    Found Jose on angies list and called him on a Saturday morning. Jose responded that morning and I told him I just bought the boat and it was surveyed before the purchase and a few minor repairs needed to be done. As we went to the dock he pointed out that the boat right next to mine was a customer of his. He gave me estimates on all the repairs and we agreed he would come back on Tuesday.

    I then contacted the boat owner who had Jose work on his boat. He said the Jose was excellent, a hard worker, honest and he would recommend him without hesitation.

    Jose is coming back to finish the other minor repairs and I will have him detail the boat, wash, compound, and wax. Jose reminds me of a surgeon with his helper as the operating room nurse. Jose works and his helper hands him the tools he needs to make repairs without asking. A very efficient use of Jose's time. Jose also has no problem with you watching over his shoulder and he explains what he is looking for and what is right and wrong as he goes about his diagnoses of the problem.

    I was referred to him by a couple of my buddies in the business. He is my guy now, I will be using him whenever I need his services. He repairs, refinishes, paints and gelcoats any marine fiberglass application you could think of. My boat is a very dark green, and it is very difficult to match the colors very exactly. I cannot even tell where Yure did the work. He is very honest and offers to either do work by the hour or one lump sum, whichever works for you. He also gives you a CD with photo documentation of the entire process. Everything about him is A+, he is the best man I have worked with in the marine business. I have been in it 30 years.

    Listed our boat for sale. Ability to contact agent, (who is also owner of the company), was never very good, nor was getting him to return calls. When a buyer made an offer, they had the boat inspected. It was found that the refrigerator needed repaired. Our Broker (who had all warranty papers) told us that to expedite the sale we should pay for the repair and it would be covered by warranty. We did so and after the sale we made repeated attempts to get our money. Agent kept telling us they were having trouble reaching the warranty company. After two months of calling repeatedly and not getting calls returned I finally reached our agent and he gave me the information on the warranty company. I was able to reach them in two days. I submitted the bill we had paid and asked for reimbursement. We were informed by letter that our broker had made the repairs without getting pre-approval and therefore we would not be reimbursed. It is their business selling boats, maintaining boats, and repairing boats. They had all papers regarding our boat and should have known to get pre-approval if that is the norm. They will not return my calls or take my calls at this time. The amt of money involved in the repair is $614. He had all of our warranty information to help in the sale of the boat. we could not have contacted the warranty company because he had our information.
