Justin was the Service Tech who came to the house for our quarterly maintenance. He was very helpful in explaining what he was doing, and what I may want to do in the future, to keep our unit running smoothly. We have been customers of Bayside for may years and hope to continue for many more.

I live in the Westchase area and researched this A/C project extensively which included obtaining quotes from seven different vendors. I eventually landed on Pleasant Air and I am very pleased with my choice. At the time Trane was running a rebate program so not only did I get a high quality product I was fortunate to get a very competitive price. The crew at Pleasant Air were timely and thorough, which included an alteration to my A/C closet during my May 2018 install. Due to the alteration the main installer stayed until the job was complete (apprx 10pm that evening), He was very dedicated and pleasant despite the long day. Pleasant Air also had the expertise to reinstall a complex dual zone board with the system. I will definitely use their services again in the future

We have a service contract and get routine maintenance on our AC unit. The Service Tech, Mike Jansen, arrived per the time frame I was given. He did find a few items that needed replacing and explained in detail what he was going to do and was very thorough.

My ac went out last night I called and had a tech out first thing in the morning. He arrived when he said he was. The price to get my air conditioner working was right in my budget. He was very nice and showed me areas of concern. I am new so its very comforting to be able to trust a company like this. I would highly recommend them.

I had Heatwave come out and do an inspection on my air conditioner. The technician was very kind and polite and explained the whole process of everything that needed to be done with my unit. The price was very reasonable in comparison to other companies in the area. I would highly recommend them and will continue to use them for any heating or air conditioning problems from here on out.

Al came right out at 10PM when my unit decided to freeze up and quit working. He got it running in about 20 minutes and scheduled an appt to come out on my day off to do a full cleaning. He was very informative and professional. He explained the issue, the solution and the necessary prevention.

The workmanship was the worse I have ever seen. They cut holes for the vents too large, did not put screws in both sides of the vents. Broke a 5 inch piece of sheet rock from one vent edge. The explanation given was " we told you there would be a gap". I guess that was supposed to make the mess okay. They did not replace the access door in the garage.

Georgio and Caroline...ABSOLUTELY the BEST! Beyond reproach as it has to do with business as well as some very nice human beings! Honest and helpful when it really mattered. Lenny and his crew who were out...hardworking, didnt matter the hour or the weather! And they put up with all my questions and my cats! Don't look any further for ANY AC needs this is where you can put your trust!

They cancelled last minute for one appointment due to a problem with their tech. Apparently, they have no backup. They wanted to reschedule for May and it was very difficult for me to arrange my schedule for this appointment. I told the lady I would have to let them know. I then asked if they were going to keep an appointment the following day for another location and I asked if they could leave a bill as I could not be there. At that point the lady I was speaking to got rather snotty and told me in no uncertain terms, no. I cancelled and called Orion Air who came out the same day and did great. Also, they were just fine with leaving a bill. I am sure Heatwave does good work, but their phone person left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Wow! I can't say enough about the awesome job Rick did for me ... nothing short of amazing! After having obtained more than a dozen quotes, I decided to go with Buc-n-air. Rick came out, inspected the existing configuration, gave me a couple of recommendations, and most importantly ... listened to what I actually wanted and let me know what would and would not work, as well as why. He spent a little over a day putting together my quote and even called me with a follow-up question while he was preparing the quote. After doing my research on both the equipment as well as the company (I'd check for licenses too), I determined that hiring Rick at Buc-n-air was the right choice for me and my family. Rick let me know that it would be a 2-3 day job. For a complete A/C replacement, all duct work repaired or replaced, adding three(3) returns, and two(2) new supply vents ... 2-3 days sounded reasonable to me. Rick showed up the first day and informed me of his plan of attack for updating my home's A/C (I really like knowing what's going on ... so this was a bonus for me). The first day, if something could go wrong, it did. Not any fault of Rick's at all, just things like missing adapters, crazy connectors, and a bad existing thermostat wires caused it to be a really late evening. Rick stayed until after midnight to get our new A/C unit installed, charged, and running. Rick let me know that he would be a little late the next morning because he had an customer that he needed to take care of, but he would be here as soon as possible. We had A/C, so that was ok as far as I was concerned (plus he let me know ... again, I like knowing what's going on). In my opinion, communication is key to great customer service ... and Rick communicated with me every step of the way. Day 2 was a shorter day ... they removed the temporary plenum he had put in to fit the new air handler and replaced it with a plenum that would allow him to get started on replacing the ducts. He was able to get the first two supplies tied in and then reconnected the existing ducts to the plenum. Again, Rick made sure we had air before leaving. On the 3rd, Rick was back out and got an early start. He added two(2) new supply vents, three(3) return vents, ran all the supply ductwork, built the final plenum, and tied in all the ducts to the main plenum and trunk. It got late, about 11:30pm, and there wasn't enough time to finish adding the new returns so we plugged the return vents and Rick offered to come back out when it was the best time for me. We decided that Saturday worked best for both of us, and again ... we had A/C that was working great before Rick left. On Saturday morning, Rick arrived and he began putting together all the return lines. He set up the new return area and attached all of the return lines to the new return. This was a big part of improving the efficiency of the new system. With our old A/C system, we only had enough return for half of the system that was being installed, so it had to work much harder to get the air and cool it. However, adding the three(3) ceiling returns nearly doubled the amount of return air available to the system which (as I found out during the process) increases the overall efficiency of the system (you need to get enough air into the system to get the optimal amount of air out of the system). When the returns were complete, we noticed that our home's temperature was much more even ... there was no longer a 7 - 10 degree difference from one end of the house to the other. Now that everything has been completed, I couldn't be more happy with my choice. Not only did Rick complete the job ... he put in the extra effort to ensure we had working A/C every day before he left my home. Aside from a small deposit he required to get started, Rick did not ask for any payment prior to completing the work he said he was going to do.
