JR went around the entire yard, pointed things out and provided a detailed estimate of the cost for services needed. The price is certainly fair, but hiring delayed due to air conditioning and other unanticipated plumbing and electrical problems. An old house!

I purchased a 799 coupon (for $1000 worth of work) and the work performed was more than I expected. I was on site and all my questions were answered. I recommend St Pete & Pinellas for your tree trimming needs.

Everything went great. JR came and gave us an estimate for the work we wanted done and he and his crew showed up exactly when he said they would.  While they were working we decided to add a couple more palm trees and his foreman Arvin went to get them on the spot.  I can't say enough good things about JR and Arvin and his crew.  They are hard working and very detail oriented.  Everything looks perfect.  In fact we have hired JR to do additional work in May.
I wouldn't hesitate recommending Plugs + and would give them an A++++

Experienced crew did the work as described in the estimate, removing banana trees and stumps by hand, pruning arboricals and ixora, putting down 20 bags of mulch, trimming around pool cage, pruning palms, adding potting soil where stumps were dug out.
I would not use this provider again as the price was too much in my opinion, although I appreciated the quality of the work done by the actual crew.  I would try to deal directly with a worker in the future rather than go through a company which appears to add to the cost of the actual work done.

The whole operation was well done. My call for an estimate was promptly returned and a reasonably close date established. The estimate was a walk around my property identifying areas of concern and helpful suggestions what on an approach. A reasonable price was given and accepted.
A scheduler called and we set a date that would work for me. Everything was very cordial and professional.
The crew showed up on the set date on time ready to go. Because of the space limitations these guys had to climb these trees, no bucket truck. What a professional crew! They seem to talk through what they were going to do. All trees were trimmed as agreed with no property damage, on mine or the neighbors fence. It didn't end there, these guys proceeded to clean up the job. There didn't seem to be a twig left after cleaning the property and road in front.
Absolutely this group is part of the best of the best. You want professional work done on your property, I highly recommend these guys.

It took quite a while from time we got the proposal to actually getting the work done, someone was on vacation, bla, bla, bla.  But we were in no hurry.
    8/25 - Estimate Taken
8/26 - Proposal sent and Approved by me
9/1 - Received an email that the work was scheduled for 10/2
    10/2 - work was performed
I gave "Responsiveness and Punctuality" bad grades due to the fact it took over a month to get the work done. Again, we were not in a hurry but wouldn't give those areas good grades with that type of a timeline.
Should have questioned the Pygmy palms cost, seems high ($20) since the foxtails are $11.6666667, yes really 11.6666667. Also, aesthetically the Oaks look horrible- Thank god they'll grow back.
Pygmy Palms - Front yard. Trim 9-3 and remove seed pods -  QTY 3 @ 20.00
Foxtail Palms - Front yard. Trim 9-3 and remove seed pods. Roof clearance 3' -  Qty 3 @ 11.6666667
Live Oaks - Back yard. Remove lowest layer of branches - 2 @ 87.50
    Live Oaks - Back yard. "Top by 25-30%" - 2 @  87.50
I wasn't at the house when they performed the work or would have mentioned that "trim the branches so they don't touch the pool cage" means cut them so they don't touch the pool cage. Im trimming them myself because they didn't.
The invoice came via email and went right to my junk mail folder. Just now cleaning the folder and noticed a "Second Notice" email. I guess I expected a mailed invoice, thats how every other vendor in this category works. At least the ones I've used. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather deal with a technical solution then a human for the payment process! However, you can view the invoice online but you need to call them to pay?
10/5 - first email on invoice - Straight to junk mail
10/23 - second email on invoice - agin straight to junk (called them and left message on their answering machine to call me for payment)

I called and scheduled an appointment for a quote. Due to the time of the appointment, I took the day off of work. He failed to show. I tried calling him multiple times and left a voicemail message the first time with no luck. He didn't call me back until the next week, and asked if I would give him a chance again. Needless to say, I didn't respond. I wasn't about to take more time off work for a company that is that unreliable. (Note: Date is approximate. I know it was in late June for the last contact, but I'm not completely positive on the actual date.)

Constine and his co-workers showed up to provide an estimate to trim all of our large palms.  They were on time and very courteous and professional.  We walked around the yard and went over the work that needed to be done and they gave an estimate for those palms and an estimate for all of our other palms.  We agreed to a price and I asked them if they could start right away.   My wife came home and pointed out a couple of areas she wanted them to take care of and they did what she asked without adding to the estimate they already gave us.  We had them trim and raise one of our oaks in the front yard as well and they did that for a very fair price.  The whole team was very polite and friendly and paid attention to every thing my wife (the boss) wanted to have done.  They cleaned up everything when they were done and hauled it all away.  Our neighbors came out and saw the work they had done and hired them to come do their trees.  I asked them for some extra business cards because I will recommend them to all of our friends and neighbors.  They did an EXCELLENT job!  We will be using them from now on for all of our tree maintenance.

Three guys worked diligently but needed a lot of direction, seemed not to know much about trees, had no suggestions to make or observations about what was needed.  Cleaned up debris, hauled most of it away that day but some was left to be picked up by another truck two days later.  My impression was that their experience was mostly mowing lawns, not landscaping as I would define it.  De-mossing oak tree was not done completely, did not use a tall ladder so mostly worked on what could be reached from the ground or by standing on one of the big mowers.  I was glad to get a lot of heavy pruning done however so I consider it a good deal, since it included removal as well.  Next time I think I would look for someone with more tree experience, maybe an arborist even.

    Stillman's Tree Service
We had a rocky start getting the appointment times straight as I wanted to be present when the work was performed.  In the end, however, Andrew (the owner) sent a couple guys to perform the work exactly as I expected.  Megan sent a card apologizing for the miscommunications.  I think overall it is rare to find someone who will go the extra mile to make sure the customer is completely satisfied.

I am altering my original recommendation because my overall experience has changed.  I will use Stillman's Tree Service again when the trees need trimming and have already shared my experience with neighbors who have asked about my trimmed live oak trees.

Thank you Andrew for taking the extra steps to get me what I originally wanted; cleaned and trimmed trees at a set appointment time when I was present.  Though my original experience was not satisfactory, your follow up and my overall experience exceeded my expectations.
