Connect Hearing and Karen James, the hearing aide specialist, is the first place you should visit. Karen James is very professional and understanding of the needs and concerns of her clients. I hope you will at least see her, you will be very glad you did.

I absolutely love Dr. Gilmore. She is a breath of fresh air. She was highly recommended to me by a coworker after I shared a horrible experience I had with my new doctor. I was new to Florida and had just found out I was pregnant. I needed someone who I could trust to see me through the pregnancy and repeat cesarean process. Dr. Gilmore was all that and more. She took her time to get to know my history and needs and was always so pleasant. Whenever I go, I truly feel like I'm visiting a friend. The only downside was the wait time, though Dr. Gilmore and the nurses are well worth it. Oh and my incision looks amazing!

I cannot say enough good about their customer support.  I had originally purchased hearing aids from them and had to frequently return them to the manufacturer for repairs. This was over a four year period,  Although I did not complain as I thought I may have been inadvertently abusing them, Mr. Polhill did not think I had received satisfactory service.  He went to bat for me and convinced the manufacturer to give me a new pair of hearing aids of a slightly different design. All of this was at absolutely no charge. The new hearing aids have been performing well.

I had a heart attack & a stroke, and Dr. Elsakr saved my life! His manner is beautiful, and the thing I like about him is he tells it the way it is - he doesn't tell you what you want to hear, but is honest

First visit with pa to chat.  I went for blood work, second visit was to discuss blood work, charge for office visit. asked when i would see doctor for physical, so they scheduled me with doctor, blood pressure and weight, no physical.  said they don't do them.  very confused.  dirty office. asked to measure my height, cause I am almost 60, for a base line to check in the future, but they said they don't have anything to do that.  My family history includes severe osteoporosis.  found it strange that they don't have the equipment.  I can't seem to find any other doctor taking new patients, so I am stuck. I will have to use them again, cause there is no where else to go.  very disappointed with all health care i have received here in Florida. Certainly not like up north. They would not address all my issues that I was having.  Also the staff were not dressed in what I would call a clean and professional manner.

The day I visited the office was very busy. I was told I was the third new patient that morning. I was given several types of hearing tests, given by a technician. After the tests, she gave me preliminary results. After the test, I waited a while longer to see the doctor. The doctor examined my ears for any physical problems. Also, since he is an EMT, he also checked my sinuses and throat, even though I went there for hearing. I was told I was in the normal range of hearing, so I would not need a hearing aid, and I would not have to come back later for future examinations, unless I notice additional hearing loss or other problems. I was pleasantly surprised by this. I expected to be told to come back at regular intervals.

Was easy to schedule appointment in a reasonable time frame. Staff doing history/intake was fine. I did see Dr. wash hands before coming into the exam room. After looking at the toenails, Dr. stated it was not a fungus, but bruising under the nail. She then reached for a small electric buffing type tool and without explaining what it was or what it was for, proceeded to  use the tool on both toenails, creating a hole in the nails,  exposing the nail bed. Subsequently the nails both split and fractured. Parts of both toenails were completely gone. This was not terribly painful, but quite uncomfortable. After  nearly 3 months, the nails , though growing, still have parts of the nail beds exposed. Needed better communication of the treatment process.

Dr. Mercer, Signature Healthcare, is a "member" based health provider. He accepts a limited number of patients on a yearly fee basis. This keeps waiting times to a minimum, and access and availability to Dr. Mercer maximized. He and his staff are pleasant, friendly and professional. Dr. Mercer seems to be an excellent diagnostician. Office visits with him are never rushed, and he's genuinely concerned with your overall health. He is not a pill-pusher, but isn't opposed to trying medications that could make a positive difference. The yearly membership fee might be a little steep for some, but it includes a yearly full physical exam with all blood and other tests included in the membership fee. As far as I know, they accept pretty much all major insurance plans. Contact Signature Healthcare for membership availability and current fees. I highly recommend them.

Dr Billmeier ha been primary care physician for me and my wife for about 13 years. We felt lucky to get into his practice. He is very knowledgeable, compassionate and has a great sense of humor. His entire staff is great. My father-in-law went to Dr Billmeier until father-in-law's death (not Dr Billmeier's fault). The only reason my mother-in-law will not go to him is because she thinks Dr Billmeieris too young and cute.

I have been a FHCP member for over 10 years. During that time, I have a number of issues. I have always been seen and treated promptly, with full explanations of what was going to happen and when. The co-pays were never a secret and I have never been referred to a provider who did not accept FHCP's insurance. Never a suprise on a bill. All the various doctors and nurses have been highly professional and knowledgeable. My elderly in-laws recently moved to the area and are in a different HMO, a nationwide plan you would recognize. I am not happy with that other HMO because they are extremely difficult when it comes to getting answers.
