  • I had the system installed in late spring, 2017. In early January 2018, I found a leak under the sink and I called Rainsoft to check their system. The plumber came out several days later, checked the system and said that it was the garbage disposal that was leaking, not their system. January 10th, I had the garbage disposal replaced. Assuming all was well, I did not check thoroughly under the sink again until one night in March, I needed something deep in the cabinet, and found a large puddle under my sink. The bottom of my cabinet was depressed and there was mold all along the back wall as well as around the puddle. I called my plumber back, and we found nothing until I tried using the water from the refrigerator, and heard the leaking under the sink. With careful inspection, I found the leak at the Rainsoft valve that connects to the refrigerator system. I immediately called Rainsoft and they said they would send someone out. Several days later, I phoned them again as I had not heard back from them. Their plumber called me, made an appointment for the end of the week and once again, they did not show up. Placed a call to Rainsoft and they assured me that the plumber would get in contact with me. He called very late Friday evening and stated that he was stuck at a job and assured me he would come the following day. The next day, Saturday, I phoned the Rainsoft office to get an estimate of when the plumber would arrive. A very rude receptionist told me that I was not on their list. I explained to her that the plumber had called me personally and assured me that he would come that day. I asked her to contact him, and she very rudely told me to call him myself. I explained that I did not have his number any longer, and if she could please contact him and get the information for me. She said that she couldn't give me his number. And I said, "if you needed to get in contact with him, what number would you use? Please call him and tell him to call me". Late in the afternoon, I phoned Rainsoft again and was transferred to the emergency number, was once again told I was not on the list but he would have the plumber get in contact with me. Then the office called me, made an appointment for Wednesday. The plumber called me later and said he would come Monday. He never came. He finally came on the following Wednesday and replaced the valve. He also witnessed the mold and told me he would tell the office that I wanted it taken care of by them, since we had discovered the leak back in January. The following week I had not heard back, and I placed a call to the office. They acted very concerned and gave me a number to which I was to text photos of the damage. I have still not heard back from them for a problem that began months ago. This Thursday morning, I was approached in Home Depot by the Rainsoft people to take a water survery. I explained that I already had the system which I was having problems with, and she sent them a message on her computer. I have still not heard back from them. I have asthma, and I am using my inhaler more often. I am deeply concerned for my health and my reaction to the mold, as well as the other people living in my home. I reach out to you to please help me in this situation.

  • Had to fire Sutter due to their negligence in maintaining a brand new $8,000 whole house RO system that I had them install a year ago. Carl is a very nice guy, but he constantly misses appointments that he sets. I've had a leak at the pump that he installed for over a year which is starting to rust out the pump. I have asked him multiple times to correct the issue and to this day, it still has not been fixed. Also, there were certain components in the system that should have been stainless or plastic due to the system being outside. There is a reason he has so many F reviews on Angieslist. Carl is slightly cheaper than some other companies, but in this case, you really do get what you pay for.

  • Living on well water has many challenges. We have tried 3 other providers before finding Nathan and Simple Water Services. Nathan has been great to work with, very well educated in all things well water, extremely responsive, explains the issue in detail, and he has found a solution to all of the issues that we have had (and paid others to unsuccessfully solve). He gets to the bottom of an issue quickly and often performs work same or next day. If something does not go as planned, he communicates the issue and what his next step will be. He takes pride in his work and cleans up after his work when necessary. Nathan always communicates if he is running behind or on time, so we know exactly when to expect him if we need to be home. Nathan is not your typical well guy or salesman, and appears very young for his knowledge and experience, but he is by far the most comprehensive and accurate well water maintenance guy we have met! I have recommended Nathan to many neighbors who are also very happy with his service.

  • I used Carl for over 10 years and once upon a time he was really good but like so many businesses these days they get lazy. In my case after installing a brand new system by Sutter Filtration my water just was of poor quality. Clothes weren't coming out clean, dishes in the dishwasher turning white and chalky and then ridiculous bills to follow. I finally had enough and dumped this company and better off since.

  • I made an appointment for a new hot water heater estimate a week in advance by using their online system. I received an email confirming they received my request. No one showed up. If the online appointment system is not going to work then don't offer it as an option. A disappointing experience from a company that seemingly has good ratings.

  • Bo was amazing!  He fixed the toilet but then I asked if he wouldn't mind looking at my garage that had water on the floor. It had been weeks since we noticed but couldn't find where it was coming from.  I had called a roofer thinking there was a leak. My next step was to call the air conditioner repairman.  As soon as Bo walked in the garage, he didn't stop until he found the spray coming from the water heater. Getting to that water heater was no easy task.  He found it, replaced it and even referred me to a water restoration company that was very honest. Great news-no mold!  I definitely would recommend Cape Plumbing!  I definitely would ask for Bo again!  Terrific company!

  • I called a couple plumbers could not even get a phone call back. When I called Steve from Cape Plumbing he was very honest and straight forward with the pricing and time. We scheduled service and within 48 hours water heater was replaced.  I have to compliment Mat on the work done, he was very courteous and explained everything well.

    Nice job guys and I highly recommend them.

  • Bill, the owner, is the most knowledgeable person on the subject. I interviewed several angie's list companies before going with water zone. They were not the cheapest, but I feel that I am getting exactly what I want. The installation is being done in two parts (given my current piping issues), but so far they have been, punctual, professional, responsive... I have only good things to say. I would use them again and will recommend to my friends.

  • Cape was very responsive to my call and got back to me the same day.  Steve showed up on Friday and had all that could be done finished before he left.  Can't wait to have him button up sink, faucet, water filter and dishwasher in June.   I would highly recommend these folks anytime.
