    Thomas Electric
Mr. Herr, the owner, came out and gave me a price on the work we needed done. Then I got a call from his office telling me when they could come out. Ariel and Lisa showed up on the day they were expected and they were great. They were so professional and friendly. They had to come back a second day to do the outside outlets. They decided to go up into the crawlspace and run a new line for the garage outlet. Lisa noticed that there was an issue with wiring up there and fixed it. Mr. Herr stopped by to check on the work and noticed a code violation with the wiring for the water heater. They fixed both before they left. Both items were fire hazards, so we were glad they found them. All the work was done beautifully and they even cleaned up. We'll be calling them in the future.

    Sun-Tec
The first installation, while very professional done, was fraught with delays due to internal supplier/installer issues.  The punctuality of the installers left a good bit to be desired.  Sun-Tec a year ago when first 5K array was installed was pretty much a "start-up", and it definitely showed through obvious disorganization, materials ordering mistakes, and the wrong people in some key positions.  However, they had the right product, it's technology was the latest quality proven release, and the installation crew that I wound up with was very professional, although punctuality in arriving on site left a good bit to be desired.  The bottom line is, that even with all their issues, the installation when completed was very professional and had the look and feel of very high quality workmanship, and the ensuing power production of the 5K array certainly backed up the bottom line installation assessment.
This year, I elected to have an additional 5K array installed, and once again selected Sun-Tec, primarily because even though there were a number of problems on the first 5K install, none had to do with professionalism or quality of work.  It was a very pleasant surprise to discover that in interim they had tackled and solved their internal problems, and for the most part had the right people in key positions, had addressed the installer punctuality issue.  All of this and still maintained, yes even improved upon their installation professionalism, and workmanship quality.     TODAY, I WOULD UNHESITATINGLY RECOMMEND SUN-TEC TO ANYONE WHO MAY BE CONTEMPLATING A SOLAR ARRAY INSTALLATION, OR AN ADDITION!

Went okay but we needed more work done so he would have to come back after our builder fixed some issues

when we called to have him return he ignored many phone calls we even called his wife who we were knew and she refused a few phone calls if he did not want to do the job he and his wife should have acted professionally and stated that. I find it rude and not acceptable for a business person

    Solar Lights & More
The initial installation was fine.  The pool heater works pretty well although not as well as we expected.  I even referred a friend to use Solar Lights and More for his pool heater.  I had to call once when the valve assembly failed and the valve assembly had to be replaced.  It took several weeks before they were able to come and fix it.  The problem was fixed and they honored the warranty.
A couple weeks ago I contacted them to get an estimate to repair a solar hot water heater (for domestic water) that the previous owner had installed.  The roof panel burst before we bought the house.  Their salesman came to the house.  While he was at my home he looked up at  the roof (from the ground) and he noticed a problem with the pipe going to the pool heater.
They used defective pipe between the pump and the solar collectors on the roof.  He told me that he would contact the office and get them to send someone to replace the pipe.  He told me not to worry - there would be no charge.
Their technician came to the house 2 days ago and gave me a bill for $59.  I told him that Rick Zay (the salesman) told me there wouldn't be a charge.  He said "let me check with the office".  He called the office and they told him to at least collect 1/2 of it.  I refused and told him that Rick told me it wouldn't cost anything.
They have responded with an invoice saying the pipe and labor was free but there is a $59 diagnostic charge.  I called them and told them Rick said it was covered.  They called me back again to say I have to pay $59.
Once you give them the money you will be pretty much on your own.  Don't believe them when they tell you they will take care of you after the sale.

After this review was posted, Solar Lights and More agreed to not charge me the $59.

    Premier Electrical Services Inc
I originally called Leon at Premier Electrical because I was concerned about a loose wire I found in my attic causing a fire.  I wanted the wire to be looked at by them since it was frayed and wrapped in what looked like duct tape.  I called Leon first thing in the morning and he assured me that someone would be out later that same day.  Within an hour or so I received a phone call from Mr. Busby at Premier Electrical saying he would be here shortly to look at my problem.  I am very familiar with Mr. Busby because he has been out here with Premier several times. (panel install and socket changes.)  When Mr. Busby arrived he looked at the wires in question and assured me they were very low wattage and would not cause a fire.  He then told me that he felt bad charging me for the service call when he really didn't do anything but look at some wires.  I told him that the peace of mind he gave me was worth the service call but he still felt badly.  He said he saw a wire up in my attic that was cut off put showed promise since it went down the wall in my garage.  Since we didn't already have a light in the attic, Mr Busby said he could use the wire he found and easily put a light up there.  Mr Busby said that way he would feel better about charging us the service call fee and we would have a light in our attic.  I told him to go ahead and do the install.  About an hour or so later Mr. Busby told me that he was done and I went to my garage to see what was done.  Not only did he install the light as promised but he also put a socket up there so we could put a fan up there when we were adding boxes and such.  Premier Electrical will always get our business as long as we are in the area.  They are the only electrical company we have used since purchasing our home in Beverly Hills Florida this past January and they only company I would trust with our family home. Great job as usual and very honest, hardworking and professional.  Honesty and integrity are something sorely missing from people these days and that is something that Premier Electrical, Leon McCoy and Mr Busby have always demonstrated.  Thanks again Premier Electrical for an amazing job and demonstrating exactly the kind of work, honesty and integrity my husband and I have grown to love, respect and always receive from you company.

Went great. Leon, Bill and assistant arrived early got right to work did everything I had originally asked for and then some. Made sure everything was cleaned up and left all in a timely manner. Leon knew the answer to any question I had since I just moved in 3 weeks ago and didn't know what all the switches and electrical connections were for. Great guy.

I called Mr McCoy and Premier Electrical to change out the EFI sockets in my bathroom since the ones that were in there were over25 years old and were beginning to show signs of wear.  During the install Premier Electrical was professional, courteous and efficient.  The work was completed quickly, correctly and the areas were cleaned when done.  I was only charged for the time of the install and the work done and not one penny more.  I was even given a discount for the service since I have used them several times before!

I worked with Leon McCoy and his team before when I needed some electrical work done in the house my husband and I purchased in Beverly Hills Florida.  At that time Mr McCoy and his team were courteous, professional, thorough, quick and really seemed to care about the work he was doing.  Because of those qualities my husband and I asked him to replace our outdated electrical panel.  Mr McCoy set up a time to come out and do just that.  Yesterday, the date I selected, Premier Electrical came out with Duke Electric and proceeded to complete the job.  Permit in hand, the technician not only changed out my panel but he also moved an outlet that he saw was too close to the panel and in violation of code.  While working on my panel he also noticed the sprinkler system plug (which my husband and I have never used) was apparently wired improperly and he also fixed that problem.  The work was done thoroughly, neatly and quickly as I have come to expect from Premier Electrical.  When he was done the technician explained the new panel and surge protector and then he replaced another plug in my family room that was cracked.  About an hour or so after the work was completed Leon McCoy called to make sure the work was done to my satisfaction and the power was turned back on by Duke Electric..

Leon McCoy came out and fixed the issue by adding three new circuits to my panel.. While he was at my house he also fixed a few other issues that I mentioned to him free of charge.  Mr McCoy was very professional and friendly and I have an apt for April 3, 2013 for him to replace my electrical panel and he will also be adding a surge protector on the panel at that time (cost of panel replacement and surge protector is only $850.00).  Premier Electrical was very reasonable priced and I would definitely recommend him to anybody.

The heater works great when the sun is out!  We were able to get in the pool one day in February (water temp was 81).  Since then it has cooled off a bit because of rain and cloudy days.
