use anybody else. They are wonderful. I have a warranty with them, so it didn't cost me anything. It doesn't cost me anything for the 72 months that I have my loan out there. I do pay for it, but it's part of the car payment. I have full coverage for oil and all of those things. I would give them "A"s on everything. They take very good care of the car. They put the new battery in and actually did a full service. I have the car serviced every six months. They said that everything was in good shape. They changed the oil and did whatever they had to do.

John and his staff are the people we trust with all of our car needs. We started going there for our oil changes almost 2 years ago after reading reviews and seeing their high score here on Angie list and we have not been disappointed. We recently needed additional work on our older car, John was honest and told us of our different options. Plus he was very accommodating toward our schedule and availability.

They are a local couple and a couple of people work there. They are very reliable. They are very nice and they always seen to be able to fit me in. They’ve always answered my questions and they have given me reference for an auto body shop. I like them very much. I would say a “B” for the price rating only because I am able to get tires a little less expensive at one of the outlet places. They back up their work and make sure that it’s done, and they even go beyond that. I live close in a 55 and over community and they drop me off; and when the car is ready, they pick me up. They do very good work. They are a very nice local company and they really take care of their customers. I have been using them for almost 4 years now.

I had a coupon. I didn't really have to wait for a long time. They are not so much as rude as ageist. I always feel like they are very condescending, but it might just be me. I might have to use them again, but I don't want to. One thing they could do differently is give me more confidence in what they are recommended is something I need and not just them trying to sell me something. They're just going to do what they do.

I arrived a little early for my appointment but I was serviced on time. I explained to the Service Manager everything I wanted done. These tasks were not solicited by the Service Manager. I just acquired a Jeep Wrangler and I was wanting to make sure everything was right on it so the service was a preventive task. The Service Manager initially had a problem finding the radiator hoses because he thought it was a 4 cylinder Jeep and not the 6 cylinder. He figured it out and found the parts were available. I discussed the oil that was to go into the Manual Transmission which is gear oil and not transmission fluid as in an automatic transmission and he agreed it was 70-90 gear oil. Two and a half hours later my Jeep is done. After the mechanic walks back into the office to drop off the ticket I asked him how dirty the oil was in the transmission, I also asked him if he put 70-90 gear oil in it or straight 90 just to confirm he used gear oil. He said he put automatic transmission fluid into the manual transmission. WRONG. It takes gear oil not ATF fluid like the transfer case. The Service Manager said he made a phone call to someone to find out what to put into the transmission even though I told him what it was suppose to have. He decided without talking to me to put the ATF fluid in it which he now confirmed was wrong. He had the mechanic drain the transmission and refill it with the correct gear oil after assured me it would be flushed out to insure no contamination (no clue if that occurred). He pulled out the bill for almost $600.00 which made my jaw drop. Not just because he never told me the cost up front but also the bill was written up for an automatic transmission service which involves way more than a drain and fill of a manual transmission. He also had the Transfer case written up as a differential oil change. I told him it was wrong and he informed me the cost was the same. He then applied a $100 discount that was in effect for $500 plus service costs which brought in down to just under $500.00 for the bill for $100 worth of fluids, $80 for two hoses and $400 for labor. This was just the last straw for lack of competent work from them. A couple months earlier I had them put on new front brakes and rotors. One week later I'm at a custom Jeep shop and he notices two of the front lug nuts are backed halfway off. He torqued all of the lug nuts for me and they were all under torque specs. The mechanic who worked on my Jeep is the current Service Manager from above. The day he serviced my Jeep for the brakes he did not use a torque wrench on the aluminum rims, just the impact wrench. He also spent a lot of time on his cell phone which I'm sure is included in the labor charge, lul. I am a lifelong customer of Firestone since the 70s. I worked for them when I was a teenager after school. The fate of Firestone is a sad story. Their facilities are dirty and their mechanics are not what I expect and based on these experiences they actually endanger my vehicles and my safety and therefore I will never use them again. It's quite a shame but it seems like everything is turning in this direction for some reason.

They checked my tire alignment and other systems as a precaution and went over everything with me including prices. They have a nice coffee and snack bar with a comfortable waiting area! No high pressure sales, just courteous information. Travis Farinella was great to work with!

Not knowing anything about vehicles, John always clearly explained everything about the problem and the solution, and always went above & beyond to get me the BEST price. He treats customers like family, a rare find! As much as I hate having to deal with car repairs, John is a genuine pleasure to work with-he has my complete trust!
