    Lindholm Construction Inc
Contacted Lindholm in 2013 to replace a roof in Miami. After the roof replacement, we had a leak near our chimney. When reporting the issue, it was stated that the chimney needed to be replaced and it was our problem. After many failed attempts to seal the chimney, six years later, we have engaged other roofers to help. Three different estimates point to the original installation as the issue. When contacting Lindholm, I was told they do not work in Miami anymore and that I was out of luck. Really tough to be taken advantage of as a first time home buyer trying to get insurance and navigating the waters of Miami home repair.

    City Roofing & Construction Inc
The estimator/lead repair technician (Inmer) was very professional and diligent in his work. I am especially gratefulthat (for the 2nd time) he and his associate werer able to complete the repairs without breaking any tiles. Due to rain, this recent job had to be postponed a coupe times but the office kept in touch with me and made sure that i got an early timeslot once the rain held up. I have used this company on a few occasions over the past 3-4 years and always had a great experience. I would hghly recommend them.

    AMADI ROOFING INC
My experience with Amadi Roofing is and has been a nightmare it took Alberto over a year to complete my roof, the numerous excuses given, you could write a book, he didn't have the funds to purchase the tiles for my roof of course this was not disclosed up front so the initial tiles chosen had to be changed because of the time frame to receive them, I now have issues that need to be addressed under the roof warranty, My experience is either he won't answer the phone or informs me that he is extremely busy and doesn't have available time to come out to the house. I would tell you to avoid this roofer at all expense, he is not creditable.

    T&S Roofing Systems
I have had an excellent experience with the T&S roofing team of professional roofers. Beginning with Angel, my roofing consultant, who went above and beyond to meet my needs with a well written detailed proposal. It took a year before I decided to use T&S among several well established roofing companies but Angel stayed throughout the entire process of fighting with my insurance company to get funding for the roofing. Angel provided me with necessary documentation stating that my tiles were discontinued, which facilitated my roof replacement. George, my project manger replied immediately to all my calls and concerns before, during and upon the completion of the roofing project. I highly recommend this roofing company who I have heard is rated no. 1 in Dade County but now I have experienced it myself.

    Flamingo Painting
Overall it went well and we feel positive about the job, the end result is very good and we like it and feel confident about the quality. They were a little slow to get started, part of which was due to rain and also some things that needed to be done prior to painting. Alex also helped us find someone to do work not covered in the contract (wood patch, vent screens, some concrete work) so that took some time. He was easy to communicate with - answered texts and phone calls and basically kept in touch plus was congenial. The painters were pleasant and considerate, showing up everyday once the prep work started; once they really got going it went pretty quickly. We would hire them again but would definitely start earlier in the year before the rains for exterior work. The pricing was good and we recommend this company.

    Arion Rain Control Systems
I highly recommend Marlon and his team from Arion Gutters. I knew over a year ago that I needed new gutters, but was waiting to replace our roof first. So I had a lot of time to 'interview' gutter companies and get quotes. I didn't find Arion until after my roof was finished and ready for new gutters...but the hunting process is important for every project, especially in Miami, and it gave me a sampling of what's out there. Even after getting many estimates, I was not crazy about any of the companies I interviewed. I've been burned before (by an impact glass company), so I do a lot of research before I hire anyone. Fortunately, I found Arion Gutters on Angies list, shortly after the roof was completed. I called for an appointment and received a call back from Marlon within a day. Marlon is very punctual, professional and polite. He came to my home at least twice, to discuss new gutters. His quote was not the highest, or the lowest. But I felt it was fair and I was comfortable with my choice because of the company's reviews, and Marlon's professionalism. He answered all of my many questions and offered good advice regarding the installation. We had just replaced our roof, drip line, and all of the fascia, so I wanted to be sure none of it was damaged during the gutter installation process, which could void my warranty with the roofing company. Marlon specifically told me that too, and explained how his crew attaches the gutters, without touching/drilling through/damaging the dripline, etc. In the 10 estimates/interviews I had received over the last 1+ year, in which I specifically asked the different gutter companies how the gutters would be attached, and if it involved the dripline, Marlon was the ONLY person to mention this. Clearly he was honest and responsible. Marlon's crew was excellent, very professional and competent. They work quickly and accurately. No mess or clutter. Very organized, detail oriented and skilled in their work. They also installed 3 rain chains for me. They can order them for you, or you can get them online. I had ordered mine from Amazon. I got chains with 2" wide openings at top and bottom, so they wouldn't clog easily with leaves, or impede the water. I've been wanting to put chains up for years and now that they are in. I am so pleased! Marlons crew did an excellent job all around, but took particular care with the chains and was sure to put extra braces inside the gutter, on each side of the rain chains, to support the extra weight of the chain and the water they would direct, as well as caulk the hanging wires in place, from inside the gutter. All the gutter corners and ends were caulked too and do not drip anywhere. The chains look great. When I realized that one of the locations I had picked for a rain chain needed to be switched to a downspout because it was so overwhelmed with water after a strong downpour, Marlons team came back out to change it to a downspout and had the foresight to make the foot of the downspout long enough to divert water from the area near it that had pavers on sand. (I was out, and trying to get back home to meet them. My husband was home and let them go to work, before I could get there. When I pulled up, they were almost finished and I was afraid the downspout would be too short and facing the wrong way. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had not opted to go the easy, and less complicated route, but had made an extra long foot at the base of the spout, and directed it towards our mango tree. Thanks so much guys for your patience and for going the extra mile! Guttering my house in the front is not without a real challenge. The length across the front of my house is approx. 75-80 feet. The previous gutters had 3 downspouts in the front, and they were never enough to manage the water. Plus, they were barely hanging on after 20 years, (and gutters that old were held in with those long, and outdated, nail spikes that just pop out under excessive weight). The gutters began to sag and literally had torn off the front of the house a few times. We had them re-attached several times, and tried to keep them clean of leaves, plus my husband had poked 2 small holes in them to relieve the weight of the water. One of the holes was in the center of the span, right in front of the living room windows...of course I didn't want a downspout there, but I thought a rain chain would offer water/weight relief, and be beautiful at the same time, (and it waters an otherwise very dry garden bed.) So 3 rain chains and 1 downspout in the front solved the issue of water weight. I will mention here that one of the companies that I had interviewed said something that nobody else had ever said...'You should not have any downspouts in the front of the house...they should be on the side, so they don't detract from the house'. Well, that sounded good at the time, but after thinking about it, I knew that my house was an exception to that 'aesthetic rule', and each house needs to be evaluated with it's own design and limitations, rather than try to be pegged into a 'one-size, one design fits all' formula. No downspouts in front were not an option for my house and I am SO glad I did not end up using that advice or service. This is another reason we all have to get different estimates and do a little research, before we buy into whatever anyone says or tries to sell you. (I'm a 58 yr old woman. I've learned to ask a lot of questions, do my research, get recommendations before hiring, read the whole contract before signing, and if I can't, or if I'm unsure of it's language, then I ask for a copy to review at home, or for my attorney to review.) I'm sure it wasn't easy working with me because I'm picky, inquisitive, (consumers have to ask questions and be informed!), and I was undecided on where to put the rain chains (until virtually the last minute, even though we had planned it.) Everything turned out beautifully. Marlon and his crews professionalism is refreshing, and hard to come by these days. I am so glad I found them.

    A. Palmer Roofing Inc
Jose and Joanne explained process, steps, and timelines very well. Jose help us choose the perfect tile color to best complement the house paint color and trim. The crews were efficient, timely, dependable, polite, and extremely debris conscious. They are amazing. The roof looks terrific and has demonstrated no issues or problems. We are completely happy with the work and will continue to have the company inspect, monitor, and service as needed.

    T&S Roofing Systems
I had the pleasure of working with T&S roofing these past few weeks and all I can say is I am super happy I made the decision to go with them. The team I worked with was super efficient professional and extremely nice. My roof consultant Leo Toledo was very sweet and I say that because he dealt with my impatience personality with a smile. My project manager Jorge Mosquera was the best. He answered all my questions no matter what time of day. I also dealt with two really nice ladies in the office Melanie and Giselle that communicated and stayed on top of what my timelines were. The guys that did the actual install were just awesome as well, they left my property clean and all picked up each day, no complaints here. I could go on and on but just need to say in all I am super happy with the outcome, I have a beautiful roof well installed and my neighbors are just in awe about how great the job was and no more sleepless nights when it rains, now I enjoy the rain. I would and have recommended the T&S team to my friends and anyone who is looking for a great company to get the job done.

    Florida Standard Roofing Inc
After researching Google and Angie's list, I found Florida Standard Roofing. Their reviews were excellent, so I checked out their website. It was comprehensive and user friendly. I called and made an appointment with Danny Crespo, owner, for an estimate on a new roof. Danny arrived on time and answered all of my and my husbands questions. He was very polite, informative, and patient. Danny is a 3rd generation roofer. His father, Luis Crespo, was also onsite during the roof rebuild. Both of them were always very polite and helpful. Danny told us that he/his company was certified as a Master Elite GAF Timberline roofing company. But that rating wasn't what sold us on Danny, so much as the great reviews of his company, and then after meeting him we felt confident that he was honest and competent. He was always available, and if he couldn't answer a call, he'd return it right away. Danny, provided us with a folder of information, the likes of which NO contractor has ever offered us before. It was filled with pertinent roofing and materials information, descriptions of product, a client reference list of 80 names and phone numbers of customers who had their roofs worked on by Florida Standard Roofing, a list of 32 completed GAF Shingled roofs, by his company, with addresses, for us to view, a letter of introduction with a lot of buyer friendly information and web sites where you can look up and confirm his company's license is active, copies of the company's license and certificate of Liability Insurance, plus a 'vocabulary' page of 'common roofing terminology' and diagrams of the 'anatomy of a roof'. Brilliant! THAT's confidence! in your company and work. We knew then that we were going to have Danny do our roof. His estimate was not the cheapest, but I knew he would do the best work. It took me a year to finally start the roof, (not because of Danny's schedule, but because of mine), but I spoke with Danny many times over that period and he always answered all of my questions and made every effort to work with my schedule. He is one patient guy! We had to get past 2 surgeries, my daughters Sweet 16 birthday party, Hurricane Irma and the Holidays, before we could finally get to our roof...but the biggest reason we had to delay was because we had to find a competent person to remove/support our screened patio cage/enclosure, and replace the super gutter that is between the screened cage and the rotten fascia board that we wanted Florida Standard Roofing to replace. We finally found someone competent to replace the super gutter, so we coordinated them with Florida Standard Roofing, and our schedules, to begin in February. The shingles were delivered by a big truck with a boom that had a conveyor belt on it. On roofing day, and every day, the crew arrived on time, were very polite and neat. They cleaned up at the end of the day too, using a magnet to pick up stray nails in the yard, etc. I asked them to put a cover over the patio, to protect the new tile and pool, and to keep nails from leaving rust stains, and they covered it everyday they worked in that area. I never saw a crew work so hard, from the moment they arrived, until they left at 5pm. (They took a well deserved hour for lunch). We discovered that we have a tongue in groove roof. It needed a lot of wood replaced, especially in the 2 valleys. We replaced 1x8 PT fascia board around the entire house, and 2x8 PT fascia on the patio, plus some rotten soffit was replaced. The crew installed GAF Pro Start Shingles on all eaves an rakes, GAF Cobra Ridge Exhaust Vents, GAF Timberline Lifetime High Def. Shingles, GAF Storm Guard Film Surfaced Secondary Leak Barrier, over the entire roof, (qualifying owner to receive an insurance discount), GAF Seal-a-Ridge protective ridge Cap Shingles, and new drip line. We were very pleased with Danny and his awesome crew, at Florida Standard Roofing, and highly recommend them.
