Very professional. The work crew was always on time and did an excellent job. The final mold inspection was excellent. They were very careful about not tracking anything through the rest of the house. Would definitely recommend them.

SwissSteam do great work and are very professional. They show up promptly and are very courteous. They had tools and know how to take care of my flooring and make it look like factory new. Recommend very highly!

After a water pipe burst in our home in 2012, we contacted our insurance company and were given the name of one of their preferred providers to do the water extraction. We were not impressed with their work. We contacted NextGen Restoration for an estimate on repairs to give to the insurance company. Upon NextGens arrival, they found that the initial drying, done by the preferred provider had not been done properly and that our home was still wet and now had mold. Our insurance company was notified, by NextGen, of the scope of the work needed to correct the problem their preferred provider had created. We contracted with NextGen to dry the house and re-mediate the mold created/left by the other company. They immediately began the work and shortly after that, the insurance company denied our claim. NextGen continued their work, aware of the denial, and finished drying the house. A hygienist confirmed that the mold was indeed present, at which point we had to move out of our home. Together with NextGen, we reached an agreement for the mold remediation, so we could move back into our home. During our lawsuit with the insurance company, NextGen stood by us, including brilliant testimony and live demonstrations at trial to justify our case. Their state of the art equipment processes and recording of information was above reproach at the trial. NextGen waited patiently for 3 years to get paid, until we won both the trial and appeal. Their support, excellent work and concern for their clients made the difference for us. We highly recommend their services!! Thank you NextGen Restoration, Mark & Rhonda Wagner

The first thing I want to tell everyone....DO NOT SIGN ANY PAPERWORK WITH THEM!!!  CONTACT YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY FIRST.   Our insurance claim was approved and paid within a month.  Had no problems with the adjuster or insurance company.

Tom (rebuild project manager) and Matt (mold mitigation crew) were great.  They were here when they said they would be.  Matt would call the night before and even showed up at 6:30 am to accommodate our schedule.  We were very impressed with the quality of work, but the timeliness and organization of the work had much to be desired.

The first day, Synergy required a $1000.00 deposit to start any work.  They also wanted to see our home owner's insurance policy to see what was covered before they would start locating the leak within the wall.  Once they confirmed our insurance coverage, they went to work.  My first mistake was to sign paperwork with them prior to contacting my insurance company.   It took them about 2 days to demolish the bathroom vanity, separating wall and dining room upper and lower cabinets in order for them to "locate" the leak which was in the wall at floor level between the bathroom and dining room/kitchen area.  They found mold covering the entire wall, dry wall, and cabinets in contact with the wall.  Major mold and water damage.

The entire process took 2 months to complete.  Mold mitigation and passing the mold inspection took a month.  We did not pass the first time and required another 2 weeks of daily cleaning before we could have it retested.  We were tented and had air handlers and dehumidifiers in our home running 24 hours a day for a month.  After about 2 weeks of this, the mold mitigation crew started showing up to clean the area.  I would had preferred they remove the affected wood and rebuild, but they treated the area and only rebuilt the drywall.

Not until Synergy found out that the insurance company paid our claim did they even consider rebuilding what they tore apart.  And then, it was a hit and miss situation.  They never really sat down with us to discuss the rebuild, what we wanted done, how long it would take nor when it would be done.  I would think they would do this, plan the project and then do the necessary tasks such as ordering cabinets, flooring and paint to repair the damage.  This should had been done the day after they took it out the wall.  This is not what happened.  Only after I called the company and demanded a meeting with our project manager did they even provide an estimate of what it would cost, and they it was very vague.  I was frustrated and told them I would prefer to find another contractor to rebuild than to have them continue the project.  The very next day, the rebuild team starting showing up.  They walked through and saw the damage left and the scope of the project.  This took about 5 minutes and then they received a call and had to leave.  Didn't hear back for another week.  This is what the project was like, hit and miss.  They would show up for about an hour or two and then would be called off to do something else.  Even though, they were scheduled to be at our house for the day.  There were days we told them no one would be available for them to work.  We choose not to have a key box on our home.

Once we passed the mold test, the tent came down and machines removed from our home.  The area sat exposed for about 2 weeks before any work began to rebuild.  I found out that the cabinets were not ordered until about 2 weeks after the rebuild project started. The bathroom vanity was not ordered until after the kitchen cabinets were put in place.  The entire rebuild should had taken about a week or two to finish.  However, it took over a month and a half to complete.  This was due to being called off after showing up to work, our work schedule (my husband works nights, and I work days).  However, even when I would take the day off they would show up, start to work, and they have to leave before finishing what they were scheduled to do.  VERY FRUSTRATING.

Like I said at the beginning, do not sign any paperwork with this company.  Call your insurance company first.  Ensure you have scope of work and time table with them.  And do not have a direct pay to them.

15 minutes prior to inspection, he cancels with my agent, as he was at the hospital. Fair enough, I texted him later wishing him the best but also, as this is a time sensitive window, I asked if he was still up to the job. He responded via text saying yes, he was sorry, but he would contact my agent and reschedule. This, he did, same time, two days later. This was okay, but now I'm a little nervous, the clock is ticking... He never showed and has not reponded to multiple texts and calls from neither I nor my agent. Things happen, I understand this, but not to communicate with your customer who is relying on you, well that unseals the deal. Looking at prior reviews, maybe his business should be renamed, "Sometimes Dependable". I will say, if it turns out that something tragic has taken place, then I will apologize, and set the record straight.

Their service was great.  It was important to me since I have allergies.  They were polite and very thorough.  They gave a good, well written report.
