    The entire process was smooth and impressive. I already liked the company, having met them when my mother was having her home system switched over to them from her existent one. I suddenly needed to leave town for several months, with only one week's notice, and with no time to pack or move anything but myself and my pets. I called Allstate hoping they could somehow secure my home with a system with only one week's notice. They were at my house in one hour from the time I called, and in another hour I had signed up for a plan, and in just one more hour their technician was there installing. By that afternoon I had a security system I understood and could afford and I am very happy with it and with Allstate.

    I install was professional and installer arrived on time. Sales people called to ensure that everything was satisfactory. The system is easy to use and I like the key fob and app that can be used remotely. I set the system off by mistake and the service called me right away to check on me. I had resisted getting an alarm system because I thought it an unnecessary expense but the Allstate experience has changed my mind. I recommend this company.

    The first time I made an appointment with Gies (the owner) he never showed up. I called the next day and he said he was sorry but he didn't write it down. I made another appointment and he and his coworker showed up. They were unable to finish the window sensors because they did not have the parts. He said they would call when they got the parts in. 5 months went by and I never heard from them. I called and got a voice mail and asked them to cal me about the sensors. The next day, with no phone call or an appointment scheduled, 3 very unprofessional men show up smelling as if they just left a bar. They said the were here to fix the sensors. They came in and just started rifling around. They popped the sensors on the windows and then they walked out the front door and yelled have a good day! It was so weird! I didn't sign anything and they didn't tell me what they had done. All in all the company is unprofessional.

    I was notified by my security system that my batteries in my fob were going bad. I contacted the security company and they offered to send a tech out for $25 + service charges to be determined. I declined as I am on a fixed income and opted to find someone on my own. I checked at office depot and received a recommendation for Battery Source. Mark at Battery Source replaced my batteries for a grand total of $10.70 which was very helpful as the security company was going to charge me more than double just to have someone come out. He truly did me a great service and I have recommended him and Battery Source already to everyone I know.
