    Owners, Jim and Gale were fantastic to work with! Gale was very helpful in suggesting fabrics for our specific needs and patient as we made our selection for our new cushions. Jim did a great job making and covering our new cushions. Once the fabric was chosen Jim had the new couch cushions done in just one day as promised! We couldn't be more pleased with the work done and would highly recommend Seminole Upholstery to anyone. Gale and Jim are the best in the business! Very kind and fun folks to be sure!

    I need my sofa set reupholstered and the frame reconfigured. Walt came out and gave me a good estimate and told me he could do the frame. He also revisited me with samples for material. Following this he sends me text and adds Angie's List to add a review. I found this odd since he had done no work. When I finally decided on one of his samples for material, Walt dropped the ball and never returned the call. My premonition that Walt had no desire to reupholster my sofa set. All he wanted was the review because he came out with samples. Buyer don't waste your time!

    The company responded very promptly to my inquiry, and arrived promptly ready to work.  Much of the original blood stains had been removed by another provider, but some stains remained and one had occurred because of the previous provider. World Class completely removed the stains on carpet and furniture, and left some special powder to use in case of any remaining stain once the furniture cover had dried. It was not necessary to use the powder b/c World Class had done such a good job of cleaning.  I would definitely use this provider again, especially when I wanted very good and deep cleaning of carpet or upholstery.

    Delivery people decided the modular sofa was dirty, which it was not. I offered numerous times to provide a professional cleaning service receipt. The lighting in garage for sofa was not good so they just decided it was dirty and wouldn't take it. I sent photos ahead of time and talked to the owner. It was quite unprofessional the way they decided it was a dirty sofa? Why would I want to offer them a dirty sofa? It was four years old and just professionally cleaned at the tune of $350! They were very rude. The furniture in the store is also overpriced and very dated.

His mild manner was very pleasant. The tuning, of necessity, was not the full stretch my piano will ultimately need, but Rich left me with a good understanding of what was done this day, why, and what the next step should be. I expect to request his services again.

    The repairs were so excellent that I would have never known there was a problem to begin with.  The repairs were made much sooner than I expected.  Since the piece was small we delivered it to him and then picked it up the next morning.  I was very pleased with the repair and would use him again in a heartbeat.  Highly recommend.

    I went in to the shop to pick my fabric they were very helpful and I had to go through many books to find just the right fabric they special ordered exactly what I wanted and made sure to measure my chairs so I would not waste the fabric and buy more than I needed when the fabric arrived they came and picked up my chairs and recovered them quickly and brought them back to me all free of charge I would definitely recommend this shop it is run by the same family for 50 years they are very knowledgable and professional and will continue to use them

    Dakota Furniture Repair
    First off, this is a really nice guy.     He tried is best to repair and mask various problems with our furniture.  Cat scratch on top of desk w/leather top...  his repair was to spray something on it and wipe it with a rag.  Said nothing else could be done.  It looks the same as it did prior to spraying.     Then there was the table, which had been dropped, cracked, and a piece was missing on the edge of the table.   It needed to be glued back together, fill in some spots with wood putty, sanded, and painted.   Before my wife came in and talked to him about doing these things, he said there was nothing he could do to help the table.  After she told him what could be done, he said he could do that.  So he sanded the old glue off two parts of the table very well and glued them back together perfectly.  However, when it came to filling in the cracks with the artificial stuff, he missed some spots and after he thought he was done, I showed him where there were still some spaces that needed more putty.   He agreed he missed some spots and would fill them.   He filled some of them in, but still did not fill in the all the cracks.  We told him we'd go ahead and sand down the rest of it and paint it ourselves.  Then there was our heirloom dresser that we needed re-finished.  He did a good job masking the scratches on the front/side and hiding the water marks on the top of the dresser/drawers.  When he said he was done, I showed him various spots that needed more care/color, etc...   I was expecting to get someone who would repair and re-finish the furniture, sort of like the guy on "American Restoration" on the History Channel, but that's not what we got.   Instead we got a really nice guy who did his best to use the products at his disposal to mask aesthetic blemishes on your furniture.  If you want to take care of things on the cheap and do what you can to mask and hide, this might be your guy.

    I had decided to give Kane's a second chance. A few years ago, I had purchased a sleeper sofa and it was delivered damaged. I had the delivery men take it back, although they assued me some one could fix it. So recently I went back for a dining room set. The sales person was very nice. Once again, upon delivery, the table and one chair were damaged and the men immediately took them back and reordered replacements. Upon further inspection, the other three chairs were wobbly and of poor construction. I called and cancelled the order and wanted a refund. The sales person blew me off, because she had already gotten her sale. Another person was glad to assist me and assured my account would be credited within 3 to 5 business days. It wasn't. I called back, they has forgot to process the paperwork. I did receive my refund another week latter. I will not use them again.
