    AAA Contractor Services Inc.
OUTSTANDING!! This company is first-class from start to finish, you will not be disappointed if you hire AAA Contractor Services to clean your house/buildings! From scheduling with Laurie to having the house and storage shed cleaned, they were pleasant to work with and everything happened just as, and when, Laurie said it would. They were right on time and did a tremendous job cleaning the house and shed, using a not "too high" pressure system, less wear on the house. They even smelled better for a while after the job was done due to the cleaning solution they use. Highly recommend and will definitely hire again. House and shed look great!

    Tool Time Buildings & Roofing
I have no complaints not one. Like I said, I wish I could show my before and after photos. A picture says a thousand words. Also my shed was 7,000.00 but the other projects were separate from the other work, but worth every penny spent.

    Ira Eugene Mack Concrete LLC
Ira Mack was very easy to work with, we were undecided as to pouring all three slabs; not a problem for Ira he estimated all three for us. When he returned to do the work his crew was very professional, dealt with questions and changes very well. There was a slight misunderstanding with one of my drawings, he simply readjusted the forms to fit as I had intended. Ira made some great suggestions for improvements on my original plans, we went ahead and used his ideas and I'm very happy we did. Under the stressful conditions that the RV will put on the slabs Ira suggested that we poured a thicker slab and made adjustments to the concrete he ordered to include a higher strength and fiber reinforcement along with the welded wire grid. The only thing he added to the cost was or the additional concrete he needed for the thicker slabs and a load of fill dirt, all was at his cost. It was a real pleasure to work with Ira and his crew, when we need concrete again I will use Ira with out any hesitation.

We hired Prestige Pavers after a pool co. we hired to resurface & pave around the pool disappeared with our money.  Prestige stated they would lay pavers around the pool for $2500, which sounded reasonable.  Since this is a rental property and we don't live in the area, we had to trust the company to do the job as expected.  Now three yrs. later,(08/2013  some of the pavers have separated from the side of the pool.  Several phone calls later and broken appointments have had no results.  We feel the person who was sent to our home to do the job did not prepare the surface of the pool deck properly to lay the pavers.  We do recall that the workman who did the job alone  paved the two steps leading to the pool area  incorrectly and  had to return to repair the steps as the tenants could not close & lock the gate door as is required by law.  Those pavers (steps) are now also loose.

    Tom's Quality Concrete
Roots had displaced parts of our conrete driveway. After checking with several other companies (who didn't seem to have a clue or just didn't seem interested) we read about Tom's Quality Concrete on Angie's List. With the prompt return of our call we set a date for them to come by and look at what we had and discuss what could be done.
They came on time, gave us options, discussed our concerns, and answered all our questions.
We set a date for them to come... there was a slight delay due to the lack of arrival of the dumpster... but once it was delivered they got right to work. They broke up and removed the old concrete to the dumpster, dug out all the roots (big and small), leveled and then poured the concrete. They even brought extra gravel to add so the new would match what was already there! It is not often you see workers work so hard, but they were hard at it all day. By day's end all was finished, the dumpster had been removed, and Tom was spraying off the drive, putting out markers so it would not be driven on until set.
He came back the next day to check everything and make sure we were satisfield. We were...totally, and when we eventually replace to whole drive we will definitely call him.
If you want professional service and knowledgeable experience we could not recommend any one better!

    Break-N-Ground LLC
While searching for a company to expand my driveway I came across Break-N-Ground LLC and called to have someone come out and give me an estimate. An employee from Break-N-Ground, Mickey, came out and gave an estimate for $3/per square foot which was in keeping with the average cost. About 2 weeks later I scheduled the work to be done the following Friday. I was told that they would arrive between 6:00-6:30 a.m. and it would only take until "about lunchtime". There was no confirmation call the day prior so I trusted that things were on schedule and I would see them early the next morning. At 7:15 a.m they still had not arrived so I gave Mickey a call to see what had happened. I was told that they needed to clean up a job from the previous day and pour a porch and then they would be right over. By 1:30 pm I still had heard nothing so I called Mickey to let him know that I had waited as long as I could and they shouldn't bother coming to my home because I was canceling. He actually had the nerve to ask me "why???". As nice as MIckey was when he cam out to do the estimate I need a company I can rely upon to do the job they say they're going to do and WHEN they're going to do it. At the very least I should NEVER have had to call him to ask what was going on; He should have called me the evening prior to allow me to decide if I needed to reschedule.
All in all, nice employees but an unreliable company.

    White's Concrete Services
They did the work in a very timely fashion. We were very satisfied with the work and the price was very fair and reasonable. We got another bid for the job that was about three times as much. I would highly recommend them.

Started out OK, after a few hard rains we realized the driveway was slightly slanted towards the house. He eventually lowered the driveway ~ 2 inches and stopped the water from coming into the garage, but in the process did a sloppy job. I've sent him photos of the sloppy work, and he has said many times he'd "try to get out there"; bottom line is he never showed.  He made it clear to me during a phone call last month he would not come out again.

    Tom's Quality Concrete
Through our contractor Carl Curti, we had Tom's Quality Concrete dig, form, and pour a foundation and slab for a 768 s.f. addition to our house. Carl assured us that the cost was fair and that the work would be performed in a timely manner and it was. Tom and his sons and crew were easy to communicate with and did everything they said they would do and more. After the foundation pour, block work, and slab prep, the Bay County Building inspector initially commented that this was "a text book job"! Later he said, "I don't know who you have doing your concrete work for you, but you don't have a thing to worry about, - - these guys really know their business, you just don't see work performed this well anymore." I emailed pictures of the whole job to my friend who was a building supervisor for Arthur Ruttenberg Homes for 20 years and he said that the foundation, block and steel work looked better than many commercial jobs he has witnessed. I am happy to report that the slab also turned out smooth and level as well and they put all the anchor and pro-bolts in the correct places. After both the foundation and slab pour I had several small forms (for stepping pads, etc.) ready in case there was any extra concrete left over and Tom and his crew helped me pour and finish them. They also used their tractor to spread and hand level an extra truckload of dirt in the low places in my yard while they were waiting for the slab to set up. They did not have to do any of this but I surely did appreciate their help! I would not hesitate to hire them for any future concrete jobs.
