    Crescent Landscaping & Sprinkler Services
Owner and operator Howard Love and his employees are very experience and knowledge in their area of expertise. He provided prompt service, competitive pricing on materials and labor. There were several steps to the job of repairing and maintaining my home sprinkler system that were needed to update our well pump and sprinkler systems as a result of extensive interruption to the lawn for a pool installation. Please feel comfortable to obtain pricing and service as he manages his schedule to your needs.

Sent them a message from the Angie's List app over the weekend. Jonathan responded with a text message very soon after I sent the message. He asked a few questions about what the problem was. After a few texts back and forth... he seemed to have an understanding of what the issue was and we made arrangements for him to come by during the week. He wanted to come on Monday but I said that that wasn't a good day, Tuesday would be better. He was busy on Tuesday, but agreed that he'd try to come by when his other project was finished. He texted this morning to say he'd be there between 1 and 4. He arrived during the anticipated window (which is a victory in itself)... took a look at our system. He determined that, as he suspected, the pump had lost prime. He re-primed the system... he had suspected maybe the check valve was bad... but that didn't seem to be a problem after all. He did recommend some system updates/repairs to improve the system... but ended up not charging us to just prime the pump.
Excellent service. Thank you. We will be calling to use your services again.

    Ventura Well Drilling Inc.
Mr. Ventura came out on 5/6/15 to give us an estimate for a new deep water well. We went over where we wanted the well placed and what we where looking for. He advised that he could do what we where asking. We hired him then and gave him deposit of 1500.00. He advised us he would start the permitting process and be out on Monday or Tuesday to drill the well.
Monday no one came out and I called (leaving a message) asking if we were still on for Tuesday and if someone could get back to me and let me know since we haven't move into the home yet and we were not onsite all the time.
Tuesday morning around 11:00 am we went out to the house to get a landscaping estimating. While there we noticed the well had been dug in the wrong place. We called to ask why it had been dug in a spot we had not designated for it. Mr. Ventura advised us that it had to be put in the other spot because of permitting, our old well and new well could not be next to each other. (I called the permitting office and they stated there is no issue w/ the two wells being next to each other.) We also asked how many gallons a minute the well was producing since this was something our pump guy needed. Mr. Ventura advised it was producing around 6 gallons per min. (which is way under the average for the area which is 8-15 gallons per min.)
We asked Mr. Venture to come back out and discuss the placement of the well. By the well being placed in the wrong part of our back yard we could no longer us just about a quarter of our yard.  We have a large garage and driveway behind the pump house. Mr. Venture dug the well about 25 ft away from where we had originally discussed. This made it so we could no longer access the driveway in  the back by vehicle.
Mr. Ventura came back out to discuss the placement of the well.  We needed a new one dug where we originally had requested. Mr. Ventura threatened to take us to court for the balance due. We advised him that we had spoken with the inspector and the inspector advised us there was no issue with putting the two wells (the old one and new on) next to one another. At this point Mr. Ventura stormed off to go sit in his car for a little bit. He then came back and again tried to argue some more. After Mr. Ventura stormed off several more times, he eventually agreed to dig a new well after he spoke with the inspector. We also had asked Mr. Ventura many times during our conversation to provide us w/ proof that he had pulled a permit or a permit number. This was something he was unable to do.  During the conversation Mr. Ventura had mentioned that his guys had come out at 8:00 am on Tues and had been there for over 5 hours. This we knew was a lie because we had met w/ our landscaper on Tues at 11:00 am and everyone was long gone.
Mr. Venture came back a week later and dug a new well. He also filled the previously dug well. This time the job took over 8 hrs. They had gotten there at 8:00 am and did not leave till after 6:00 pm. One of the drill bits had broken which added an additional 20-30 mins to the job but not hours. Also the new well was producing 12-13 gallons per mins.  I am happy that Mr. Ventura agreed to dig a new well, I respect that but I have very hard time believing he dug the first well properly. If he had not put it in the wrong spot to begin with we would have never know there was issue w/ the first one.
I would not recommend Mr. Ventura to anyone. I believe he did not do what was supposed to be done from the start and the only reason we where able to figure this out was because we watched the second well be dug.
He also tried to get us to pay the remaining balance before the final inspection was complete. This was not what we agreed on in the beginning. We did not pay Mr. Ventura the final payment till we had a completed permit in hand, which was not till 07/09/2015.

I saw the offer on Angie's List for sprinkler inspection/tune-up at $49.  An appointment was quickly made and team arrived on time.  When we turned on my system the different zones did not function properly so the team advised that they could not properly inform the inspection so they did not charge me at that time.  We discussed some mechanical featured of my system and they provided me we an estimate of what it would cost to replace the index valve.  That plus a tee bushing ball valve cost $300. I decided to do this and the team came back again and the system works fine.  They also tuned up the system from the original deal and took the time to adjust aim on some nozzles as I requested.  The total cost for services was $349.  The team got caught in traffic for this second visit but called to let me know.  Very courteous.   In general the office is professional, prompt, and helpful.  The only constructive comment is that the blue glue used on the piping ran and was not wiped up and remained blue after it dried.  My husband believes this should have been wiped up for a more professional job.  Other than that everything works fine now.

    Always Green Sprinklers
I called last Friday afternoon 03/15/13 and left a message.
Phil made sure that he called back that evening.
He originally said they would not be able to come out until the end of the following week but would make an effort to squeeze us in on Tuesday 03/19/13 because of our travel plans.  They lived up to their word.
    Overall:
They were punctual, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. They made an extra effort to accommodate our timeframe.
    Bottom line:
I would recommend them to my neighbors.  A good experience.
