    Chris came to check out my dryer after I had several people look at (1 being a local company that was useless and cost me money but never fixing it). Chris was awesome. He found the actual problem really easy and we will be ordering the part (and hopefully after a month of not having a working dryer) we will have one in the next week. Beacon is very honest and very fair and customer service was exceptional as well. I highly recommend them.

    James (who says he owns the business), accepted a Choice Home Warranty claim two weeks ago for my dead refrigerator (on a Thursday). He said he would submit the diagnosis by Saturday so we could get a new refrigerator. After one full week, I started calling him, as did Choice Warranty. He finally submitted a very vague diagnosis in their system. They said there were no details at all and requested more information. He refused to answer phone calls or return voice messages. Today, a full two weeks later, Choice Warranty said they would have to send out a new work order to be reassigned because James refused to complete the necessary information. I called him to let him know that, and he said --- Great - I'm so tired of getting phone calls from you and Choice Warranty. I have 22,000 customers. When I told him I would be filing a complaint, he started texting me ugly messages. His final message was: "I love cry babies that don't get what they want."

    My clothes dryer needed repair-and I contacted Top Notch for a service call.
    Robert arrived when he said he would to diagnose the problem with my dryer, advised me how much it would be, requested a deposit and arranged the return date and time frame to do the job.
    I had just gone through this scenario with Affordable Appliance Repair (which I've also reviewed on Angie's list).  I did tell Robert about my very unpleasant experience with them-and was assured that this would not be repeated.
    What a DIFFERENCE between Top Notch-and "Affordable"!!!
    It's a simple difference. Robert is HONEST!!!
    He kept his promise to advise me when the dryer part had been received by him. We arranged a time frame for the repair on the pre-arranged day.  He actually arrived at my house on the early end of the estimated time frame.
    He repaired the dryer quickly, and checked it completely to be sure that it was fully operational. He is very knowledgeable in his field, very professional and pleasant.  He's a bit exuberant about his business, but IMO he has the right to be.

    Robert was on time and called ahead to let us know he was coming. He initially thought the problem was a bad board ,but wanted to make sure so we didn't have to buy a board and still have a problem so he temporally fixed the freezer to work until he came back, he came back a few days later with the part's to repair the freezer which were a lot cheaper than replacing a board. Bottom line: Robert is a very nice and knowledgeable appliance repair man, and we will never use anyone else. Thanks Robert

    The repairman (Cole) came within an hour of my call. He was very friendly and put us at ease, worked quickly to find the problem and gave us some good advice. We decided to go with a new refrigerator, but I would definitely call them again next time I need an appliance repair.

    The gentleman arrived and evaluated the situation, then stated that he knew exactly what was wrong and repaired it immediately. He then checked entire dryer for other possible problems. He was very professional and competent. Our dryer is working fine now and we will use this company for any future needs!

    Johnson's technicians were very knowledgeable regarding the working of the refrigerator/freezer. Tim went the extra mile by clearing the problem instead of charging me for an unnecessary replacement part. He also gave advice on how to prevent this problem from occurring again. The technician provided excellent service which was very refreshing. Will be first number we will call for any other household problem we have.

    The dishwasher controls went crazy, flashing error codes and the unit would not shut off unless unplugged. The Johnson team promptly came out, assessed the situation, and ordered a new computer board. They returned punctually on the day the part arrived, installed it and we were up and running for Thanksgiving. We called the next day when the machine exhibited the same error codes, they contacted experts at Frigidaire who scratched their heads and suggested also replacing the control panel (the experts had not come across this problem before) The Johnson team ordered the panel (at no additional charge to us!!) and, again, arrived when they said they would, replaced it and it works like a charm. In the future, when we need appliance repair, we'll be calling Johnson Appliance Services. They are knowledgable, punctual and professional.

    The service man diagnosed the problem and said he would order the part. The part came in a little over a week later and he came back to install it and found a second problem. He fixed that without putting the ordered part in and said to try for a week to see if the problem was solved. He did not charge me for another service call and did not charge me for the part he had ordered. He was knowledgeable and very fair.
