  • We have used ECM for many years. It is a great convenience when something goes wrong to have someone to call and their response is usually timely. We have had two air-conditioning units replaced with them and their air-conditioning sales people and installers were professional and proficient. Sometimes for the minor repairs it can take a couple of times to get something done correctly, but overall I would highly recommend ECM.

  • What a happy experience! Chris came to our home about two weeks ago and said that we needed a part that was no longer made for our ice maker. He said he was going to try to find one and said he would let me know. If not, our 10 year old $9000 KA built in refrigerator would no longer have the ice in door capability. He said that when we lose power, the mfr. doesn't tell you that you need to remove the ice bin so the water doesn't blow out the motor, which was our issue. Chris came back today with the part he had found (he had to modify it himself) and I have ice again! Abbott Appliance is great-old fashioned, good service.

  • Fantastic Service! Dan diagnosed the issue with my dryer and fixed it within minutes. I then mentioned that my garbage disposal wasn’t working. He took a look at it and said that it needed to be replaced. He had a new disposal on the truck and was able to install it then and there. All for a very reasonable, fair price! I will definitely use Dan again and recommend him to all of my friends.

  • Great experience! Ice started to build up on the back of my refrigerator and it began to make a noise. Then it wasn't staying cold - temp reading was 50 - 55. It would not cool down to the recommended temp of 38. I used Angie's List to find Abbott Appliance repair and I could not be more happy or have had a better experience. One word that describes Chris is honest. He was clear on what he was doing (some trouble shooting to determine the issue) and gave us a range of the cost with a best and worst case scenario. This was enough information to make the decision to move forward with the repair instead of getting a new refrigerator. In the end the repair came in on the low end and for $220 it is all fixed and I am an extremely satisfied customer. So much so we just asked Chris to help us with a repair on our stove. Before using Abbott I used Sears and Service America - I promise you look no further and call Abbott Appliance Repair, you will not be disappointed. Much thanks to Chris.

  • Dan was awesome!! Our freezer door was frozen shut. He came out but couldn't do anything. Over next few days, he guided me what to do via texting. He came out 3 days later and fixed it. VERY professional and will hire him again.

  • I wasn't contacted at the time given. After 15 minutes past I cld to find out what was going on. I assumed that the tech would come at 9am because that was the time given at initial contact. So I cld at 9:15am and the lady who took my information did not make it clear when I first cld that the tech would call at 9am not come to my location at 9am. This was fine, that was a mixup in communication, happens all the time but since all this time has past and I received no call as she stated I would, I asked why I haven't been contacted. The lady then puts me on a 2 second hold and says "ok you will get a call around 10am -10:30am you are first on the list!" No ma'am!! Are you serious?? Very unprofessional!! When you say you are going to call/or come as a business, and the customer is waiting, you should be on time! You don't change or push the time later for your convenience for no reason given but I'm first on the list! What a joke! With that, I was told to wait an extra hour or more from the original time given for the tech to call and then decide what time he will arrive! Again more miss information! No thanks cancelled service!

  • The service manager Washington spend a considerable amount of time looking at my oven and looking up the problem. He ended up telling me that it could be one of two parts, but that he could not be sure that replacing either or both would actually fix the issue and leaving it up to me to decide if I wanted to spend over $700 and possibly not get the oven fixed. I ended up choosing not to repair and was grateful for his honesty. He was more concerned about being fair to me and having me not be satisfied with the repair if it did not work than he was in just doing a repair that might not work. I will not hesitate to call this company again.

  • Nick at NY Appliance was recommended by another appliance repair company that does not work on Bosch. He scheduled me for his first open slot, came out on time, set right to work, and didn't waste any time. He solved the issue with the dishwasher and his prices were much more reasonable than those that Bosch Corporate was charging for their people to come out. Overall, I'd have no problem using or recommending him again anytime.

  • Local authorized dealer sent an email confirming date and time of appointment with a picture of the technician. He showed up on time, knew his job, took care of the problem, provided us with warranty info. etc.
