Stone & Gravel reviews in Parkland

We always appreciate a family-owned business, especially when a family member personally comes out for a consultation, provides an estimate, and is on-scene for the actual work. This was our experience with Pristine Landscapes. They were prompt, professional, and thorough. Above all, they did a beautiful job, staying until everything was perfect and going above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. We are thrilled with the results and would most highly recommend Pristine to our neighbors and anyone lucky enough to live within their service area. Fair pricing and top-of-the-line delivery. They provided a computerized image of the projected outcome and within one day, made it a reality. We went from old, dreary landscaping to a lush, colorful, low-maintenance gem. Thank you!

Working with Sue was an absolute pleasure. Her and her team were on time and did a fantastic job. Our new landscaping looks amazing and the hand cut stone walls came out better than we could have hoped. Sue kept up informed with all the progress details and was incredibly responsive to our wants and questions. If you are looking for "professional" landscapers, you really need to call them.

Were hired two years ago to border and fill a number of beds around trees and shrubs. Initially looked great but it turned out the border they supplied needed to be nailed or spiked to stay in place. Because they failed to do this, the borders have come out and they are not easy to put back. See border material photos below. Supplied them with the same photos to prove my point but they have been silent. I feel their claim that too much time has passed doesnt fly because they didnt do the work properly in the first place.

From beginning to end Sue and everyone at Pristine were exceptional in every aspect. Sue was very quick to return calls and made the time to listen to all of our concerns. She was extremely knowledgeable and gave excellent suggestions on layout and types of plants that would suit our needs. The illustrations and proposal (which was the most detailed and transparent of any others we received) were sent in a timely manner as well as all the documents required by our HOA. The work was completed very efficiently in 1 day and is absolutely beautiful. Sue made sure to be on site as much as possible to oversee the progress. The crew worked from morning until night and did not leave until everything was perfect! They even helped my husband change and adjust sprinkler heads. Our yard went from dirt, weeds and dry grass to a tropical oasis with a combination of new palm trees, plants, flowers, egg rock, mulch and fieldstone wall/walkway. We plan to landscape our backyard and will definately use Pristine again!

We decided to overhaul our front and rear landscaping and go with a Zen garden effect. We reached out to a number of landscapers on Angies List. Pristine Landscapes was the most responsive and professional of all. Sue Sommers came up with a number of suggestions. Since this was our first attempt at a Zen Garden Sue was extremely helpful in assisting us with ideas. The contract was smooth and Sue was willing to work with us. The day of the install was raining and Pristine showed up with their crew and was ready to go to work. Sue was extremely accommodating with us after we had driven her crazy moving plants around. Sue Sommers was patient with my wife and I and offered her assistance and knowledge in accommodating our request. If youre looking to redo landscaping dont look any further than Pristine Landscapes. You will not be sorry. Thanks to Sue and her crew at Pristine our Zen Garden looks beautiful

So impressed. Sue Sommers and her crew are too good to be true. Sue us an artist. All were prompt, courteous, professional, cheerful, great work ethic and so skilled. The crew has been with this family business for many years. Very trustworthy and a joy to work with. One of our best decisions. Beautiful job.

Mark Sommer is about as professional as they come. He was responsive and eager to make it right when we weren't pleased with one part of the job actually redid the whole second half of the work we hired his crew for. Can't go wrong with hiring him.

It is not even possible to describe how absolutely happy we are with the entire experience. If you feel seeing is believing just have Pristine Landscapers come out and design for you.... They will show you a photo plan especially to meet your needs and that photo will be what you get installed if you approve of it. You will be blown away. I doubt there is a better team than Mark, Sue and Ansal's crew in this County. Pristine is pure gold in every way.

Our contract was signed in October of 2015. We worked with David McHenry who introduced himself to us as the co-owner and founder of the company.  National Brick Pavers had worked on our neighbors driveway and paths. That job went well and looked good. We felt comfortable with the work that we saw done there and the "A" rating on Angie's List. Mr. McHenry was personable and knew his product.
Three months later the work was initiated. We were given a myriad of excuses as to the late starting date. We allowed for heavy rains, however, there were many periods of dry weather over this time frame when National Brick Pavers could have begun our job. Finally, in the middle of January the work was begun. Permits were obtained from the city, BUT no call was made to 811. As a result, our cable was cut the first day of excavation and the check valve on our irrigation well was broken. Needless to say, this wasted over half a day before the work could continue. The crew worked over a period of several days and left, saying it was completed. The front path to our front door was laid over the existing concrete and this resulted in a drop-off of 8 inches to the grass which was an extreme hazard.
The city came for the final inspection and would not sign off on the job because of the lack of a berm and sod next to the driveway and path. We made numerous calls to National Brick Pavers, leaving messages at both the office and David McHenry's phone. After being told that the permit had been signed off, which we later learned was not true, we were finally told that David McHenry had left both the company and the country. David Gordon finally came over to look at our job. We presented him with a list containing at least 14 grievances. He refused to take the list and did not want to even discuss it. Finally, he had a subcontractor lay sod. This man covered all of our irrigation sprinklers with sand, dirt and sod. The permit was signed off on. David Gordon had a person come over to fix the irrigation issues and said that he would have the crew come back to complete the side path. We are still waiting.....5 months so far!! Stay away from this company!!

    a) We have a rubble foundation that was leaking badly in any sort of rainstorm. Perez hand dug trenches around the home and below the original footer, poured new footers and installed cider blocks against the existing foundations, applied a waterproof membrane to prevent leakage. Filled in the trenches and left the area clean as it was before he started.

b)Ripped up old driveway and rebar by hand. Leveled off the base of the driveway so that drainage was away from the house. Installed new cement so that the driveway is now new and smooth. Looks great.

    c) We have 4 stone porch support columns. The one on the driveway was leaning away from the house due to the condition of the now replaced driveway.  This was pulling away from the home. Perez dismantled the old column, stone by stone, poured a new and level footing and reused the existing stones to match the remaining columns and is now perfectly level.

Excellent work all professionally done.  All debris was removed timely and the landscape was returned to original condition.

I highly recommend Perez and his team for any concrete work. Very satisfied.
