Repair & Maintenance reviews in Pinellas Park

I was getting an error code. Called Saturday, showed up Monday. Supposed to call before arriving, no call. Cleans out the drain pump. Gave us bill for about $95. Left without running machine to see if error came back. Load in laundry, 2 minutes later, error back. Called office, he returned about 1 hour later. Didn't look at anything just gave us back our $95 and new bill for $50. Says machine not worth fixing. I googled error code and replaced all components that typically cause this error. Spent $90 for the parts on Amazon. Washer working great. This is the first time a highly rated service provider failed me. Oh well, I guess I just got unlucky with the guy they sent.

It was ok. I guess my biggest complaint with that is that the company said the initial service fee will apply towards the repair, and they didn't apply that. The total was $210 with the initial service fee and the repair fee. My biggest gripe was that their diagnostic fee was not applied to the repair.

My refrigerator quit at about 3:30 pm on Friday. Called several vendors but all said they could only come Monday. I had lots of frozen food in freezer and other foods in refrig. Better Homes said they would be right over. Mike came within 30 mins and diagnose the problem. The control board was the issue and he had one in truck. Ten minutes later, he was done. I am very grateful. I do think the cost of $373 minus the $20 for Angies was a bit steep considering I found the same part online for $158 but I did save all the food so I am happy. Seems appliance repairs are always high. Mike was excellent and a pleasure to work with.

Not well, over priced. Between a service call and cost or repairs, Mr. Rodgers would have a cost a total of $244 to repair our dryer ($49 service call, $65 repair materials, $135 for labor).  We declined the repair and instead called a different company who came out and made the repair for just $100 total (service call, labor, and materials all included).  It only took this other company 15-20 minutes to actually complete the repair. We feel Mr. Rodgers over-inflated charges and do not recommend others use them.

They were immaculately clean. They where name brand Kenmore and whirlpool appliances. The more appliances I bought the lower the price got. I have used them before and have always been very pleased. They delivered them and installed everything except the dishwasher but they sent someone to install that. They made sure everything was working properly before they left. The guy installing the dishwasher came that afternoon. They came with a 30 day guarantee but the following 23 months is $45 for service and 50% for parts and labor for any repairs. I have never had to call them back for anything and I have used them several times. They deliver and are punctual every time.

While waiting for the repair I was able to look at the coins and bills for sale. Ended up getting a few and the prices were very fair. I felt bad that we came in so close to the closing time but was not shooed out like some other places tend to do. I had used their services in the past to repair broken jewelry. Another company recommended them due to the type of metal requiring different technique than most shops have. Very pleased and will go back at an earlier hour to get a better sense of coins and old currency I can get to add to my collection.

Billiard Man was excellent!  They returned my call promptly, confirmed appointment day before, and arrive on time.  They were on time, clean and well dressed.  They paid attention to every detail, measuring multiple times so table was positioned correctly in the space.  They went straight to work and didn't dilly dally.   Jordan was very knowledgeable and passionate about his work as he should be.  I'd hire them again for sure!

I called to say the knob on my dryer keeps breaking.  He immediately asked if it was a GE, which it is.  He said this is a known problem due to inadequate knobs (I paraphrased what he said).  I told him my machine has 4 knobs and when I switched to a different knob, it broke, too.  He said the timer sounds good and it is the inadequate GE knob that is the problem.  After talking to him, I decided not to have any repairs done.  I appreciated his honesty.

The first tech told me I needed a thermal expansion valve. Second tech said it wasn't necessary and adjusted the fan speed. Then I get billed for the second visit and after working with them they finally waive the charge. But the reason I am giving them the grade, turns out my heat pump/ ac set up DOES NOT HAVE A TXV. It has a piston. They were trying to replace a part that didn't even exist. The only way I found out was the next ac company I used was kind enough to show me.

The service for the big deal from Mr Appliance of Tampa Bay worked out great. They were great, no problem. He came in and he was very sharp. He found the problem right away, fixed it and that was that. I was real happy with the service. What I liked the most about them is the professionalism, he was young and neat, not sloppy or messy. When he pulled the refrigerator out he didn't leave any dirt, very nice, very nice young man. I would absolutely use them again in the future and I have already recommended them to a friend of mine.
