Rick and his team were great! He showed up on time, finished to job in one day and charged exactly what had been quoted. His attention to detail is phenomenal, as is his good attitude and responsiveness. I highly recommend Rick for home improvement projects.

    ToolsToDo Handyman
***BEWARE!*** Invoiced MORE THAN 3x the amount of initial estimate - UNETHICAL - Shoddy Service - Review BBB complaints (C- BBB rating as of 4/5/19)! This was the most unpleasant experience and I'm entirely disappointed in their handyman services and baffled by their customer service approach. After submitting detailed photos of pipe fitting clothing racks, a request to change light bulbs requiring a ladder, and assembling wheels on a grill, I received an estimate for $178 (with an additional 10% off). It was in line with a second estimate I received ($175 but not immediately available) so I signed up with ToolsToDo. The initial repair man caused damage to the clothing racks, chipped my wall, and didn't bring a ladder. The following day, a 2nd repair man arrived and assembled the racks completely unevenly where they are leaning to different sides. After complaining to the office about the initial repair man, I thought my complaint was taken seriously as Ashanti promised to replace the tech, he returned to my doorstep on the 2nd day as well which made me very uncomfortable, being a single woman who just made a complaint to his employer. He "repaired" the chip with the wrong color paint, incorrect texture, and didn't even make a clean corner. It looks awful! I was later invoiced for $518 by the exact person who gave me the initial estimate! After a full day of hearing their phones from multiple texts accompanied by phone conversations (additionally 1 repair man disappearing for ~2 hours) they upped the charge! Mario informed me that they ALWAYS estimate a low amount and then charge exponentially more after I asked him how the invoice amounted to MORE THAN 3 TIMES my anticipated amount when he personally saw the emailed photos, personally provided the estimate, physically appeared on site to assemble the same items, says absolutely NOTHING about extra charges, then drops a bill for $518 and says he gave me a discount! I understand estimates may have overage, but 10-20% is acceptable and still requires customer sign off from any responsible company or contractor. After emailing photos of the shoddy fix to my wall, their customer service told me that I would be charged for a proper fix to my wall from the damage THEIR technician caused. After requesting an amicable resolution, ToolsToDo responded with this quote: "You are free to voice your opinion online of course, we just have to warn that any false or untrue statements or claims will result in a defamation lawsuit." Seriously. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company unless you enjoy filing complaints to the BBB.

    My Handy Craftsman Inc
Overall did a good job and I am hesitant to write this review because the quality of the work and their professionalism was very good, but.... Would have hired them again except for the follow up. One of the doors was installed incorrectly. They came out once and said nothing was wrong but there was. Lock and door knob did not turn easily, can't use the key and I had to remove some weather striping to make the door close. I called three times for them to come out. Was told they would and now nearly 5 months later they still have not been back and the door is still a problem. I have more work I would like to have done but am looking for someone else to do the jobs..

There was mix up getting part needed. Tech finally fabricated the part himself and completed the job. There was also communication problem. Tech was unaware that I have land line and was sending me messages. I was not aware of this. All is straightened out now and have hired them again for another project

    Carl's Renovations Inc
Carl and his workers (Matt, Rick and  Conan)  provided great service in a very timely manner. They also were so kind to do extra things like changing a sensor light on outside motion detector light and filling in a small area in driveway with leftover concrete from deck project. Matt kept me from having a panic attack when the newly installed toilet started leaking the second day. He was at my house within half hour to solve the problem. It was a screw that unexpectedly came loose. I will keep Carl's renovations in mind for any future home repair needs.

    My Handy Craftsman Inc
They did a really high quality work with the drywall and the ceiling repair. Everything was blended in perfectly and you would never know that we had knocked part of the wall out. They also creatively built the wooden step/trim.

    5-0 Handyman Service
We scheduled an appointment for Tuesday. He did not bother to call and reschedule. Since I needed the work done, I called him. No apology, he just rescheduled for Friday afternoon. Friday, he showed 90 minutes late, shirtless and without a ladder when the job was to remove 2 satellite dishes from the roof. Wanted to reschedule again, I said thanks but no thanks.

    Jeremy Farris Handymen
Amazing work.  Jeremy is awesome.  He and his assistant spent 5 days on the job.  His attention to detail is evident.  He really loves what he does and it shows in his work.  The house looks brand new from the outside now.  This was a very difficult job b/c my house needed a lot of sealing.  It hadn't been painted in 15 years.  It looks amazing.

    Jeremy Farris Handymen
Let me first start off by saying that i am a first time angies list user, and it went absolutely wonderful. My grandfather needed someone to find a way to securely mount his toilet to the floor, the problem was that the wood underneath had rotted from a leak. I had 2 contractors take a look at it, both saying cost wise would be about 10,000 to fix. So i went on to look at handymen, i come across steve farris, He was promptly on time, and was able to take care of the issue for less the 300$. Well my grandlfather did not want anyone to remove the tile, and we discussed steve crawling under the house to repair but that was not negotiable due to physical conditions. I asked him if i were to help my grandfather what would i be looking for, Steve then drew out a picture and description of what i would be looking for. He also went on to add wood screws and supplies to finish the job. Then he went on to do the craziest thing ever, HE OFFERD HIS TIME TOOLS AND HELP FOR NO COST, he said it was the holiday season and that if i was willing to go under the house he would be willing to stay till the job was done. in closing he cut and prepped the wood and i crawled under and drilled it in, my grandfather still gave him $100.00 as a thank you. all in all he was an angel and help my grandparent fix this 2 week old problem, in a few hours. Thanks again steve you are an amazing man, i thank you for help and generosity, and really will always remember and pass on that kindness.Grade A all the way.
