Mark Mongon and his team at TCB are the best around! Mark came through for us twice in less than a year and I can't say enough about how responsive he is and how thorough he is in ensuring our issues were dealt with and resolved. You couldn't find a better company to work with for your water remediation and removal and repair needs! Thank you Mark and Gen for all your help!

    Larsen Home Improvements Inc
We have contracted with Larsen Home Improvements in the past for a huge renovation of house $30k+ and couldn't get enough of him.  Went back to him with another special project to give us more privacy over the pool patio to add additional 2 feet so 8 feet total of privacy.  Showed him a picture of a really cool looking privacy fence from architectural digest and he was able to come up with a beautiful functional design that is aesthetically pleasing to the eye.  Really changed the whole ambience of the pool patio.  Used cypress wood for long term wear and good in weather.  Treated the wood but left raw in color.  Joe is very gifted and is a true artisan.  It's like a work of art.  wish you could see it.  Slatted wood, louvered, so allows ventilation but maximum privacy.  Main thing is it gives the pool patio area a cool vibe.  With the red brick pavers and mosaic, tiled pool makes everything look cool.  Larsen Home Improvements seems to be able to do it all, from major projects to small custom made jobs.  My wife is already thinking of something else to add to the house and will be getting back in touch with Joe soon.  Plan to stay in the house for awhile and don't mind at all as it's quite beautiful now, not that it wasn't before.  Just has more of a custom feel to the place and very comfortable home. Thank you Joe at Larsen Home Improvements, Inc.

I have hired Joe on numerous occasions over the last 10 years. In fact, my recent experience was my third house during that time. While I have previously recommended Joe, and up until now I have been very satisfied with is work, I can no longer recommend him based on that recent experience. My wife and I recently bought a relatively new home, but we still wanted to make some changes. I contacted Joe first, as has been my custom for a decade. He said he wanted the work. I gave Joe several weeks notice that I needed him to start Monday, December 1st. He appeared Wednesday, December 3rd, without explanation or apology. In fact, he walked in and started to criticize the work of another contractor who was on premises and is prompt, reasonable, works on the job until we are satisfied, and always cleans up afterwards. Joe showed up at noon on Thursday, and said his assistant would be there Friday. He arrived at 3:30. We were adding some crown molding in the kitchen and family room, and we wanted to have a doorway framed in for French doors, even though the doors we ordered wouldn't be available until late December or early January. That way, all of the construction mess would be cleaned up, and we could hold family Christmas dinner in our new home that we occupied on December 18th. Like nearly every home built in North Florida in the last 15 years, the walls had an orange peel texture. So we had to have the new wall sections textured. Joe called in someone who did the ceiling in a 53 foot long space in our last house and did a great job, so we did not anticipate a problem. Although they had masked/bagged a significant amount, the overspray was everywhere: the floor, the ceiling, and walls in the new office; the pillars in the hallway; and even the dining room walls that were over 15 feet away. I texted a picture to Joe and said: "Mac went crazy today. All over this pillar and even on the far wall of the dining room." His answer? "Well otherwise would have to mask off all those rooms entirely it was very high-pressure if you see those spots just wipe them with wet rag and repaint them Or I will do it when I come back for the door Oh by the way the cheap skate builder caused all this disturbance by putting Orangepeel"[sic]. Really? That's not my definition of delivering quality work. We exchanged emails, especially after I received a bill that I thought was exorbitant. Here are a selection of his comments: "Your office needed repainting anyway." [Note: it had just had 3 coats of new paint.] "We could've covered up more but we were thought we were okay. The orange peel s**t was all caused by the cheap a** builder." "If you were on task you would have the door there right away." "You should have never painted any areas around the work that was going to be done." Joe and I normally don't have a formal contract. He previously did good work and charged a fair price. For this job he did not suggest bidding the job and going to a formal contract. Yet he stated: "If I bid the job including the painting that would've been done after then you [wouldn't have] known about any overspray." "You did things in the wrong order. Sorry you didn't know any better." In the future, I will stick to contractors that take responsibility for their work, charge a fair price, and treat their customers with respect.

Six weeks on job. Owner Joe Larsen was on site almost whole time. His main guy Don was extremely good. They are very meticulous and deliberate going about their job. Very high quality work and trustworthy. Left them to the house alone and felt very safe. Even took care of any ups, FedEx, mail, paper deliveries to the house. Joe is very active and buzzes around like a bumblebee whereas Don is the more chill one. Great combination. Work well with clients and keeps you well informed of what's going on. Had to travel a bit while work being done and he sent many texts with pics of what was happening. Really appreciated his communication with us every step of the way. Great to work with, hard part is trying to pin him down as they are very busy. Seems like the house building/renovation activity, at least in our area, has picked up quite a bit. Paint job was a major deal, used elastomer and outer paint covering. Required 3+ coats. Plus a lot of trim work in a different color scheme around the whole house. Especially patio which has rafters. That was detailed painstaking paint work. Wife really appreciated effort they put in and how accommodating they were to my wife's requests and response to her modifications. Highly recommend joe Larsen and his crew for any hou repair, build, renovation work. They are very good and worth the cost. You can expect high quality work and craftsmanship from this company. Owner is very detailed oriented and asks his people that work with him the same. Won't hesitate to hire him again or recommend him to friends and family. Already recommended him to my realtor. Thanks Joe, Don and other crew for all that you did for us these last 6 weeks.

Worst experience EVER. Contractor recommended by realtor (does work for her at discount in turn for referrals). Project supposed to take between 16-20 weeks to complete, took over a year & still not done. Terminated services and seeing legal advice. Over budget--despite no plan changes-by about 40%. MANY errors --far too many to list but a few include flooding bedroom due to cutting off & pushing A/C drains into wall then stuccoing over them, cutting then patching granite counter top due to incorrect measuring (2 in short), 3-steps down into room & each one measuring significantly differently--so much so that do NOT meet building code, ruining waterproof balcony flooring by putting boards on it prior to completely drying, messing up existing electrical work in house as well as new electrical wiring & leaving panels completely unlabeled, the list goes on and on. On top of it all, allowing electrical subcontractor to file lien on house WITHOUT our knowledge despite all electrical errors & admission of incompetent work done by UNITED ELECTRIC. Neighbors down street also had horrible experience, terminated their services and is currently suing this company as well. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

He did a large renovation for us. Ripping out old tile/carpet and putting in new tile with mudset for small grout lines. Worked hard. Did an amazing job. Very personable. Also took down a wall and vented stove hood to the outside.

    BREAKING GROUND CONTRACTING CO
This builder underbid this project by a LOT.  It took over 3 years for her to build our house.  In settling our dispute with this builder we agreed to a nondisclosure.  Suffice it to say:  avoid this company.

    Remodeling Pros
After months of contractor bids and comparison shopping, my husband and I successfully added on a beautiful Master Bedroom, a Game Room for our children, and a 3rd car garage. The additions by Remodeling Pros were so perfect, you would never know they were added on after the home was built. Amazing! Even our neighbors comment on how there is no way you can tell. As the 'lady of house', I was so pleased that I never had to put up with any disrespectful comments or privacy issues with the workers. You could tell they were all hand picked by Keith for their expertise AND integrity. The project was complete in 4 months time, as scheduled and on budget!! Having some construction experience myself, I initially thought these additions could have easily taken 6 months or longer. My husband and I were surprised that they were working every week day without fail (except for a few rain days) which they made up on some Saturdays. This is what you want to see above all else. Keith was often onsite and always available to talk to us. We (I) had a few change orders along the way, as one would expect, and we were not charged. Last time I built my own home, I hated to even consider a change because I knew it would really cost me $$. Remember small changes along the way are always inevitable in construction if you want to get exactly what you want (and you should.). Our neighbors often commented and were so impressed with how fast the construction was taking place. We continue to use Remodeling Pros for all of our home-improvement needs. Their work ethic of being on-time and providing the services agreed upon, cannot be equaled. Keith and his Team are always forthcoming with what jobs they will take on or refer to other reputable sources. (very few). You cannot find a more conscientious, hard working, and professional crew than the Team that Keith and Remodeling Pros have put together over the years. My wife and I are available to discuss any details further if you want to get in touch with us.

Todd is great.  Does a nice job managing his team.  Pricing is reasonable although not the least expensive.  You pay for the benefit that he will come back and fix anything you felt was missed.

Terrible.  They gave us a good sales pitch, but the remodel took 4 months longer than promised and they made MANY mistakes along the way.  They broke my footing of the home with a Jackhammer.  They cut the wrong marble, had to order more that does not match the first marble. They ordered and put in the wrong size window.  I got the wrong cabinets for my Master bathroom, wrong shower door etc. etc.. They still have not fixed my leaking shower 4 months later. Nightmare would be the best way to describe my ordeal with dealing with this company!!
