When I walked in the door I have staff starred right at me
like what was I doing there. They had just called me the same morning to
confirm I was coming.  The staff has no idea who has appointments and who does not. This is very unprofessional and
does not make a new patient feel welcome.
I waited almost 4 weeks for an appointment. I was on the cancellation list never heard from them.
I was told to be early at least 15 minutes to do paperwork and so I do not hold up the doctor.  I arrived 19
minutes early filled out the paperwork within 8 minutes.  However, the staff held my insurance card and
driver?s license without offering to give it back.   There was no one else in the waiting room
waiting to be seen by the doctor.  After 20 minutes another patient came in. Clearly her appointment was after
mine.  I again waited and finally after 55 minutes I watched the staff call the women in.  After 60 minutes I asked to use the
restroom.  Staff said you can come back meaning to a room and use the restroom.  I got out of restroom and was told to go back to the waiting room that I now I have to wait longer.  I indicated I would wait another 15 minutes.  Then the staff began
to harass me and tell me I was the problem and reason I was being delayed from seeing the doctor.  This is not true.  I came in early did everything they asked and sat reading for an hour.  This is a poorly run office with the Doctor not in control.
I also told the girl on the phone when I made the initial appointment that I needed an annual physical and blood work.  While at the office after I fasted all night, I asked if they needed urine they said, no.  They have no idea what is going on.
Additionally, Dr. Sheikh clearly states on the fee consent form that ?In consideration of the provision of medical services rendered by Rock Island Medical Center, Wiqar U. Sheikh, M.D., to the above named patient, I assume full responsibility for all physician charges for such medical services rendered to the above named patient, derived from deductible and coinsurance
amounts as well as any amounts NOT covered by my insurance carrier, from the actual physician charges.?   This is not
right.  It appears Dr. Sheikh chooses to get his full fees in addition to and regardless of the payout of the insurance
    company.
This Doctor and his office staff wasted many hours of my time and I never received treatment this is unacceptable and unprofessional.

P.S. I overheard several phone conversations the staff had with patients that they could not get an appointment until October.  May be you can wait but when I am sick I cannot wait that long.

I have been going to various specialists at the Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville since moving here at the end of March 2015.  So far, so
good.  The results from the course of treatment ordered by the hematologist have exceeded my expectations.
As yet I have limited experience with the billing department.  I have taken the opportunity to consult with the finance office staff located in the Davis Building and they have been pleasant and responsive.
I am disappointed that I am not able to use the Mayo Clinic for primary care because they are not accepting new Medicare patients.

He is very thorough and good. My mom has used him since 2001 or 2002. He is an Indian doctor. The waiting time to see him is not very long. He spends time to talk with us and we can ask questions and he will answer them. Any concerns we have, we can put them to him and he will answer them. His office and staff are beautiful.

He is awesome. I like the personal care. He will take you into his private office, and sit down with you, and have a conversation, instead of just cattling you through. They are extremely professional, and they are fast. If your appointment is at 9, you are taken in at 9 and you are out of there at 9:30. They take you from one thing to the other, they check your blood pressure, draw your blood, the doctor comes in, and 3 days later they call you with the results. Dr. Reich calls you himself. His bedside manner is like an old style doctor.

He listens when you talk and he gives different ways for you to manage what you're supposed to do and very honest. He has only two staff. They are very nice, very courteous. The good thing about this doctor, you don't wait. You get there in your appointment, and five minutes later you are inside the office waiting for the doctor.

I have used this doctor for a few years and finally had enough stress from his office and decided to leave. If you are on any medication and need a refill, he won't refill unless you have an office visit, even though you are not in need for bloodwork yet. If you go in for a well check, they always leave the well  check code off and then you get billed from the lab.  Then you call the office to resubmit, which they don't do and it goes on for months...STRESSFULL. When I wanted a script to go get a shingles vaccine (and keep in mind I've been a patient there for many years), they refused it unless I went in for an office visit, which on my insurance is about $60-$100 depending on how they code it.  So, a friend of mine works for a doctor and she got me a script for the shingles vaccine.  Shame on you Dr. Herrera!!! You, my own doctor won't give me the script unless I pay you for an office visit, but a STRANGER will.
So bottom line, If you go to this doctor be ready for alot of stress and a horrible office staff.

I've been going to Dr. VanGelder for 20 years since undergoing a kidney transplant. He's very patient when meeting with me, he answers all of my questions, and it's reasonably easy to get an appointment with him. Furthermore, his staff and his office are much better than others that I've visited.

Dr. Douglas Neimand is known locally as the "doctor's doctor", someone you want in your corner as a physician and advocate when your health is in question.  He is concerned with providing the best advice and will follow up to determine the efficacy of treatment.  He is like a strong field general in the hospital, marshalling forces and providing firm direction to other providers and specialists in the interest of his patients.  I don't know of a better general practioner in the area.  Dr. Neimand has been my primary care provider for thirty years and in my humble opinion he has rightfully earned the title, The Doctor's Doctor!

Jennifer Capezzuti DO is a really good doctor. She tries to find a natural approach before turning to medicine, that's what I like about her. I have been using her a little over a year. The office is very clean and neat, the waterfall gives it a relaxing feeling. The staff is very professional and very friendly. You rarely have to wait. She is very good at making her appointments.

He is always excellent! He is not one of those doctors that has 10 guys in a room, and jumps from room to room. He takes time with you, talks with you, and he's not in a hurry. He just checks everything that is going on in your life and makes sure that there's not one thing that might be causing the problem. He digs in until he finds out any options that you might have. He spends a lot of time with you and doesn't rush you to get you out of the office. He's compassionate, understanding, and he's just a good doctor. I'm going to see him again. I don't plan on changing.
