    Great Southeast Flooring America
Twenty years ago Great Southeast Flooring America tiled the downstairs and carpeted the upstairs of my home. We were very happy with the results. The tile looks as good as the day it went in, but after two decades, the carpet needed to be replaced. We are very pleased with the new carpet quality and installation, and will be back again.

Flip Flop Cabinet & Tile Creations
Eddie's team came in and got started and worked diligently to get the work done. The only holdup happened because we waited a little over two weeks for granite counter tops to come in. My neighbors complimented the guys on being polite and not making a lot of noise and being clean. In a condo that is critical. I cannot compliment them enough on the great job they did.

    CSI Flooring, LLC
George Came out to my home when he said he would. He spent an hour doing tests, observations and cleaning an area of the tile. He explained to me what was happening and why. FINALLY, I get the answers I was asking from someone who did not have a bias or wanted to make more money off of me.

    Purcell's Distributors
scrawled out estimate, not thorough job not done as discussed, explanations given only after finished (floor was not perfectly level, apparently initial evaluation didn't see or account for this) job quality less than expected when tried to get more accurate accounting and recalculation of job after several parts not done as estimated, basically blown off, pushed to pay off balance, then ultimately threatened with a lien on the house if not paid by end of day

    J & J Carpet One Floor & Home
The designer came out to make measurements, but had real issues with following through with us afterwards. She didn't return phone calls. The final result was we never got a bid/proposal and decided to go with a more responsive and reputable general contractor that felt a $45k+ job was worthwhile pursuing.

    Four Star Flooring Inc.
I ordered the flooring at the beginning of October, and they didn't even get it ordered until after I called several times to check. It wasn't until January that they came out to install it, and it wasn't even exactly what I ordered. A month later, I noticed several dents in the floor. I went to get some furniture safety devices. Even with that, my floor started to separate at the seams! I was asked to take pictures of it. I sent them over and never heard anything back. I have left messages over and over. In August (8 months later) John came out and said he didn't appreciate my review online. I told him I would take it down so he would fix it. As it stands right now, there are still some dents in the floor and the floor is still separated. They don't live up to their promises. Before anyone buys anything from this company, get everything in writing that they will fix any problems within a certain amount of time. They need to stand behind their product.

    OCEAN CARPETS LTD INC
My wife and I had visited Ocean Carpets to find a carpet to replace the old carpet in our bedrooms, hallway and steps.  Prior to visiting them we had been to Home Depot and Lowes, they seemed to busy to really spend time with us and answer questions.  It seemed their price was reasonable until they mentioned all the extra cost for installation, even though they advertised free install. Ocean Carpets were very informative and spent all the time we needed to answer our questions and encouraged us to take samples home to find which one we like the best. They came early the next morning to measure our rooms and told us our estimate would be ready in an hour.  We went in later that day and their price was fair and we decided to go with the locally owned business and we couldn't be happier.  Excellant company, friendly people, and great service.

    Total Home Contractors Window Division

I had the work performed in two stages: 1) hurricane impact windows and doors installed August 2013 and 2) the rest October 7 to November 25, 2013, completed 1 week earlier than estimated. There wasn't a day that some work wasn't in progress, and I'm very happy with the outcome. Rob kept me informed of scheduled work and progress, so I was well informed.

Note:  I moved out during the second phase of remodel because I couldn't live there with almost every room being touched, plus open doors and gates and my greyhound are a disaster waiting to happen.

    Four Star Flooring Inc.
John Chetta owner of Four Star Flooring was hired to install Metroflor vinyl planks in our woman?s club for a total of $9765. This product was chosen because it had a 15 year commercial warranty. Mr. Chetta proceeded to install the flooring over an existing Masonite sub-floor at his own recommendation. When large soft bulges appeared in the flooring, the outlines of the sub-floor making ridges in the new flooring and some seams not sealing properly (which he was unable to fix) we asked Mr Chetta for a copy of the warranty which included installation instructions.   It clearly stated that the flooring should not be installed over hardboard or Masonite. We then called the manufacturer who told us that this would void the warranty and cause the flooring to "delaminate". When this was discussed with Mr Chetta he began using profanity and called me a filthy name. At this point $6500 had been paid to Mr. Chetta. A company rep was requested to examine the floor installation. When he arrived he brought Mr.Chetta and his son with him. When the rep had finished taking pictures and observing the installation, Mr Chetta demanded that we pay the balance. I replied that we would wait for a report from the company and also until we had some type of warranty in writing. Mr. Chetta and son then began RIPPING UP THE FLOORING. The company rep made a hasty exit. The police were called to remove Mr. Chetta and son.
Mr. Chetta was belligerent throughout the installation process, did shoddy work, the entire floor will need to be replaced, and the company claims no responsibility. we would recommend extreme caution for anyone considering Four Star Flooring

    Total Home Contractors Window Division
I do not currently live in the area and was looking for a very competent contractor to handle all aspects of the project with me visiting the job site about once a month. I selected 3 contractors from Angies list, prepared a scope of work, drawings etc.. Met with each contractor at the job site for about an hour and half each. Rob was the only contractor to actually have a complete detailed bid ready within 4 days. We met at their office where samples of every  item are available. We spent 2 hours going through the proposal. The pricing was $60,000 which is exactly what I had anticipated. I informed Rob that with that investment, I would be in a better position to sell the condo and upgrade to another property. We then spent time going through the bid removing items that were more personal and did not contribute to the value of the condo. I was planning on moving into the unit. Rob redid the proposal, resulting in reduction to 30,000. Major items like adding a wall oven requiring running a 220 were removed; downgrading from quartz to granite etc. Rob really helped in making decisions on how to add value to unit and still meet my objectives. Simple things like using carpet in the bedrooms rather than wood. He knew I was leaving town in a few days and reworked the entire bid. After meeting with my  real estate agent, the decision was made to sell the unit "as is"  and upgrade to a larger unit. I called Rob 3 times and left messages to let him know I would not be going through with the project. He and his great office staff had worked so well with me that I wanted to at least talk with him about why I wasn't going forward. No returned calls for a couple of days but a staff member finally called and said she was calling on behalf of Rob. I told her about my decision and she thanked me for the opportunity to be considered. I felt like Rob and I had established a good relationship and had decided that I would use them to do work on the new unit without getting bids from any other company. The offer on the new unit hadn't been accepted so I didn't want to have Rob spending time on scoping another project until I had closed. I never received a phone call or email from Total Home again. Personally, I was a bit hurt; Rob, his staff and I had invested a lot of time and energy in this process. Now that my move is in progress, I'm very focused on my rehab project. In the meantime,  I had $3,000 worth of painting done on the condo Rob had bid on, along with thousands of dollars of repairs. I did not reach out to Total Home for this work. Personally, I felt the project was too small for them. Plus, I'm not sure if they are upset with me for not going forward with the project they bid. Bottom line, if you are really committed to completely going forward with your project, Total Home will provide the most professional, timely  and enjoyable bidding/sales process. This evaluation is based on going through the bidding process of high rated Angie Lists contractor that service the Cocoa Beach area and had time to complete the project before April 2014. Total Home prices are not low, but they are very fair and well within normal pricing for quality work.
