Ceiling Fan Installation reviews in Pompano Beach

The gentleman showed up and said he needed to check out other things. He offered to change out the electric panels on the house and upgrade into one new panel box. He said old needed to be made new to look good and reflect the inside of the house. He gave me a price for $4000. I asked for a separate price for what I'd called for and he told me a little over $1000. He was the highest estimate and I will not be using this company.

Richard was punctual, professional, and pleasant. His craftsmanship was A+ and matched by his friendly approach. He was even kind enough to use some needed additional supplies out of his van at no additional charge. I will absolutely contact him again in the future and encourage anyone to be confident in retaining his services!

Absolutely fantastic job in every respect. Take a look at pictures. John Villa and his team took a tired 2 bedroom beach condo and made it into a 1 bedroom masterpiece that rivals anything out there. This was a COMPLETE gut job and no easy feat. We did not have to hire a designer as John came up with great ideas and options for us. He brought up many things to consider that we would not have even thought of. These guys can do the impossible and get it right the first time. Attention to detail is the name of the game with Villas Remodeling. They don't cut corners or use inferior materials. Impeccable wood work, and the tile installation is flawless. John has the best dry wall guy that I have ever seen and made the old popcorn ceilings perfectly smooth. To give you some idea of the craftsmanship used, he sets the corner beads with a level. From custom cabinets to completely replacing the wiring, plumbing, air-conditioning ducts and soffits they did it all. The crew is well dressed, polite and professional. Even the condo management was impressed which is saying something. One great thing is that John is responsive. If you call him or send a text he will respond promptly if not on the spot. John or his brother Johnathan will visit the work site every day when work is in progress to make sure it is being done correctly and address any issues that might arise. He provides regular updates even if not asked. The best thing is that he is honest. This company is his baby and he takes pride in his work. It clearly shows .

I initially called re a fan switch that my handyman could not resolve. Raf squeezed me in right away & fixed the small issue. During the visit, we discussed my desire to replace the can style high hats in my home as they were dated/ugly & inefficient. He gave me a more than fair price & arranged a date. They arrived promptly, worked neatly & quickly & I love how it looks. I had him check every switch & plug in the house & in total, I replaced 48 lights, 3 dimmers a GFI, an outlet & of course the fan control.

MCM Electric, Inc. was extremely professional. They repaired my pool lighting, installed 3 chandeliers, 21 high hats, replaced all the receptacles, light switches and several light fixtures. We were impressed with the attention to detail, timely turnaround, professionalism, and cleanliness of their work. I highly recommend MCM Electric Inc. We will definitely continue to use their services for future maintenance and new projects.

Excellent. They started the day they said they would start and completed the job on time. The workmen showed up every day early and worked late. Hardest workers I've ever dealt with. They were respectful of the property, Cleaned thoroughly at the end of each day. They did many little extras and finished each part of the project as if it were their own home. We couldn't be happier and would definitely hire them again.

Jerrry and John showed up on time and did a great job in completing the work that needed to be done. I have already scheduled them to come back for other projects. They were also very professional and neat

Ceilings fans removal and installations of new fans were installed in no time. The Pendant light was a bit more tricky. I gave a hand but we got the job done. I've just purchased 4 more replacement lights which I will use Elcon again to install.

All of the work was bad. 1) A lightbulb was broken outside and shattered glass had to be cleaned. 2) the technician tried selling me personal lighting fixtures while on the job 3) he wanted to leave on time and send he would email me an invoice, which he never did 4) told me of a replacement part to buy and now the dimmer doesn't work with the specific replacement part he suggested. 5) told me the wrong replacement part to buy for a simple fluorescent ceiling light, then tells me "I'll give you one off my truck and take this wrong one from you" without me ever knowing if the one he gave me was same quality, cost less, etc 6) did caulking to fill a spot where a replacement high hat was meant to go and it was sloppy 7) attic work told me transformer to buy, it was wrong and light worked for less than 5 hours after he left before blowing out again I had to have another electrician come out and fix everything he did wrong. I would never hire Elcon again. Not only was the work bad, but the unprofessionalism of never receiving an invoice and the technician trying to sell me personal fixtures was incredibly uncomfortable.

Not bad after twos days of being on the job. But I got hit with a bill of $2100.00 and had anticipated $1600.00. Part of the difference was the labor rate of $125.00 per hour but the contract said $75.00. I was happy at the time so I just paid it. The fight didn't start until it was discovered by another one of his employees that the reason all the fans (3) wobbled was they were not installed properly. The larger one was being held up by one screw because the previous employee had broken off the other screw in the mounting box by using a power screw driver. This job started July 21, 2017 and finally finished correctly October 20, 2017. Raf had a real problem with taking care of these errors and always had an excuse as to why I had to wait. He persisted with trying to charge me for fixing the problems after he admitted it was his responsibility. The contract states his workmanship is guaranteed for one year!! So I think Raf needs to really work on professionalism if he wants to be successful. And hire some journeyman electricians.
