Pressure Washing reviews in Parkland

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • Pressure washing of the roof went well. However, the pressure washing of the driveway and sealing it was an epic fail. Driveway was dirty in some spots before the washing... but bricks were red just needed sealant to make it look even better. I ended up with white bricks when he was done. The sand they threw in between grooves was poorly done and there was loose sand everywhere including on top of bricks and sealed on it instead of brushing it off into the grooves neatly. After I sent him a picture of how it turned out a couple of days after sealing the driveway, he agreed that it looked horrible and offered to redo it. However, he said he would charge an additional $100 for another type of sealant that would bring out the color better. He showed up and stripped the original sealant, and was going to return the following day to seal it and never showed up. I have texted him that if he is not able to complete the job to reimburse me and I will get someone else to finish and have received no response. Therefore, I ended up with a driveway that looks worse now than when it was dirty. Total rip off.

  • It went well. I liked the fact that everything went smoothly from the person answering the phone and giving me a price to the guy showing up to do the work. Everyone was polite and on time. I will definitely use this company again for sure!

  • Very efficient and affordable. Exactly as described. Plants and grass spots were killed but came back in 3-4 weeks as explained. Work done while we were away. Service provider was not good at cleanup. Found 3 blue gloves and a cut up hose throughout the yard upon return and inspection.

  • I’m a first time client and I will use no other painter than Painting Dimensions. They were professional, on-time and did an incredible painting job on our entire 6,000 sq.ft. Parkland house. I would never use anyone else. Sheldon made sure I understood the step-by-step painting process and was easy to work with. He supervised his workers every day. His workers were clean, professional and hard workers. Sheldon made a hard job easy because he runs a good professional painting company. Thank you for making our house look so beautiful and many years to come. Cindy

  • I spent a couple weeks researching and talking with many painting companies. When I discussed all the details to what we were looking to have done Lisa from CleanPower provided all the right answers. Lisa was very meticulous and pointed out all the details. In fact, she said to us to look for specifics in case we choose another painting company. We were very impressed with her and how she represents her company. CleanPower is not inexpensive however the work they did was top notch! Their attention to detail is incredible! The entire project took 3.5 days to complete from pressure washing, caulking (not just windows but all areas), sealer and painting. They use nothing but high quality products! Our house looks amazing and you can see the quality of the job. I would highly recommend CleanPower for your house painting. You will be amazed!

  • First of all, this business is not an “accredited BBB business” as stated in their outgoing voicemail, which by the way you will probably hear because you will rarely get a live person when you call. The current BBB rating is F and not accredited. In addition, the BBB has cited this business for improper use of the BBB logo and name. We had used D’Amico several years ago for the exterior of our home. The job went well and without incident. We recommended D’Amico several times over the years and in June of 2017 decided to use them again for the exterior and interior of our home. The owner came to our home and we signed an agreement for both the exterior and interior. One of the items on the contract was that all of the interior moldings and doors would be painted in an oil based paint. The painting of the exterior went well and about a week later they started the inside. I might add that I had some questions about the interior portion of the job and tried to reach the owner regarding the questions I had….I almost always got the voicemail and had to call several times before getting a return call. At some point during the interior job the painter (who is a subcontractor) mentioned to us that there would be an extreme odor from the oil based paint being used for the moldings and doors. He suggested using a high gloss latex paint and said the end result would be the same without the odor. We thought it sounded reasonable so we agreed and the job continued. He evidently exchanged the paint at the paint supplier and never mentioned it to the owner. In retrospect, it is obvious that the subcontractor did not like using oil based paint because of the fumes, so that’s why he recommended the latex paint. The job was completed a few days later and we were satisfied. We had asked the painter to touch up a few items which he did. So overall the job went well. I called the owner and told him that the job was completed to our satisfaction and he could come over to pick up the balance due. Fast forward 7 months later: We noticed that the paint is peeling from 2 of the doors. This is when our relationship with this company went south. I called the owner and mentioned the problem to him and I also told him that there was a conversation with his painter regarding the substitution of the latex paint for the oil based paint on the moldings and doors. His response was unprofessional to say the least: He said, and I quote: “Why the*(expletive)* would you agree to that when we specifically discussed the oil based paint”. I told him that I didn’t recall any major discussion about that because there were many items discussed at the time the contract was signed. The owner said he was going to reprimand his subcontractor and would get back to me. A few days went by and I did not hear from the owner so I called him again. We were in the middle of the conversation when I realized that there was no one on the phone and I was talking to myself. I called back and got the voicemail. I tried several times on his cell and office line during the day and could not get him on the phone again. The office number went directly to a fax. So I decided to write a letter and fax it to him. Below is the text of the faxed letter: Regarding our conversation yesterday, at first I thought we were disconnected, but after not hearing back from you and not being able to reach you again, it became apparent that you simply hung up because you weren’t interested in the rest of the story I was relating to you. I know you are busy and don’t have as much free time as I do, but all you had to do is tell me you had to go and that would have been fine. I tried you back several times, left one message and then your voice mailbox was full so I couldn’t leave any more messages. Is this how an “accredited BBB business” operates?? I don’t think so. And this is not the first time I have not been able to reach you. That being said, let’s get to the issue at hand. It was your sub who caused the problem, not me. Initially, when we first spoke about this you asked me “why the “(expletive)” did I let him use the latex trim paint after we went over everything when the contract was written”. When you were here we spoke about a lot of things and I don’t recall a major discussion about the oil based paint. Nevertheless, turning it around on me is the not the solution. Having control over your people is. This was a typical case of a sub doing what he wants and not respecting you as a contractor. He told me that a special latex trim paint would be just as good and would not have an odor, he seemed like a straight up guy so I agreed. Bottom line, the job came out very nice inside and out. I am not asking you to come back and redo all the trim and doors, we really don’t want another disruption. I am not really worried about the moldings, there was crappy builders paint on them for 20 years without peeling. Most of the doors seem OK now but we will see. I would appreciate it if you would supply me with a gallon of the paint that was used so I can address the issue myself as needed. I don’t think that’s an unreasonable request being that the job was technically not done according to the terms of the contract. I have been referring you since the last job you did for me 10 years ago and I know that you got at least one job from those referrals. But right now I am disappointed in you and the way you are handling this. Greg, I expect a phone call from you ASAP. The fax went through and within minutes I received the following text message from him on my cell phone: ”Neil Greg first of all i cant believe you went behind my back made a deal with one of my painters and now you are calling me to fix the problem you and he made not only calling you have called like 15 times since yesterday call the person you made the deal with R***** (***) ***-**** Please do not call me again regarding this matter” I responded to his text as follows: I made a deal????...what are you talking about....that's how you perceive this... that I made a deal???.....R*****o caused this and I don't have a contract with him...if you would pick up your phone I wouldn't have to call you 15 times....don't get weird should do the right thing and not twist the story to your advantage.....and that's what you do.....and then you abruptly hang up.....I am done with have to live with yourself....oh and by the way, I see your accredited BBB rating is now F unaccredited.....not surprised......I paid u 8 grand and could have gotten it done for 4 by hiring a sub....but we liked you the first time ...things change though....I don't need your gallon of need an attitude adjustment..... So the owner had the audacity to tell me to contact his painter/subcontractor and not to contact him anymore regarding this matter. He is not taking any responsibility or accountability for the action of his subcontractor. I don’t have a contract with the sub, I have a contract with D’Amico. A contractor is responsible for what his subcontractor says or does. Based on other reviews of this company, the owner will conveniently twist a situation and will try to put the customer at fault, and that’s exactly what’s happening here. Then, when customers give him a negative review he will attempt a rebuttal that will make the customer appear unreasonable. This is a trend with him. There is nothing unreasonable here…….all I asked for was a gallon of paint…..not a problem…..I will buy the paint myself and move on. I generally do not post such negative reviews because in most cases if I am dealing with a reasonable person an issue can be resolved. Also, after you sign a contract with him and give him a deposit he rarely picks up his phone and you have to call several times before you get a return call. BUYER BEWARE….YOU MAY GET A DECENT JOB BUT GOOD LUCK DEALING WITH THE OWNER IF THERE IS A PROBLEM.

  • I previously posted a review for this Company because I was extremely unhappy with their work. To their credit they called me right away and reworked the problem areas. Thank you Aqua Force for the customer service & for coming out again. Appreciate it.

  • I told him there was rust on the sidewalk. He attempted to remove the rust, but did not have enough rust remover. So, he said he would come back within the month to finish removing the rust, but he has not returned and I have not heard from him. Also, his price was very high.
